Always a great service and vibe. Jack continues to take great care of us when we eat or just come for drinks. Highly recommend this place

While there were some enjoyable aspects of the meal, there were also several issues that left us disappointed.

To start, we waited over an hour for our starters and a further 45 minutes for our mains. When we asked about the delay, we were told it was due to a large party, but it would have been helpful to have been informed of this at the beginning of our visit.

Regarding the food:

The lamb kofta starters and halloumi were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

However, we ordered one gluten-free prawn cocktail, and there was confusion when it arrived as the staff wasn’t sure if it was gluten-free. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for a missing prawn cocktail, which unfortunately arrived almost frozen. While we appreciate that this was removed from the bill, it was disappointing nonetheless.

For the mains, the macaroni cheese was excessively oily, and both the burgers were burnt, which detracted from the overall experience.

While I understand that the kitchen may have been under pressure due to the large party, the quality of the food and the length of the delays fell short of expectations. I do appreciate the gesture of removing the problematic prawn cocktail from the bill, and the starters were a highlight of the meal.

Awful. My husband had garlic bread to start with which ended up being a ciabata roll with a few herbs on top no garlic. I ordered maccaroni cheese when it came out it was a tiny portion.

We waited 45 minutes for our main course woth no explanation and to why it was taking so long just sorry for the wait. My garlic bread was the same woth my main course.

This was at 4.45pm on Saturday so not a busy time. Not worth the money at all and very disappointed. I ended up hungry.

Great Sunday lunch and served by the best staff member Mandy, who was excellent.
One small little thing which annoys me and it’s not just this restaurant but 90 % of others . Can I suggest when taking the orders from everyone please ask if people want horseradish, mustard. apple sauce etc at the same time and bring them out before the food is served . There were 9 of us on Sunday the food came out two at a time (mine was actually one of the first ) I then waited whilst the other 7 meals were served . That’s when the waiter asked if anyone wanted sauces? He went off bought the apple sauce , them 5 mins later bought the mustard and finally the horseradish sauce. So by the time we had all waited for the horseradish mine and others were almost cold . Just a tip guys I just think it would be helpful and stop grumpy gits like me moaning

Went here yesterday for lunch and it was amazing. I had half a chicken with chips and veg, it was the best chicken I've had! My partner has a mixed grill but that didn't agree on his stomach so he's a bit poorly today ☹️ I would definitely go again!
