First time at Red Lobster

I found the decor dark and gloomy. The service was not great either. I felt we had to wait too long for someone to take our order. The food was average. It's such a shame because I was really looking forward to eating there in Toronto.
p.s the cheddar biscuits were nice.

Get chefs that know how to cook!!!

There was no garlic whatsoever in the escargots and they should take lessons on how to make these properly!!.The seafood mushrrom caps tasted like old fish!! real Funky!!The steak was half over cooked like rubber the other half was partly raw,because the sirloin was cut uneven.Asked for a loaded potato didn't even have bacon bits and a tiny dish of butter for my lobster that was a size of the shrimp I buy.On top of it ,it was all cold!! Terrible prices for the quality of food and service.Won,t be going back there ever!!No wonder they went to hell ,their headed back in the same direction.!!

33rd Anniversary for my Dau and Husband.

We arrived for Party of 20. Could not be seated till 4pm time of start of event. Table not prepared for reservations made in advance. No set-up at all. Once seated however things smoothed out. Server was excellent. Wife is allergic to Shrimp and the head chef came out to check with wife on her choices. Came back couple times to check on her. Above and beyond service. Those two are keepers.

Absolutely loved my experience at Red…



Absolutely loved my experience at Red Lobster! The food was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked — especially the seafood, which was delicious and well-seasoned. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were addictive as always! The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a top spot if you’re craving quality seafood and great service. Will be coming back for sure!

Found a hair in my food, was told they would remake it. I had the ultimate feast, it came back in less than 10 mins. All they did was reboiled the crab legs and put everything on a new plate, the rest of the food was cold. Management was very apologetic, but putting the same food on a new plate is not what I was told would happen. We will not returned

Whoever said that things never change, obviously has not dined recently at Tallahassee Red Lobster restaurant.

It’s unfortunate that corporate management does not understand the concept of “don’t fix what ain’t broke“.

The recent Red Lobster menu changes are reminiscent of when Coca‑Cola made arguably the biggest blunder in consumer history when they announced changing the formula for Coca Cola. The world's most popular soft drink, was being changed and New Coke was introduced.

This mistake is considered the worst marketing blunder of the previous century.

It appears that the key executives at Red Lobster fail to understand that some things should not be changed.

* The battered fish is best described as thick chewy crust with a hint of fish inside.

* The clam chowder that originally was the world‘s finest and best tasting clam chowder now is a subdued paste with a really bad after taste.

* I didn’t think it was possible to mess up Cole Slaw, but they did! It now has a pink color, tastes distinctively unpleasant, and could be served as a cream soup. Unbelievable !!!

* If for any reason, the Lemon Dill Sauce proves unpopular, management might consider using it for Plastering Applications. The Sauce consistency is compatible

The Red Lobster restaurant is beautiful inside, and all staff are outstanding.

It’s sad that an establishment with such a unique and rich heritage could have their executive management cause the Red Lobster Ship miss the Port so badly. Their Lighthouse (see their logo) hasn’t been much of a guide.

In the Coca Cola debacle , the CEO was of Latin Heritage and didn’t understand that the switch to New Coke was more about stepping on memories that actual taste.

Is it possible that the Red Lobster decision maker is so new that they too fail to understand the impact of the changes they have implemented?

Suggestions to the appropriate Executives:
* Cease the perceived need to improve and get back to what works.
* Don’t fix what ain’t broke.

Disappointed with food..

Fried flounder was bland
Couldn't even taste of chees biscuits
Location was west broad in Richmond VA.
Hubby got the bay harbor lobster bake and he was disappointed as we very disappointed as well. The best part of our lunch were the mozzarella cheese sticks

Ive been eating at Red Lobster for 32…

Ive been eating at Red Lobster for 32 years. Taken my family there hundreds of times and it has always been very good! Since about December 2024 I have had the Admirals Feast like always about four times....and at three different locations and I had to throw the fish out each time. It is RANCID!! So two weeks ago I tried again and took my 83 year old mom there for lunch and she had the Tilapia. RANCID! She ate it anyway like she does, and ended up with food poisoning for a week! It wasn't good. It appears nothing there is fresh as it always has been. All the long term staff have been replaced with new, "cheaper costing" young staff, and the place is dead all the time. As a business owner I would place my bet that Red Lobster, though having recently tried its bail out, is on the way down. Many iconic places close eventually. It has had a great run, but its over.

Went last evening in Iselin NJ

Went last evening in Iselin NJ. It took 30 minutes for our server to bring our drinks and then it only got worse. Although the food was very good, we were there about an hour before we received our food and the staff there doesn't care. They brought our soup without spoons and waited another 5 minutes before we got them. Will never go back.

