Checked various internet outlets for…

Checked various internet outlets for this rigging component. Sailingfast had the best availability and sensible delivery charge. Some other popular outlets had ridiculous hidden postage cost.

The ordering and shipping experience…

The ordering and shipping experience was straightforward and speedy. However, the Ovi White gelcoat doesn't perfectly match my Ovi ILCA's color, appearing slightly grey, though not as grey as the newer models.

Hi Douglas, thanks for the review. Gelcoat match is a tricky one. Boats discolour over time through UV and other environmental factors which means a perfect colour match is unlikely, but will be close.

Prompt delivery every time

Prompt delivery every time! Placed an order on Sunday, and it was in my hands by Tuesday, even with 2nd class shipping. The part was offered at the most competitive price, and their communication was excellent throughout. I wholeheartedly endorse them!

Gelcoat colour match poor

Order process and delivery process was simple and quick. Unfortunately the Ovi White gelcoat is not a good colour match with my Ovi ILCA, being a slight grey colour but not as grey as the more recent built boats.

Hi John, I'm sorry you are disappointed with your gelcoat. I have sent you an email asking for photos and to be honest your sail number would be helpful, so we can establish if you have ordered (and been sent!) the correct gelcoat.

Very pleased with the service found…

Very pleased with the service found what i was looking for onl8ne and ordered. It followed up with delivery note and receipt prompt which was good so not to chase it up.
