Unfortunately, the Sebago we once knew is dead.

I am 60 years old and have been wearing Sebago shoes since I was 14. Since the American Sebago was sold to the Italian company BasicNet, the quality of the brand’s products has literally collapsed.

The sizing has changed, the quality of the leather has nothing to do with what it used to be, and whereas they were once among the most comfortable shoes you could find on the market, now they are torture to wear. Your feet end up covered in sores.

This acquisition was essentially a form of suicide for the brand. What a shame.

Habe ein fehlerhaftes paar loafer (280€!) erhalten. Habe Fotos gesendet etc. Habe angeboten, bei realistischem Rabatt das Paar zu behalten. Bieten keinerlei Rabatte an- werden das Paar wahrscheinlich Schrotten, sobald es zurÃŒck bei ihnen ist?! Finde ich besonders bei so einer Firma extrem enttÀuschend und wirklich peinlich. Muss auch sagen, dass der klassische dan in Burgundy, weiteres Paar, das ich bestellt hatte, sehr sehr gÃŒnstig aussah (250€!). Schade

Very poor customer service – still no order after more than two weeks

I placed an order on sebago.com on 27 February. More than two weeks later the order is still showing “waiting to be processed” and has not even been shipped.

During this time I have contacted customer service multiple times through their support form and by email, but received no meaningful response. The only reply I received was an automated message saying the case would be transferred to a human agent, but no one ever followed up.

I even contacted a Sebago distributor (Trendmark), who kindly tried to escalate the issue internally to the sebago.com team. Unfortunately, even after that escalation there has still been no response from Sebago.

This is extremely disappointing for a brand with Sebago’s reputation. Customers should not have to chase a company for weeks just to get an order that has already been paid for.

At this point the experience has been frustrating and a huge waste of time. I hope Sebago improves their customer service because this level of support is unacceptable.

Ho acquistato un paio di EASTON SUEDE GYW TANK
DK BROWN. Pelle di qualità. Ma la qualità costruttiva con inserti rigidi in punta e sul tallone la rendono una scarpa veramente scomoda e dura nonostante un uso prolungato. Rapporto qualità prezzo non allineata. A parità di prezzo si trovano scarpe artigianali di ben altro livello costruttivo.

Zero Assistance for Stolen Package

My package was stolen because of Fedex negligence and Sebago customer service will not help in any way.

If you do some research, there are no Sebago headquarters anywhere --- you can't leave reviews on their website. I imagine this is a situation where private equity has once again ruined a brand. If you try on a pair at a store and you like them, buy them! Don't buy online, however.

I, personally, will never give them another dime.

Servizio clienti imbarazzante

Ordino un paio di scarpe Sebago: arrivate in due giorni, belle
 finché non noto che hanno due lacci completamente diversi. Neanche un piccolo difetto, proprio due scarpe con stringhe che non c’entrano nulla l’una con l’altra.

Scrivo al servizio clienti con foto. Prima ammettono l’errore, poi cambiano idea e mi dicono che “va bene così” e che, se voglio dei lacci uguali, me li devo comprare io.
Un comportamento che definire incoerente Ú poco.

La parte surreale?
Pur di non inviarmi un paio di stringhe identiche (parliamo di un costo irrisorio e di un problema causato da loro), mi mandano direttamente l’etichetta per il reso completo. Come se spedire due lacci fosse un’impresa titanica.

Chiedo un’ultima volta una soluzione sensata, ma la risposta Ú stata il silenzio totale.
Nessuna spiegazione, nessuna scusa, niente: spariti nel nulla.

Per un marchio che pretende di essere premium, un servizio clienti simile Ú imbarazzante.
Le scarpe saranno anche belle, ma il trattamento ricevuto Ú stato talmente assurdo che fa passare qualsiasi entusiasmo.
Difficile immaginare di acquistare di nuovo dopo un’esperienza così.

Marque premium n'est plus ! Qualité en baisse.