My order was incomplete and wrong three times how is that possible

I recently won a very large prize and was able to convert some of the money and or proceeds into gift cards. I had not been to Red lobster in quite a long time so I decided to get a gift card to Red lobster so that I can treat my family to a wonderful dining experience. My first visit was a four. The waitress never came back the dishes were dirty and the food wasn't up to par. Because I had a gift certificate or had converted some of my winnings into a gift certificate I still had a lot of money left and decided to use the rest on a to go order. I ordered almost $150 and to go items and when I picked up my order all seemed well however when I got home more than 90% of my meal was missing. I called for over 20 minutes and could not reach management. I showed up and was told that I was not given a portion of my order and that they would remake the entire thing however only a portion was made. When I checked the order again before leaving I noticed that it was still missing things. To compensate I was given hush puppies which I don't even eat and two desserts that I did not ask for which I was not happy with either. When I got home I realized that again most of my order was still missing including scallops, my two sides and my non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri had melted so I couldn't enjoy that. The manager stated that she would check on my order and make sure it was correct however she could not have because there's no way that it can be this completely inaccurate if anyone had checked it. Not only one time but three times the same order was inaccurate. I was given a coupon to dine out at another time however they're not considering that I had to take an Uber to get there twice and that wasn't allocated for and quite frankly they felt like they were giving me something when they were only making things correct in which the way they should have been in the first place. And all actuality they were replacing and not giving me anything in which I really only wanted my order to be accurate. I was in misled, misinformed, and had to wait an additional 45 minutes for another inaccurate and incomplete meal. The manager BJ was highly unprofessional, did not check my food as she stated, did not replace the order as she stated she would, and there is no way she could have checked the order because as I was leaving I checked it and I caught a few things but obviously I didn't catch everything. The only thing that really made up for this terrible experience was the customer service that I received from Mercedes a supervisor as well as a young man and I do not know his name but he is in the customer service department in the front staff. They can't make up for this experience however their empathy and overall attempt to make things better spoke for itself. Mercedes even compensated a free strawberry daiquiri for me when I came back in and explain to her what had happened which meant a lot to me. It would have meant more if I would have been able to enjoy it with my meal however that was not the case. Mercedes did go above and beyond and did what she can do which is more than what the manager did which basically was to go in the back and yell at the employees about who didn't do what not realizing that it starts with her as management.if she is setting an example for these individuals why is it that she dropped the ball when she was supposed to double check my order and did not and then gave me another order twice that was worse than the first order I received. There is no way that she could have checked my order. Instead of her replacing the entire order she threw in some hush puppies which first of all I don't eat didn't ask for didn't come with my mail and is not an adequate replacement for the time, and or food that I did not receive. She threw into desserts and I do appreciate that however she does not even know if I'm allergic to, like or even want it a slice of chocolate cake and a slice of cheesecake. When I informed her that the fish and french fries were still missing she brought that out however I did not realize that my size which were broccoli and baked potato were also still missing from my order which is absolutely ridiculous as this was the third time I had to wait an additional 45 minutes and if she would have packed it herself as she stated then it will be there. I also had ordered two other kids menus items which my other kids had ate and I was telling her that the way kids are when I got home I would have to give them my food because they've already eaten hers and she said she would just replace the entire thing and did not instead she throwing hush puppies. I would have been fine with that but you said an expectation and then you let me down again. in three day. I spent over $300 and was disappointed every time. Compensating me with money I already spent, less than is not sufficient. I actually spent more than what I was compensated with. Very disappointed

Will never return

We haven't been to a Red Lobster for three years and will probably never go back. Our experience was less than desirable with the restaurant just looking worn and shabby. I ordered a Margarita ans while it was tasty, it was made up with a full glass of ice and very little drink. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was luke warm at best and tasted old. Ordering shrimp linguine and a lobster tail was just plain awful. The shrimp were cold and not totally cooked while the (rock) lobster was water soggy and tasteless. Pealing the lobster from the shell left it dripping and it bent over limp. There was no taste to it and was a complete waste of $16 for maybe a 3 oz tail add on. I understand why the company is in chapter 13 and I also remember why we never went back three years ago after that meal. Never again folks, they have received our last dollar for the crap served.

Good crab legs

Oh my God, that is the best crab legs I have ever tasted in my life. The service was amazing and I have nothing to complain about this restaurant. It was absolutely amazing.

I highly recommend Red Lobster

I highly recommend Red Lobster, Breckenridge Ln, Louisville Kentucky. I usually go there two to three times a month. I was there on March 13, 2025, and as usual, the service was great from the greeter at the door to Terra, the server. She was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service. Within minutes of being seated, she approached my table and took the order. The food was warm and tasted great. I will definitely be returning to this Red Lobster.
