Came here with my family and all i can say is that it is by far the best hotel i have stayed in. Staff go the extra mile to make your stay better and the rooms have everything one can need. Location is perfect. Can see the canal fron your window. Would choose roommmzz everyday of the week by far!

We just absolutely loved our stay. The staff were great and check in was quick. The room was amazing and spotless and the bed was just so comfortable. The kitchen and the extra space is just
so welcome for any family. Loved the White Company shower gels and the eco friendly LARGE bottles that means less plastic waste in the world. Breakfast is complimentary and we ate in the lounge. Free wifi and all day coffee. We will definitely be back to try another Roomzzz location.

Absolutely loved my stay with the family at Roomzzz Aparthotel - the service was five-star. Large, comfy, spacious apartments and loved the free breakfast. We will be back!

The floor near the kitchen area is dirty.

Welcoming staff, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the penthouse suite and it was both comfortable and luxurious. Attention to detail was great - from the layout and amenities supplied with the room, to feeling "covid secure". Myself and my partner felt roomzzz went above and beyond in the covid secure department.

Highly recommended.

Stayed at Roomzzz York recently for a long wknd away, what an amazing place! Reception hosts were warm and welcoming, our apartment was clean, fully equipped with a kitchen and very spacious. Will give Roomzzz Newcastle a try next!

Staff wasn't consistent in terms of implementing safe covid quarantine protocols. Although I received a one page handout on covid quarantine guidance before arriving, staff were frustrating to work with at times while i was quarantining, at some points arguing with me as to when my last day in quarantine was ('come get your own breakfast now that your quarantine is done'... it wasn't done yet).

Pros:
- Although microwave was not functioning when I arrived, staff was willing to replace it while i waited down the hall in protective gear (as opposed to initially asking me to wait until quarantine was over for anyone to enter my room).
- One front desk staff member was super supportive and helpful (the male with longer hair - Matt?), whereas the other was awful and argumentative (the female - Petra).
- View from window was nice.

Cons:
- items were left in fridge from previous guest when I arrived. Apparently my room had been covid sanitized and had stickers throughout to suggest this, but obviously this was not the case given the items left in the fridge and the state of the floors in the room. Matt from front desk arrived immediately and removed items and sprayed disinfectant, and apologized.
- No towels. Bring your own.
- Leave garbage in room during your quarantine, despite one page handout saying someone would remove if I left it outside the room and called down. I did this and the front desk said they would take care of it but 12 hours later garbage was still sitting outside the room. 24 hours later still sitting outside the room.
- Nobody would knock to let me know they left something outside the room (e.g. breakfast). I would find it hours later when I happened to open the door (how is me having to open the door randomly to check if my items were there quarantine safe???)
- Bed was excruciatingly firm - could not sleep for days. Front desk did not have a feasible solution for me.
- No elevator from parking lot to front lobby. Had to carry 20kg luggage up 25 stairs on my own and fell down twice.

In the end, I checked out on day 16 of what was meant to be a 30 day stay. I was happy to leave.

Location is good, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchenette contained all the essentials to prepare your own meals.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and dealt with any problems/requests with a smile but more importantly with prompt action - you don't always get the two together! My interactions with the staff really elevated my stay at Roomzzz York beyond a "typical" business travel stay.

Overall the hotel looked good and was located in a nice place however the rating drops when i was not told when booking i will be getting a disability room and when i turned up i was issued with one and then when i requested a different room no one got back to me to change my room. So i was in the disability room for 3 months!

Nice rooms, everything bang on to be fair

If the staff hadn’t been so helpful it would have been 1 star. Having stayed in roomzzz before elsewhere I was expecting the stylish/luxurious etc as advertised. It wasn’t, they don’t seem to have a standard across the bored which is a shame because it really is going to put me off future bookings as I won’t be able to say what quality we will be getting. Dated, run down, kitchen units all discoloured, bathroom all marked, tile grout BLACK, TV tiny and OLD. Just not the modern sleek stay I am used to from
Roomzzz. Could literaly hear ever single thing from our floor above and below. Felt less hip home from home more budget hostel. Whole place was shabby.

What an amazing stay we had at the roomzzz in Newcastle. The room was immaculately clean and utterly faultless in every way. Free tea and coffee and a great grab to go breakfast offered also. The only slight issue we had that the air con was stuck on the heating setting however once we spoke to reception they upgraded us to such a beautiful room in turn. Totally minor though in comparison to how brilliant our stay was. Honestly couldn’t fault this hotel, the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the location. An utterly fantastic stay and cannot wait to come again! Thank you again for everything :)

Stayed in Roomzzz Manchester. Very central. Staff helpful. Will definitely stay again.

I had booked a grande apartment to celebrate my boyfriends birthday with a weekend get away in Manchester. Unfortunately he fell very ill during the week leading up to the stay. On Wednesday night I called the hotel to inform them of the situation and that we would not be able to make it on the Saturday. They have the rudest staff I have ever come across in my life and certainly aren't out to welcome guests or offer any acceptable level of customer care. I was told by explicitly by Expedia that they would be able to move the booking Wednesday night they just needed to confirm this with Roomzzz and get back to me. I had booked through Expedia and because of this they weren't interested in helping me in the slightest. A member of their reservations team even told me that if I had booked with them direct she would have moved the reservation but because it wasn't booked direct she wasn't willing to move it - This was on Friday evening, Appalling!!

The worst 'customer service' I have ever received in my life. I strongly advise you to STAY AWAY from this shambolic hotel and spend your money elsewhere. Its a complete waste of time and the STAFF ARE RUDE AND UNHELPFUL!

The best value hotel I've ever stayed in. Simply could not believe it. Only issue was checking out at 11am but that's a nit-pick. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
