Karma is gentle and a very good climber

An unforgettable and beautifully organised Kailash Yatra 🙏🏼

I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have been part of this Yatra. It was a pleasure to meet and spend so much time with such a wonderful group of people, and I’ll take away some truly special memories from the experience.

The Yatra itself was beautiful beyond expectation — every detail was handled with such care and professionalism. A huge thank you toKarma and his team for the flawless execution, guidance and support throughout.

From the planning and logistics to keeping everyone safe and supported, no matter what time of night, the team went above and beyond. Their experience, dedication and calm approach made such a challenging journey feel safe, organised and truly special.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Karma and his team to anyone considering the Kailash Yatra. It was an incredible spiritual and personal journey, made even more memorable by the people who guided us along the way.

The very best in Kailash expeditions (Yatra) full vegetarian food including Jalebis. We have our own chefs, porters and guides. Karma has taken 3 generations of my family to Kailash successfully. Truely a most genuine person. Caring and will make sure you complete whatever trek you are on. Simply the best!

I wanted to do a trek and contacted sherpajourney.com. My dates for traveling was a bit off season and didn’t fit any group tours, but Karma planned a personalized tour to EBC for me to the smallest detail. It was an amazing experience and Karma and his team was a great part of this. Karma is proffesional and dedicated and shares his passion for the region and it’s culture and people - his genuine interest in people makes him the perfect guide for an unforgetable experience. I am definately choosing Karma again for my next Nepal trek.

I did the Everest Base Camp trek with Karma as part of a big group. It was the first time high-altitude trekking for most of and it wasn’t an easy climb, but Karma was so professional, supportive and always cheerful that he made the experience not just enjoyable, but very memorable. I would highly recommend him as a guide for any treks and look forward to hiking with him again soon.

I traveled to Nepal in 2019, with the intention of doing the EBC trek. After arriving, and discussing the itinerary with Karma, we changed the plan and did the RanjaLa pass trek instead. Much better views, and some extra days to explore Pokhara - thank you so much for accommodating and arranging it all.

Karma Sherpa is the most kind hearted man you will ever meet. I have climbed on Everest with him twice and done many treks with him. He is safe and caring.

I met Karma Sherpa on the Everest Trek. His team's professional approach to guiding tourists in the beautiful Himalayan Mountains in challenging high altitude was impressive. Karma's friendly personality and experienced leadership made our hike unforgettable. We felt safe and looked after as we immersed, challenged ourselves in the awesome environment we were so privileged to be in.

In 2023 we did the Annapurna base camp trek with Karma who is a superprofessional, 100% reliable, highly skilled and very friendly sherpa guide. Now we are preparing for the next trek to Gokyo and Renjo pass under his leadership - cannot wait 😊!

Karma and his team are extremely experienced guides whose local knowledge, language skills and logistics management were essential and invaluable to us on the Annapurna Ultra. His team were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable with great sense of humour. Karma will be the first person I contact when I go back to Nepal

We did a 10-day family trek through the Mustang valley with Karma and his team. They were awesome - the entire trip was smooth and organised, they accommodated all our requests, and most importantly they were great fun to hang out with! Would highly recommend them for anyone planning a Himalayan hike or trek.

I met Karma while he was leading the safety committee of the Annapurna ultra marathon. His passion for his country, the mountains and safety was first class. As well as being a first class human, he’s always cracking jokes making a great environment to be in all the while keeping your goals and safety in the forefront of the endeavour. We have trekked with Karma many times since 2007. He has guided us to Mera peak twice, Gokyo-Renjo La, Namche when our daughter was 2.5years old, Mardi Himal when she was 4 years old and Langtang when she was 6 years old.
Every part of the trek is always organised perfectly with any problems solved easily. Karma is happy to share his knowledge making for a great experience.
He ensures the clients needs are well catered for even in difficult conditions.
We highly recommend Karma and his team for any trekking experience you may want.

These guides lead by Karma Sherpa and his nephew Ngwang were absolutely incredible!! They are some of the most skilful, knowledgeable, caring guides. Karma used to be a climber so he is VERY experienced ! They took care of all the details and went over and beyond what they needed to -
- medical care (extremely knowledgeable);
- mountain experience (VERY experienced);
- accommodation knowledge (sometimes they even went ahead to makes sure we got great rooms!).
- taking care of the guests;
- food consumption advice (we didn’t ever get sick because they knew of the best places to eat)
- constantly serving.

We were there for the Everest Marathon and these guys literally during the marathon Karma went ahead and was at the finish line and he sent Nwang to be there half way and he literally ran behind us to make sure we were ok.

At one stage I got altitude sickness and I was as very confident in their knowedge. They advised us on what food to eat and the best equipment to take.

I saw many guides and of course there are many great ones but to be honest I think we had the best !

The trip itself is unforgettable . Spectacular scenery - beautiful weather, challenging yet rewarding. You should be fit and prepare by training so you will enjoy the experience more.
