Awful!
I ordered a yard master shed and was told the delivery would be up to 5 days. 5 weeks later still no shed!!
After contacting them the shed arrived a week later! The instructions are ridiculous! The illustrations and print is sub standard to say the least! Managed to erect the roof to the specifications and the base and walls fitted. When I put the roof on it didn’t fit!! After contacting them they refused to refund and the manufacture stating I had built it wrong!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

CAVEAT EMPTOR..... SHEDS FIRST

I paid £525.35 for a metal 7'x6' shed (with no floor supplied) and I was later looking on the web for a shelf unit to fit the shed, and find Sheds First have charged £215 over the RRP for this item, with many shed suppliers offering around £309 delivered for the same item.
I challenged the price (by email) to Sheds First, and they quickly offered me £125.35 to redress the matter, which in my view is their admission of over-pricing

I then asked Sheds First to increase this redress offer to £145 -£150 ( as it was a little low from the RRP I had found ) and they tell me today they have now 'withdrawn it' and advising " I should haved 'researched better' before buying from them"....so I need to warn the buying public to please follow Sheds First's advice, and check out the competition before buying from them, as the saving will be huge.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE - Avoid these muppets!
I purchased a shed on 20th June with a confirmed delivery date of 11th July.
This was the day I was moving in to my new home and so I needed the shed to put all my belongings in. I also had arranged for helpers to put the shed up for me.
On the afternoon of the 11th, I called Sheds first as I had not heard from them, only to be told the shed wasn’t going to be delivered on this day now due to staff shortages. Being understanding to the situation I accepted their apology and we rearranged delivery for Friday 15th. My belongings we’re outside on the garden but it’s only 5 days
 it’ll be fine!
Accept come Friday the 15th, I again had to phone Sheds first to see when my shed was being delivered only to be told yet again they were not coming!
They could not offer me any confirmed delivery date so asking what my options were, they said I could cancel and a full refund would be given. I agreed to this.
However, after speaking to them on 21st July I was informed they had only processed my refund on the 20th
. And it will take a further 3-5 working days before I see my
Money. It turns out the same girl that answers the phone for sales, is your customer service advisor and your sales manager! All she does is say the same things to you ‘I completely understand and I apologise’ but she does nothing else. She was off sick and therefore no one else is there to do her work so you just get left.
No compensation offered - in fact it was bluntly refused, so they had my money for a month and left me with no shed and all my belongings out in the open for all that time and yet offer no compensation or anything as a gesture of good will.
To finish off - she cut the conversation short told me we were going round in circles and I’m not getting anything from them.

So if you want to experience terrible customer service, have a lump of your money go into a black hole for a while, then carry on order through Sheds First - good luck!

This is that bad i dont know where to start.
I spent over £2000 on a 14-6 security shed with base.
I ordered the shed to be delivered on the 8th July.
Shedsfirst contacted me asking if i could take delivery on the 27th June to which i agreed. When the shed had not been delivered by the afternoon i rang shedsfirst to be told it was not being delivered on that day but was coming on the 8th. Being disabled i had arranged for 2 workers to erect the shed who i had to send home. On the 6th July i recieved a phonecall from Bedford sheds saying that he was building the shed that day and wanted to know the locations of the windows.We were then told the shed would be delivered the day after the 7th July. When the shed did arrive late afternoon it was obvious it had been made with fresh pine which had not been treated in anyway. The base which cost me over £400 had no spikes fitted to enable it to be fixed to the soft ground. There was no instuctions on how to build the shed. I paid extra money for the floor and roof to be made from 12mm tongue and groove but they were made from fibreboard..On erecting the shed the two doors can not be fitted because the frame is not square.
The shed is not useable.
The two experianced shed erectors said that it was one of the worst builds they had come across. It had been made from the cheapest materials available and was not the shed i had paid over £2000 for.
They have gone away unable to complete the shed because of the so many problems they encountered.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTACES BUY A SHED FROM SHEDSFIRST.

Further issues from previous review


This is an update to my previous review as I've noticed some further issues with the garden office I bought and had installed that raise very serious questions about the company's attitude to standards of workmanship and quality control.

There are 2 side panels, the front on the left wall and rear on the right wall where the top of the panel is clearly damaged and missing part of the panel. There is also damage, though not as extensive, to one of the front wall panels As a result of this there are significant sections of the area where the roof attaches / sits on the walls where there is a very significant gap which shouldn't be there. In addition to these panels there are ones on the front where the roof is not "sealing" against the wall panels. There are instances where we have screws that are supposed to be attaching the roof to the walls at the front completely missing the wall altogether and hence not attaching the roof to the wall.

