I was on the motorway and I was getting tailgated by the van with the registration MT23LFN and he proceeded to call me a w*nker and threw very inappropriate hand gestures at me. He then did it again infront of me to multiple other cars. He’s driving very erratically in an out of traffic. Very dangerous. And speeding over 90mph. This should not be tolerated at any company and very immature behaviour. As I can see from these previous reviews you don’t care about your customers and are quite frankly a pile of crap.

I had an engineer came out today to fix my lift the lift is new but we’ve been having a lot of problems with it but they finally found the root cause of the problem my door was not closing properly so they have finally fixed it mean in the lift is back in action I would like to say a big thank you to Graham he came out today and he was here for well over 4 1/2 hours to fix the lift I am happy it’s now back in action but I just touchwood that it does not break down again because I cannot walk up a flight of stairs without getting out of breath I have heart Problems so it is vital that I have a lift that I can rely onSo I just hope it doesn’t break down again

Dealing with this company has been an awful experience. There have been several instances where the information provided their team has been inconsistent or inaccurate, which has created significant disruption to our operations and resulted in a considerable amount of avoidable administrative work on our end. They send statements saying that an engineer has visited and charge when no one has turned up. Our lift was constantly broke down and they never managed to locate the issue and till charged us. we have moved to another company. dont touch these with a barge pole. We expect a much higher standard of professionalism and communication from a service provider.

Dealing with this company has been an awful experience. Their low levels of professionalism and integrity consume time and money. Our confidence dissolved to the point we avoided them doing work already paid for. I had the opportunity to hear the experience of another far larger customer, it was no different. I think the best value I can provide in writing this review is to advise any prospective customer: Do thorough due diligence. Do your best to find customers, industry experts and engineers and seek their opinion.

The lift installed by Sheridan Lifts at Libertas House is barely two years old, yet it has broken down multiple times, causing major inconvenience and raising serious concerns about its durability, efficiency, and reliability.

In October 2024, the lift was completely out of service for almost a month because the emergency speaker—used to communicate with an operator in case someone gets trapped—stopped working. As a result, the lift had to be blocked as it was not compliant with health & safety regulations. While I understand that engineers couldn’t attend due to a payment issue with our management company, the fact that such a critical component failed so soon is deeply concerning.

Then, in December, the lift light stopped working, followed by a complete breakdown on December 30th. It remained out of service until January 17, 2025. When engineers finally arrived, they took just 15 minutes to fix it—raising the question of why a supposedly modern lift is so prone to failure. More recently, on January 30th, the ground floor call button stopped working, and as of today, it’s still not fixed.

These constant breakdowns give me zero confidence in the quality of Sheridan Lifts’ products. Beyond the inconvenience, there’s also a very real fear of being trapped inside due to how frequently issues occur. No lift that is this new should have so many recurring problems. If you’re considering a lift installation, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a more reliable and durable solution.

The first review for this suspect company.
Lack of a satisfactory and competent service.
Poor paperwork for one service report which referred to another contract/lift and too much tick boxing.
Inability to quote for rectification of minor defects in operation of the lift.
Did not perform the full service schedules as laid out in the contract.
They are trying to get out of this situation which is now likely to end in court as they cannot accept their undoubted weaknesses and misrepresentation.
