I spoke to Laura in December 2025, and she picked up the case that was already started, but was incredibly thorough with
understanding our case. She then provided feedback of what what we needed to do for next steps. She rewrote sections B and F of my sons EHCP from professional reports that were obtained. This was agreed all by the local authority and the our case never went to tribunal, and we won a special needs secondary school placement of our choice. There were times that I felt anxious about the case and Laura was great and put my mind ease, and was always really professional with the local authority. Laura is quick with responding to all requests, emails and always listens to your thoughts. I cannot thank her enough for helping us and taking all the stress out of it for me!

The EHC plan process is stressful, complicated and daunting and despite my husband and I considering ourselves fairly well educated, we didn’t have the understanding or knowledge of the law or the requirements of the process to support our EHCP appeal. Sara really helped us understand the law and Local Authority (LA) approach and what we could expect and expertly guided us through the appeal.

As Sara explained to us might happen, in the end the LA conceded 10 days prior to our court date, thereby keeping a year of funding which should have been allocated to my child and wasting a year of my child’s educational support. But without Sara we doubt we would have carried on to this point. Sara supported us in meetings both with our school and the LA, which was invaluable.
