It’s day 10 of mine and my wife’s quarantine, and my wife has received no results. I have received all of mine.

booked day 2,8 and day5 early release. The packages were delivered in time however the results for each test came after 4 days, in other words day 5 test to release was useless as the results came on day 9th of the quarntine.

The call centre never picks up the call even if you start calling them at 9am. Also they ask for order number when filling out the online query form and the we only recieved the order number for the day 2/8 tests in email, and that email disappeared shortly from my inbox. never heard anything back from them when online query was made.

will never use them again as the results come after 4 days and not the 24hrs service they mentioned on their wesbite. Better to use the onsite services as you know they have got the results and dont leave you in a limbo that what stage are we in the process.

Ordered day 2 / 8 quarantine tests. On the plus side they were delivered quickly.

Downside…..both kits were incomplete and missing one of the ziplock bags referred to in the instructions. RTD customer services were totally unfazed and told me to use ‘any bag’ - hardly laboratory hygiene protocols.

Posted my first test and used a priority post box in good time for that days collection. Three days later I’m still waiting for the result - called three times to chase and unlike some others, they answered quite quickly.

Unfortunately not much help given apart from confirming they’d received my test and it was ‘in the lab’.

I was always asked to quote an ‘RT barcode’ number. This is the set of three barcode stickers supplied with the kit and all are used to label the packages I returned - Perhaps I should have photographed them, however if it’s so important they should have made mention of this on the flakey instructions. They were able to locate my details from my order number.

Overall I’m not impressed - seems like like a business that’s been hastily configured to profit from the short-term Covid testing gold rush and perhsos struggling to cope with the volume of business

I’m taking my day 5 test to release test today - thankfully with another provider. There’s every chance I’ll have that result before my day 2 test!

Pay more and get results not flimsy excuses

I do not recommend this company because I received the results of the day 2 test 11 days later (after I had received the results of the day 8 test!). They get two stars because I did receive the results of the day 8 test two days' afterwards, which is reasonable. I complained about not receiving day 2 test results and they sent me a Google form to complete (i.e. you have to have a google account to complete it). Also, they ask you to return the sample in the box provided, but the box is too large for the prepaid envelope supplied. Sadly, my overall impression was of an overly-ambitious company. These tests are not cheap. They should invest more in improving their basic processes.

My COVID test kits came through in a timely fashion. Shaz in customer services was very helpful, providing a swift resolution to my problem. Sound information and and helpful advice. Thanks.

Dealt with by a gentleman called Shaz ( from Halifax ). To say this man was helpful is an understatement. Absolute professional with a manner that put me so at ease. I’d made what I thought to be a massive mistake with my PCR test, however Shaz allayed any fears, sorted the problem quickly and simply. An absolute credit to the company. If all employees of RT diagnostics are as helpful and as jovial as Shaz, anyone wishing to use RT should do so with supreme confidence.

I have never received my tests. The company didn't try to help at all. Customer service very rude and not helpful. Asked me to take it up.with Royal Mail myself as they were not willing to help! They wouldn't refund me either. No test, no refund- worst business I had to deal with.

While I did receive my day five release test results (after emails and several phone calls), I never received my day 2 or day 8 results and am now on day 15. I would not recommend them. Stay away.

I wanted to say what a helpful man Shaz was today. So helpful and very very professional, he was so patient with me and helped me get my matter resolved.

I registered my Day 2 test on the 29th of June and by the 5th of July I still hadn't received the results.
I spoke to Shaz on the phone however and he dealt with the issue promptly. He was also very nice.

Never replied when I raised a question via email, never sent my test results. Was lured by the cheap price but avoid at all costs.

The 2 and 8 day tests arrived in time, website quite easy to use. The certificates were sent in less than 48 hours and the 8th day test was posted on Saturday and by midnight on Sunday the negative certificate was on my email.

I am giving 4 stars as I tried to ring them and no luck but they did reply to email.

Scam and most alarmingly I received a Negative certificate for a test I didn't submit. Then promises of a refund if I didn't post on social media. Claimed it was IT problem. No refund despite (now obviously fake) refund authorisations being sent. They also misled on their UKAS registration. No reply to endless messages. Failed to deliver day 2 results at all. Set up by two councillors, I believe, which makes it even more shocking.

Have received NO results for day 2 AND day 8 tests despite following all the instructions. Have repeatedly emailed with no response and phone line permanently engaged. If you use this 'company' all you're doing is lining the pockets of some cronies of this appalling government.

Ordered 4 tests (day 2) on 4 June.
All tests arrived late, two tests results arrived too late and the other two - NEVER.
I have been trying to call daily - no one picks up the phone. I have asked for a refund at least in 10 emails - no result either.
I am trying to find a way to report this ‘company’

Total bill £272 – this is obviously on top of tests for fit to fly going out and coming back….
Day 5 tests were key to us as I expect they are for many so we could get out and about? Anyway, day 5 tests done and in a priority post box by 0745 on Day 5 (Tuesday 29th June) my wife got her [negative] result at 2224 on the Wednesday. When I phoned Thursday morning to see where mine were – finally getting through on the phone – I encountered a chap called Shaz. He was frankly rude, obtuse and condescending; blamed a bad line for his inability to listen constantly and told me it was my responsibility to have recorded the “RT” number, constantly interrupted me. I had to spell my name 3 times (it’s not as if it’s tricky) and the system could not find me! Then get this, he asked for a favourable Trust Pilot Review!
There were no tamper proof seals on 3 of the 6 kits and 2 x test tubes in 1.
The website is shockingly bad and not at all intuitive; really struggled to see important data in a clear way.
I note that they have 73% bad rating and frankly I am not surprised.
Avoid!

I ordered a Day 5 test to release that was sent back to RT on Day 5. It’s now Day 8 and I’ve had no results, which has messed up any plans I might have had. This company is a complete scam and should not be on the government’s list of test providers!

After realizing this company was a scam, I went with another company to do my testing. The funny thing is that even though I paid for a day 2/8 test from RT Diagnostics and never posted the tests, I still got negative results for all 3 members of my household from RT. It is so strange how I (and my family) can be negative when I never even posted covid tests to them. Not only are they scamming people, but they publish fraudulent results.

Let's start with some facts

This is the cheapest test available and you will EVENTUALLY get results.
Anyone sending off a day 5 via post, you waste a day in the post and a day or so for response, so I'd avoid this company. Doing one in person makes much more sense.

My day 2 result arrived 36hours after posting. I was impressed
My day 8 result arrived 5.5 days after posting.

I don't really mind when the results come for these, they just need to be done, so it was cheap and I got results.
Yes, not within the time period but it didn't affect me as I paid for test to release elsewhere, as I don't see the point to do test to release via post.

I had several other friends who also got results at varying time from 5 days to 2 days, but they all EVENTUALLY got the results.

This is probably the most well-deserved rating for this company. I did receive the kits on-time (as I ordered them before my departure), and when I came back, I did the test, posted the Day 2 test and the results within 36 (and not 24 as it is "guaranteed") from the time that they received the sample.
Yet, the Day 8 one was never processed, despite arriving in their labs on time. Needless to say that they never responded to my e-mails or phone-calls. As a result I did file a chargeback with my bank and I did contact NHS who offered alternatives. Terribly disappointing.