This is supposed to be a premium installed INSULATED garden office that I have been charged £15,000 for but it has been built shoddily using damaged panels and poor install workmanship leaving huge gaps meaning it will definitely not function as such. This is all in addition to the issues with doors that I have already raised with ShedsFirst and am waiting to get resolved.

The installers must have seen there was damage to these wall units but just carried on and installed the roof to them anyway, no doubt hoping the I wouldn't notice. Its just wrong and unacceptable.

Easy process from order to delivery

Easy process for ordering to delivery. All questions prior to ordering were answered by Hannah. Was a little unsure due to some reviews but all went very smoothly . Phone call prior giving me a delivery date and a delivery window. On the day had a text message giving me an hour window and a phone call when there were a short distance away. Actual product exactly as described. Easy assembly.

My Shed was delivered rotten


My Shed was delivered with rotten panels. I have provided photos, and initially asked by customer service if i have treated it?? what - this is a NEW shed, it should not be rotten. Customer Service have ignored my last attempts at contact to resolve this issue. DO NOT BUY a shed from them. Quality is poor and to top it off, the floor is so flimsy it has also cracked - it was the same thickness as the roof.

We feel this review is a little unfair, the floor and the roof are indeed the same thickness as advertised on our website and we have no notes from you about cracks on the floor or the quality of the overall build.

We can see from the images that the panels were not rotten, they were slightly damp from the delivery process and were left in your garage for a week and a half before installation. We have also sent you some replacement panels at no extra cost to rectify this.

At every stage they exceeded my expectations. The shed is great, the service and communications were great - staff very helpful, and the installer did a brilliant job in the teeth of a gale.

Cant fault service

I did read a lot of negative comments about this company but I must put my experience across.
Ordered a shed on a Sunday night. Confirmed Monday, delivered Wednesday. Communication 1st class from the office to the delivery driver. Took my 2 hours to put the shed up and found it very sturdy. I personally lined the shed with 18mm OSB as I was fitting shelving and I reinforced the door, floor and roof as I want to keep tools in there.
From my experience I would have to give 10/10.

Other than a prompt delivery!

Other than a prompt delivery of the Shed I ordered everything else has been awful!

I ordered a shed to be delivered and installed at the end of November 2021.
The shed was delivered promptly at the beginning of December and I was promised installation shortly after.

Fast forward to today (15/1/22) and the shed is still sitting flat packed on my driveway.

I still do not have a confirmed day or time for installation although I have been informed it will be sometime W/C 17th January.

So Sheds First, am I expected to take the whole of next week off work and drive the 100 miles to where the shed is to be installed and just wait for your guys to turn up 'sometime next week' ?

My advice to anyone thinking about using this company would be to avoid and should you decide to use them do not get them to install arrange your own!!

Reading through other reviews on this company on Google, it appears I am not the only customer recently who has had issues!!!

I finally got an installation date (after nearly 6 weeks of asking) from Sheds First.....

The time arranged was today 18/1 @ 2.30pm (Which I thought was not leaving enough time before it got dark)

Surprise Surprise its now 5.15pm and dark outside & No One has turned up!

Can't say I am surprised, this whole installation process has been a complete shambles.

I shall be asking for a refund and arranging my own installation

I cannot repeat this enough... AVOID THIS COMPANY

Thurs 20/2
As you can see Shed's First have replied to my complaint. They have now accused me turning down the offer of the Sheds First Installer to provide the service I had paid for.

What Shed's first do not say is that thier installer made the offer by phone at 5.30pm when he was still 30 miles away from my address. It was pitch black and no mention was made that they could light up the area in order to do the job.

I refused the offer because the appointment had been for 2.30pm!
At no time was I called by the installer or Shed's First to say he was running late.
To be frank at that stage I had enough and called Shed's First for a refund.!

I repeat once again avoid this company

I would first of all like to apologise for the delay in getting your installation date, we use a 3rd party installer for this product and I can see from the notes he has really let us down.

However I can see that the installer was turned away by you on the 18/01/2022 due to it being dark, I can also see that the installer advised you that he carries full lighting equipment to install in the winter months.

We are in the process of refunding you for the installation value which will be with you very shortly.

Worst service ever encountered

Ordered the shed, waited months and then it wasn't available, picked another they forgot to add base, promised delivery and cancelled, promised again and cancelled, complained about service and never rang back, complained again asking what's happened, didn't ring back its the WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED,
