Pretty bad experience, after the contract finishes and you have leave the storage box empty, they ask you for fees, so you end up paying those hidden fees

I have had a very positive experience using Safestore. The storage facilities are clean, secure, and well managed, but what really stands out is the excellent customer service.

The staff are always friendly, professional, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to help. I recently had difficulty arranging a removal date. My storage contract renews monthly, and if I missed the renewal date by just a few days, I would have been charged for the entire following month.

I explained my situation to one of the team members. She immediately spoke with her senior colleague and called me back shortly afterwards with a solution. Instead of having to pay for another full month, they arranged for me to extend my contract by just one week, which was exactly what I needed.

This was a thoughtful and customer-focused approach that saved me unnecessary expense. I really appreciate the effort the team made to help me. Thank you to everyone at Safestore for providing such outstanding service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable storage company.

I booked a space and paid for it, but never used it. I have filled a cancelation form, almost immediately after paying, as I no longer needed the space.

I made my initial booking on the 24 April, but its nearly a month now, and I am still waiting for my refund. I keep being told that my refund will take place on a Thursday - this was two Thursdays ago.

As for the manager of the store, I never heard back from, they wouldn't speak to me directly and they wouldn't reply to my emails.

This is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and have not been handled with the professionalism a company like this should have.

Overall my case is giving a bad name to the company as it speak of their inadequacy to handle such a simple request. And I am still waiting...

Great understanding of previous booking three years ago. Very mannerly. Dry quick. Very helpful.

Sam answered the phone promptly, had access to my customer details and asked all the relevant questions to give me a quote over the phone. I was able to arrange storage quickly and without difficulty.
