This was a cosy calm and super creative experience where I learnt so much. I came away with the most beautiful pot and have gained some new skills too. I would highly recommend doing one of Roxy’s workshops and will be booking again. Thank you Roxy

I loved Roxy’s pinch pot workshop that I attended. It was a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and it was absolutely ok to make a mistake! She explained the process so well and helped us all to fix the things we didn’t like with our own pot. I now have a lovely little bowl to use at home, it was exciting to see the pot in its finished form after it had been fired. I’m looking forward to attending another workshop.

I had a great time at the clay workshop with Roxy. It was such a creative, relaxing, and friendly experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The atmosphere was welcoming, the guidance was excellent, and it was lovely to spend a few hours making something with my hands. I recently attended a clay and carving workshop with Roxy Banks and had such a lovely experience. Roxy created such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived, making everyone feel comfortable regardless of their artistic ability.

The workshop was well organised, creative, and incredibly therapeutic. Roxy was patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about what she does. She explained each stage clearly while still giving us the freedom to be creative and make something unique to take home.

I came away feeling inspired, proud of what I’d created, and with a real sense of accomplishment. It was a wonderful opportunity to switch off from the stresses of everyday life and try something different. I would highly recommend Roxy’s workshops to anyone looking for a fun, mindful, and enjoyable experience. I can’t wait to attend another one!

A welcoming, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable evening to enjoy with friends. It was also nice to meet new people and be creative in a comfortable environment. Roxy fully equips you with all the tools, gentle guidance and inspiration you need to create something special with clay. It was exciting to receive the finished product, I was thrilled with how my pot turned out. I look forward to booking again soon.

We had a lovely evening clay carving with Roxy. She introduced the group, we had a little ice breaker and then she explained the process and set us free with tools and clay! Roxy offered advice and inspiration but was not too prescriptive. The group was welcoming and intimate, we had a lovely corner of the venue all to ourselves and it was a great mindful evening. Can’t wait to see how my pot turns out!!

I recently attended a pinch pottery workshop with Roxy and came away with two pieces I absolutely love, a pinch pot and a small shell form.

As someone completely new to working with clay, I found the whole experience really welcoming. Roxy created a safe, relaxed space that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the process without any pressure.

The session began with a short meditation, focusing on different parts of the body and ending with us holding the ball of clay in our hands. It felt like a thoughtful way to connect with the material before we began shaping it, and it set the tone for the rest of the evening.

We were guided throughout, but there was also plenty of room to experiment and follow our own ideas, which I really appreciated. Support was always there when needed, without ever feeling intrusive.

There was also real attention to detail in how everything was set up. The table was beautifully arranged with some of Roxy’s own work, along with flowers and candles, which gave the evening a warm and intimate feel.

Thank you Roxy for such a considered experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend!