FidÚle à la marque depuis les années 80, je suis déçu de la qualité actuelle des mocassins 7001GW0 DAN PO REGULAR Black MOCASSIN.
Quand vous marchez dans la rue alors qui pleut, l'eau rentre dans la chaussure en passant entre la semelle et le cuir !
La qualité n'est pas à la hauteur de la marque et du prix demandé.

Mail de la réclamation pour se faire rembourser de suite

Je vois que j’ai vécu la même mésaventure que tout le monde ici débité et annulation de la commande je les ai contacté. La personne du service client désagréable et de mauvaise foi elle me dit que c’est rupture partout même en boutique le jour même je les ai trouvé dans 2 corners Printemps
Du coup j’ai envoyé un mail et surprise j’ai eu 3 mails de prise en charge et un mail indiquant que j’ai été remboursé !

Je vous mets en demeure de rembourser la commande n°de référence 731251W réglée par carte bancaire, et annulée par vos services sans remboursement.

Base légale : article L.216-3 du Code de la consommation (remboursement sous 14 jours à compter de la résolution, puis majoration au taux légal en cas de retard).

Exigence :

Remboursement intégral : 239€.
Délai : 14 jours à réception de ce courriel.
Mode : recrédit sur le moyen de paiement initial.

Merci de confirmer par écrit la prise en compte et la date de remboursement. À défaut, j’engagerai une contestation de paiement auprÚs de ma banque et un signalement à la DGCCRF .

Je vérifie lundi si j’ai bien recu le remboursement

I tried to order a pair of shoes


I tried to order a pair of shoes online. There was only 1 pair left in the size that I wanted, so I wanted to go ahead and purchase them because my size is difficult to find. After 3 attempts of trying to use my credit card (which I use all the time with no problem on other websites), and each time the website declining the charge saying that the card information could not be confirmed, I went to my credit card company's website and confirmed that not only had the charges gone through, but they were actually also reversed simultaneously, so that there were a total of 6 transactions. Fortunately that would result in a net of $0 (hopefully), and my credit card company confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my account or my card, and that there had to be something wrong with the vendor's website causing the problem. I was able to use the card on Amazon within a minute with no problem, confirming that it is almost 100% certain to be a Sebago website glitch. Considering my credit card company is Capital One, it's not like it is some small company that does not know what they are doing.

Of course Sebago has no customer service contact phone number. They have no online chat. Communication is by email only.

The essence of this complaint is that instead of providing customer service and a completed transaction, it has created a hassle for me. Multiple transactions on my credit card, that now I have to be careful about tracking to make sure there is no net charge, and I could not complete the purchase. Their website is trash

mocassino sebago donna classico... conosco la ditta per la qualità dei prodotti ma purtroppo mi devo ricredere... dopo qualche mese dall acquisto mia figlia ha riscontrato le suole dei suoi mocassini consumate in maniera esagerata con addirittura un paio di buchi... mi Ú stato riferito dal negozio che ciò Ú dovuto all'alta qualità(!!!!) e bisognava mettere una soletta protettiva... cosa che al momento dell 'acquisto NON Ú stata assolutamente detta... visto il prezzo avremmo sicuramente provveduto... mi dispiace perché sebago per me era un ottimo brand ma a questo punto mi devo ricredere.... almeno una assistenza in negozio più costruttiva invece che dirmi che se Ú una questione di suola era tutto normale e che i produttori ne erano già a conoscenza... farò fare le suole a spese mie ma non credo che acquisterò più alcun prodotto sebago...

i ORDERED A CAMEL DAN ROUGHOUT FOR WOMEN BUT RECEIVED A BEIGE CAMEL WHICH IS VERY LIGHT ALMOST WHITE NOT BROWN. tHEY WERE NOT HELPFUL AND SAID I DID GET THE CORRECT COLOR. IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT IT IS NOT THE CORRECT COLOR. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN I WILL STAY WITH SPERRY WHICH I HAVE BEEN BUYING FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS, AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.

Sebago wickelt die VerkÀufe Ìber einen externen Dienstleister ab! Dieser interessiert sich aber nicht fÌr RÌckerstattungen !
