I recently completed a scuba diving Open Water course, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The scuba guru team went out of their way to accommodate me during the offseason just before my first diving trip. Mike and rob were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about diving. They took the time to explain each concept clearly, from basic equipment use to important safety procedures. Highly recommend this team for those that want to start their diving journey.

Great experience overall and great instructors with the scuba guru team. I would highly recommend this course too anyone. Mike and his team were highly knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything and anything thats involved with scuba. These are 100% the people you want to teach you the ins and outs of diving

My son is 13 years old and had a great time in the pool session. The scuba guru team is wonderful - super informative, patient, and encouraging. They went through every step thoroughly to make sure my son fully got it. Five star for sure!!

Mike and Rob are the best scuba instructors!! I struggled with the mask removal exercise and actually walked out of my first pool lesson. Mike was very accommodating rescheduling with me and I had a private lesson with Mike and Rob, who coached me through the skill with kindness, empathy, and patience. I was able to do the skill as well as the mask removal+swim at depth skill with no trouble at all the second time around! Mike doesn’t let you take any shortcuts and he really knows his stuff- I know I’ll be a great and safe scuba diver by the time I complete my certification. I highly highly recommend scuba guru!

I say enough about the Scuba Guru team from start to finish. I took the open water class with them then did the advanced scuba certification classes. Their attention to detail is amazing focusing on each student one at a time with their deliberately small classes. I even dove around the world with them: Egypts Red Sea, Thailand, Micronesia’s WWII wrecks, Bali Indonesia and I now I am going to dive in the Philippines with them. If you want to learn scuba diving, Scuba Guru is the clear choice.

The scuba guru team was awesome! They are here for you and will do anything in their power to help you along the process. They were able to answer all my questions and work at my pace. I would highly recommend this team. They provide a positive and fun experience!

I did my open water and Advanced certification with Scuba Guru, I should say that it has been terrific experience. All the tips and techniques are taught professionally in a very structured fashion. The one thing i loved about the Scuba Guru team is that the safety is primordial and they ensure that you are ready and comfortable for deep dives before the dive. The ratio of students vs dive master is perfect, we were 4 students and it was 3-4 dive masters with us in most of my sessions and The whole team is very passionate about diving. I originally was certified in 1998 with my father through NAUI. After finally doing my first scuba diving in Jamaica I immediately fell in love with the sport, and decided to search for an advanced certification program, as I wanted to dive deeper. I happen to finally come across Scuba guru.org. When I first met Michael, the owner, and his team I was immediately impressed with the structure of his facility, and the professionalism of the staff.
I felt very comfortable with him and his team and I signed up for their courses right away ,which I was able to complete fairly fast as I had some training prior to meeting them. I then began to admire the way him and his staff taught their students so I decided that possibly I would want to become an instructor of myself. I became Mike’s right hand man for helping with the students with hands-on instruction for a few years. During this time, I did many studies in scuba courses and climbed the ladder all the way up to assistant instructor. At that point I flew to Florida to get my full OWSI PADI instructor certification. The best thing about Scuba Guru’s classes are that they only schedules a certain number of students in the course at one time this way they have the full ability to put 100% into each student so that everyone can learn at their own pace without being rushed. Most of the other Scuba organizations in the country will put as many students as possible in one class to maximize revenue. So if you’re looking for an organization, that’s very semi private where attention to detail, communication, and patience is there key aspects then Scuba Guru is the right fit for you.
One last thing I’d like to mention, Scuba Guru is an awesome organization they puts together the most exotic in the world diving trips and locations that most people will never travel to. So each year since I’ve known them I traveled to a new country and have had the chance to see the world.
I’m an individual who loves memories more than material so scuba diving is the best sport in the world to learn if you want to see and travel the world and have memories of a lifetime. Thank you Scuba Guru for all your expertise and for showing me the 🌎

I got my open water certification to become a diver through Scuba Guru about ten years ago, and later became a Dive Master and have been working with Scuba Guru ever since then to help others learn to dive. I have also been on several diving trips around the world with Scuba Guru over the years, including the Red Sea in Egypt, Truck Lagoon in Micronesia, Guam, and Bali, Indonesia. Scuba Guru opened my eyes to the wonderful world of scuba diving and helped me become the safe, adventurous diver that I am today. I recommend Scuba Guru for anyone who wants to learn to dive or to improve their diving skills.

Mike is great! He helps your get the skills quick and will work with you if your having trouble. Classes are small and informative, and the quarry is beautiful. I did the advanced and rescue classes, so glad I did. It helped me get really good at diving and I learned so much each time. Thanks again Mike!

Scubaguru team is great. I was certified years ago and havent been diving in quite some time so I decided to take the course. Excellent training. Learned more than I did the first time I was certified. Will be taking the advanced class.
