First Aid with Forest- easy to organise…
First Aid with Forest- easy to organise the course, fantastic communication and even put a course on for a Saturday as week days we're impossible for us. The course itself was very informative and interesting and constructive, the tutor was very accommodating and professional, and very knowledgeable. His teaching methods were exceptional and facilities were excellent. Feel confident in case of any emergencies that may occur now. Highly recommended and will definitely go back to keep the first aid current. Thank you for such a positive experience at very short notice.

The course was felt to be way too long
The course was felt to be way too long. The trainer kept telling stories about situations that have happened. I think this was to be illustrative but it was not and just felt like a waste of time. Without all this chat, the course length would have been half the time!!!

Hello Steve,
We are sorry your staff members felt the duration of this course was too long. A 3-day First Aid at work times are set by the HSE and this is a minimum contact time of 18 hours over 3 days, Which our courses are 09:30am until 16:30pm.
Looking back at the staff’s evaluation forms, there is no indication of any issues, or we could have resolved this. Having checked all delegates evaluation forms for this particular course we feel that in the majority the course was found enjoyable.
The stories are there to highlight how things can rapidly go wrong and how first aid can buy time until help arrives.
We know the course contents can seem repetitive over the 3 days, however this is to ensure our trainers can invigilate the delegates over the practical elements that are required to be taught and this goes for all training providers delivering first aid.
First Aid Training
