Breaking GDPR rules

Filled out a form for a 'brochure' on the Top Gear website. I was dubious at the time that I was to provide my contact number to recieve a brochure along side my email address but not my physical address, although the brochure could be a PDF. However, as I suspected I was then rang several times (caller hung up when I answered twice), then when I spoke to someone they went on about getting me a price for the car in question - no mention of the brochure. This breaks GDPR rules and their own privacy policy.

I needed information about charges for driving in London. The Regit site was easy and quick to use and I would certainly use them again when needed.

Useful and unbiased info

Plentiful supply of useful unbiased motor reviews and advice along with interesting articles and news.

I'm no petrolhead but still welcome the regular emails from them. My main interests are changes to the law, highway code and car crime info. Useful heads-ups to help avoid trouble!
