Purchased a Gibson bass on line. Excellent help from Michael whilst acquiring information and negotiating the price.

Purchased at close of business on a Saturday and it arrived Tuesday morning - from the Northwest to Hertfordshire.

I’ve never seen a shop package and a guitar so well. They put extra foam and soft cloths inside the Gibson case and taped down the internal storage box so nothing could escape and scratch the guitar in transit.

Enormous attention to detail for safe and secure shipping.

I usually use Thomann - less so now since Brexit is slowly ruining our economy, has devalued the pound against the euro, and now we have to pay import tax.

I have gone back to using GAK who are an excellent shop; but from now on next time I’m buying anything I’m going to check Reidys first. They have completely won my loyalty.

Customer service and competitive advantage has declined dramatically amongst the major players such as PMT and gear4music, so it’s great to discover a new shop that has OUTSTANDING customer service.

Bought my guitar from Reidys at the lowest on-line price. Guitar ordered on Friday pm and delivered to Central Scotland around lunch-time next day!
Delighted with my purchase and service provided...Reidys rule!!!

I ordered online and the product delivered was in perfect condition and arrived next day without any problem. Good communication. Friendly and helpful staff too. Recommended.

Purchased a guitar from Reidys, easy purchase, price I was happy with, delivery was next day, and i couldnt have been more impressed.
Then when i got home and had a chance to properly inspect the guitar, i was disappointed.
This, admitedly, was purchased from them "in good condtion", as pre-owned, but i wasnt expecting it to be pretty much unplayable. At some point, the nut has been replaced poorly, not high enough, strings buried way below the top of the nut. This means that to stop any buzzing of strings on frets on the first couple of frets, the bridge has to be wound up really high, on its posts, around 10mm above the body, and this is exactly the setup it arrived to me in!...So, yep...no more buzzing frets, but the strings are far too high towards the bridge end, making it unplayable, pretty much.
Yes, pre-owned guitar, but still payed £300 for it, and i honestly would have expected their techs to have looked over their guitars before theyre sent out.
I emailed them...they took a day to respond, they asked me for a phone number so they could get one of their tech guys to call me...that was three days ago now...ive emailed them since...nothing! No reply. Seems that theyre not worried at all now theyve got the money.
Now it looks like i'm going to have to spend more money getting a tech to put this right!
Very VERY disapponted at the communication from their customer service department.

Dispute opened with Paypal, as these guys don't wanna know, once they've got your money!!!

I purchased a brand new Marshall amp from these guys about 6 months ago and recently the amp developed a fault so I decided to make a claim within the warranty period. Reidy’s arranged a swift collection for the item and sent it back to the supplier who said they couldn’t find any fault with it.

Given the benefit of the doubt Reidy’s could see I was a genuine customer and offered me a replacement no questions asked I was really grateful for this as the situation was affecting my guitar playing.

I am glad to say the new amp works perfectly. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely purchase from them again.

Came across these stylish Marshall looking fridge on an advert Amazon we’re advertising them for over £500 out my price range so I accepted that but I had a Google search and one site had it for £280 and said if order was £100 or more free delivery yet it was £10 more then I went back to Google and found it for £270 and that included free delivery provided via DPD I choose Standard delivery and it came the Wednesday and was very I impressed I highly recommend these thank you so much for a quick delivery.

First class service from Ian at Reidys. Fast and helpful advice in replying to emails and next day delivery. Very happy with the violin bow, and the price, which was the lowest I could find online. Highly recommended.

Returned a guitar to the address they provided with proof of posting and signed for, this was received by someone and was signed for - however they could not find it for over a week, they eventually found it and said they would refund me. It has been three weeks and they have still not refunded me (despite saying they had, but the money has not appeared) I have had to open a dispute as at three weeks since returning and yet to have received a refund is rubbish, I'm (wishfully) hoping they'll deal with this and give me my money back as its a lot of money to be out of pocket!!

The purchase and delivery (outwards) was OK, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them based on their customer service and dealing with refunds.

Ordered a guitar from Reidys and it was never delivered,. Had to call them to complaints as they didn't respond to email. Turns out that they'd somehow managed to sell the guitar to someone else. Fair enough theythen cancelled and refunded but after 3 days and only after I'd rung them to enquire what was happening,,, sadly it seems in 100 years (which they boast about 9n their website) they haven't really grasped service or online sales. You're experience may differ, but never again for me, its back to GAK, PMT & Andertons...

Saved up for the best guitar I could afford. I don’t like near a decent guitar shop ,so search online.
I wanted a competitive price and trusted shop. Whilst as was looking to see who had one in stock I was asked by the shop if they could help. From that moment on they were just superb. Communication, price and delivered when stated.
Also I really wanted to support a store in the North.

Not visited Reidy's since the late 80s when I last bought a record there, but remembered the amazing instruments showroom. Long since moved away from the area but visited again a week ago to treat myself to a Fender Jag-Stang guitar, amp and stuff to start me playing. The showroom is a musician's dream. So much to choose from and you get the chance to play before you buy. The staff are superb, knowledgeable and friendly. Just glad I knew what I wanted before I visited, or I'd have been spoiled for choice. Reidy's are now on outskirts of blackburn and have easy, free parking right outside. Perfect distance for carrying all that new stuff!

Placed a order for a Marshall 15 watt amp MG15G-H delivery was quick by dbp polite & helpful man no damage to box after openning everything good inside everything working brilliant sound but then it's a Marshall amp thanks to all at REIDYS HOME OF MUSIC D BLACK
