Beware of them raising prices without any notice so you have the option to cancel. With no notice mine has increased by £40 a month. Once stuff is out will never use again or recomend

I can't recommend Sean at SafeStore Brislington highly enough!

From the moment I spoke to him on the phone, he went above and beyond to help me. He took the time to understand my situation, answered all of my questions without rushing, and made sure I had all the information I needed—even providing contacts for trusted man-and-van services to make my move easier.

Sean was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to. It felt like I was speaking to someone who truly cared about helping rather than just doing a job. That level of customer service is rare these days, and it made a stressful situation so much easier.

If you're considering storage or simply want honest advice and outstanding customer support, I would highly recommend speaking to Sean. He'll make sure you get the right support and will go the extra mile to help in any way he can.

Safe storage is unethical!
It’s a long weekend, I’ve stored my work there for the weekend.
I checked to make sure they would be open.
I went to collect my work for the long weekend.
There is a notice that they are closed for the long weekend.
What about my work????
That’s my salary going down the drain.
Shocking!!!!!
Nobody cares!!!

Got a quote online on a Sunday evening & made a reservation. Within 15 mins Safestore are on the phone telling me that I needed insurance to complete the quote. Quote goes from £21.07pw inc Vat for a long term hire online without insurance, to over the £47pw including 8K basic insurance over the phone.

When I challenged this I'm told that "we don't really have any rooms on the ground floor" so its more expensive! When I asked what the actual storage space costs I'm quoted a figure of £33 & pushed to complete. What utter nonsense!

I then get the speel about price matching etc, etc & pushed to complete.

I explained to the safestore employee politely that I was very uncomfortable with the conversation & I wanted to end it.

Overall felt pressured, & thought the telephone call was an exercise in how much money they could exploit from my business.

Looking at the reviews on Trustpilot it seems Safestore do like a surprise charge the users of their facilities!

Hi WARNING everyone do NOT ever TRUST this storage unit. They are a scam!! First they lie and scam you in to getting a fix rate low storage unit, but then they put the rates up, and take advantage once you have your belonging already in the dam unit. It is all a lie and a scam they over charge over £100s and make false lies to offer you fix low rates. Do not ever trust Safestore they say they are the cheapest but that is just a big fat lie! They have been scamming and taking advantage of my belonging being as i do not live local and it is not possible for me to keep travelling
miles to have my belonging taken out from there unit they deliberately take advantage and over charge. Then send you an email explaining there pathetic excuses for why they over charged me. Every month scamming and taking advantage. Ripping people off. There excuse was oh you did not tell us what you wanted to do, when they knew i wanted a long term contract which they promised a low rate fix rate. I made sure they confirmed that the rates will not change and will have fix rate for the period of years i would need to have my belonging in this storage but it was a lie. And the women tells me she is sorry if i was wrongly advised being as originally they rip people off!!!! So basically she tell me they initially trap people to convince them to take a unit then over charge! Do not ever trust this company it is one of the worst company to trust. Everyday they will give your there nonsense, load of crap stories, which a load of trash for excuses to overcharge you. Trust me Cheaper to rent a room then a unit. Even a garage is better 100 times cheaper and trust worthy. Twice now over charged me and not refunding my money back!

I would highly recommend Safestore. Not matter how much planning I do, moving always seems to be quite stressful but having spoken to Danny Carlyton, he made the whole process of arranging storage stress-free, he was extremely efficient but patient in taking the time to answer all of my questions. Thanks Danny!
