The only regret is not getting fitted sooner!
I was fitted for Driver, 3 wood and recovery club just over a month ago. The experience of the fitting was really good and better than I could have imagined. I have played over 15 rounds since receiving the clubs and I can honestly say that they are amazing. Without doubt I am finding more fairways, they are more forgiving and not being the longest of hitters, I now have the confidence to chase up par 5âs in 2 which I have never done before. My previous woods had been âfittedâ at a demo day, the experience at SGGT is a fitting so donât be fooled by any fitting days etc. You pay for what you get and I wish I had done the right thing and been fitted years ago.

Had a driver shaft fitting with Ross Leeds and again the experience was 1st class , Rods tried an array of shafts till we found the one the suited me best and gave me a few yards extra which is always nice , they are definitely the best club fitters in Scotland

Out of pocket
Firstly to be absolutely fair and balanced, after the clubs not working for me, they got me back in and the second fitter (a different one from the first time) completely changed the shaft in the clubs, also did that out of hours on a Friday night, excellent service, no issues with that. But after spending over a £1000 for clubs, and been put into different shafts (so the first fitter got it wrong?) Iâm no further forward. My game has gone backwards, hitting them 10 times worse than my original clubs. Such a disappointment âexperienceâ. Never again. I would say to anyone, please donât expect a âtour player level experienceâ itâs not. Iâm now stuck with clubs that donât suit me, after spending £1100. I will now need to go elsewhere, trade these clubs in, and loose hundreds of pounds.

What a great experience my wife and I had. Spent 2 days going through our bags with James and Scott and the rest of the team. We really liked the time the team spent getting things right. It's all about getting the right clubs for you no matter your capability. We have both had fittings before, which were brand focused TBH and nothing like the experience we had a SGGT. A very enjoyable experience
I have recently worked with James on a full bag fitting. We started with the top of the bag and James took great care to find the right driver shaft and head for me. Once we had cracked that a fairway wood and hybrid followed. At our next session we worked on the irons and finally the wedges. I was very impressed with James's knowledge and enthusiasm. The goal was to allow me more consistency and a better ball flight and I have noticed a marked improvement since taking delivery of my new clubs. The set up at the centre is first class. I found the process very informative and enjoyable and James was happy to meet me again after delivery to check all was well.

Very relaxing facility which for a first time fitting can always have the fear of being nervous and getting a dose of the shanks - but honestly staff were lovely, chatted away about personal life kept you swinging easy and you just hit balls while they did the hard work of finding the right sticks for you.
