Very unprofessional. They don't answer phone calls, the paperwork process is chaotic, and they charge extra fees even when you're proactively trying to resolve payment issues.

BEWARE!! Safestore have no ethical

Housing disparities or unexpected unpredictable financial hardship .Unlike other storage services who
Provide payment plans and exercise ethical consideration to individuals which I wish I would of opted for if I had the time and was under less pressure and stress at the time , Safestore do not provide any payment plans and automatically involve debt collectors who demand full payment with threats of court / legal action . In addition to this,some storage units have large concrete blocks located at the back of the unit minimising the storage space and the fees for a unit are not fixed within a contract. The storage fee you are initially charged for increases the longer your belongings are stored with them for the same sized storage unit which is a modern-day TRICK & TRAP / PLAN & SCAM policy. If anyone needs to store their belongings with an ethical storage facility , please DO NOT use Safestore -they are very misleading highly unethical and dangerous!

I recently worked with Ben to arrange a storage unit for our client, and I wanted to share how positive the experience was. Ben was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and made the entire process seamless. He went above and beyond to assist us with an unusual situation -I’d highly recommend! Easy process with belongings kept secure.

I have been using a Safestore Earls Court storage unit since last autumn. It’s always a pleasure to deal with Wael and Masuma. They are genuinely kind, considerate, and very professional in all matters.

Company never returns your calls puts you on hold for 25 minutes than hangs up which apparently is acceptable.
After making 4 calls with numerous promises of a return to sort out account issue wasted probably an hour of my time which apparently is my choice to call being the client I will invoice for loss of time and calls which I was informed you can try …Sh@tstore would be more appropriate

Complaint against safe store Earl’s Court London

Stay AWAY from this place extremely dangerous a lady named ROSE tried to close me and two movers inside the storage unit and she refused to show me the way. I did a police report.Threatened to throw my things on the street AFTER I paid a high fee for the storage unit. Refused to make me feel safe in the storage place and show me extreme attitude, touched my belongings after I told her not to touch my things and took off with them, treated male clients nice but me in a suspicious way. Started shouting she will leave at 6 pm or my things will be on the street Harrassing me. The lyft was broken and I was scared from my life I would be trapped inside. Two other movers witnessed this and she needs to be fired immediately from her disgusting unsafe suspicious behaviors. I don’t feel safe with my perosnal belongings here and I suggest you don’t store your things here.
Disgusting I will get all my money back and report this to the police.

This moving company Moveroo which the employee rose recommended left my personal belongings on the side of the street unattended which could be stolen for 20 minutes and the movers failed to put my things in the storage unit and took off.

Don’t trust these people a police report has been done!

Highly recommend this place. The facilities are ran by a gentlemen named Ike. He’d make his namesake General Eisenhower proud. Very sharp, professional and hard working guy.

I was on a tight moving schedule. Ike helped set things for me up in no time and stayed almost 3 hours longer beyond their regular closing time on Saturday to accommodate us taking on the storage.

Ike’s a legend. Safestore is lucky to have facilities managed by people like Ike. I have a feeling Ike may run Safestore one day. Provided the company can manage to hold on to talent of his calibre!

Storage is great too. Well equipped and easy to access with lifts, storage and loading bay all in top condition.

This is my first review. I've been with the company 12 years - 11 years with the same storage facility in Earl's Court. I've probably taken around 50 storage units in that time, as well as encouraging some of my own clients to take storage space. I even looked after the office once years ago! I'm now just old enough to be the dad of some of the guys that work there. The guys that I met this time were great - clearly intelligent, professional, kind, and charitable. It's a tough job on some days, so I wanted to write this review to encourage them.

I talked to 2 consultant on the phone (from Earl's Court and Battersea branches) and they wer super helpful. They could provide me the exact plan that I needed, while being very kind. I would definitely recommend it to others.
