In un anno e mezzo un disco nvme Kingston non viene più riconosciuto. Perdita di tutti i dati e sistema operativo. Fortunatamente faccio sempre backup dei dati. Il disco era integrato in un PC bosgame h68 quindi mi rivolgo alla Bosgame che se ne lava le mani. Strano perché teoricamente la Kingston da una garanzia sui dischi di almeno 5 anni

Chiavetta USB difettosa di pessima qualità

Ho comprato una Kingston Data Traveler 3.0 100 G3 da 32GB. Innanzitutto non Ú da 32GB come pubblicizzato bensì solo 28,8. Poi quando si inserisce nel pc (windows 11) esplora risorse si blocca. E anche se non si blocca poi Ú lentissima a copiare file e molti nemmeno li copia perchÚ a un certo punto smette di funzionare. Anche i materiali sono di bassissima qualità perchÚ la chiavetta Ú in semplice plastica. Insomma una schifezza dentro e fuori

I bought a SSD through a seller who closed its activity. I contact Kingston to use the warranty and they take care of my problem and change de defective component.

Kingston's "5-Year Global Warranty" is a myth: 90 days of denial and regional discrimination

I am writing this as a warning to anyone relying on Kingston’s "Global Warranty." My experience with an XS2000 2TB SSD (9% wear, but failing) has been a 3-month nightmare of corporate evasion.

The Facts:

Warranty Denial: Despite a 5-year global manufacturer's warranty, Kingston refuses to provide a direct RMA for Ukraine. Their team explicitly stated in writing: "A direct manufacturer RMA is not offered for this region."

Delegating Liability: Kingston is trying to force a local retailer (Citrus) to honor the manufacturer's extended warranty, even though the retailer's legal obligation (12 months) has expired.

90 Days of Mockery: My claim started on November 17, 2025. After 3 months, I still have a defective $300+ device and zero manufacturer support.

Legal Action: We have officially filed a complaint with the California Attorney General (SID: 1071711) and documented Kingston's bad faith during the BBB mediation (Case #24448282).

As a media organization (Interstate Mediagroup), we are documenting this case as a prime example of deceptive marketing and warranty evasion in crisis regions.

Avoid Kingston if you value international support. Their "Global Warranty" ends where their logistics costs begin.

He tenido un problema con una SSD SXS/1000G después de 2 años de uso.
Envié un correo a Kingston, fueron rápidos y amables en la respuesta. Se ofrecieron a cambiarla, envié la memória y me enviaron una nueva sin cargo.
Creo que es una empresa responsable y con solución rápida.

I am writing this to express my deep disappointment with Kingston EMEA. My SSD failed, and under Case 00619867, Kingston's own RMA team explicitly confirmed the drive is authentic and within the warranty period.

However, they are refusing to honor the warranty because the original owner has passed away and the receipt is missing. This "policy over people" approach is heartless. They admit the product is theirs, they admit it is defective, and they admit it is under warranty, yet they choose to use a family tragedy as a loophole to avoid their responsibility.

As a representative of a Youth Art Association (VIVO) and a long-time supporter of the tech community, I expected "Legendary Reliability" to include basic human empathy. Penalizing a customer for a death in the family is unethical.

That said, while we have confirmed that the SSD is authentic, defective, and within the warranty period, we regret to inform you that Kingston’s warranty terms require that warranty claims for this specific product model be processed through the original point of purchase. Unfortunately, without the original proof of purchase or the ability to identify the vendor, we are not able to create a direct RMA through Kingston in this case.

We understand that this may be disappointing, especially given the circumstances, and we truly regret that we are unable to make an exception to this policy. Please note that this requirement applies globally and ensures consistent and fair handling of warranty claims for all customers.

SSD failed, received a replacement after 2 weeks

I bought a A400 SSD from Amazon, towards the end of its warranty it was having hundreds of IO timeouts, resulting in the PC freezing.

I made a warranty claim with Kingston, provided the invoice, and after two weeks, I was sent an exact replacement

I'm somewhat disappointed by the SSD failing, but happy to see that they stand by their warranty.

Strangest Error In less than 2 Months

In less than 2 Months , I had the strangest error with my 512 GB Flash memory... where my data is available on it for copying, but can neither be deleted or formatted !! (Tried All what humans & AI can imagine)

Now I cannot replace it as it has business data on it and I am not able to use it for its inital purpose :)

I sent a complaint and got the below reference ... But with no further reply till moment

SAV RAM défectueuse

AprÚs 20 ans d'achat de RAM chez kingston, j'ai eu une barrette défectueuse. AprÚs 3 ans de bons et loyaux services elle m'a lâché au beau milieu de la crise de la RAM... Le SAV Kingston a été super réactif et m'a remplacé mon kit rapidement.
Un grand merci à eux pour leur professionnalisme.

Horrible Experience, controversial and not true Answers

On the advice of my friends who had already received RMA treatment from Kingston based on verification of the validity of the warranty, which can be checked using the product serial number indicating the date of manufacture, I hopefully contacted Kingston's EMEA customer care division (located in the UK), and that's where the problems began, based on information provided to me by several customer care agents who expressly confirmed, “Don't worry if you received the product as a gift and can't find the proof of purchase; we will honor the product warranty based on the product's date of manufacture.” Everything was fine until the head of the RMA management division dug his heels in and demanded proof of purchase, otherwise the RMA would not go ahead! Congratulations on the total lack of transparency and the controversial treatment I received. Until yesterday, Kingston offered an RMA option based on courtesy after verifying the authenticity of the product with a request for front and back photos, and suddenly it can no longer recognize the warranty even though the product serial number is valid. I had similar problems with Western Digital and Seagate, but all they did was check the product serial number and they replaced the defective units without asking for proof of purchase. That's courtesy.

I'm done with Kingston for good and I don't recommend them.

This is what is written in Kingston Website under Kingston Limited Warranty Statement:

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, if you are unable to obtain warranty service from your original point of purchase or the authorised Kingston dealer or distributor from whom you purchased the product, you may obtain warranty service directly from the Kingston service centre after first obtaining a Return Material Authorisation (“RMA”) number from Kingston.

They should help in the case you have no possibility to go to the original seller!!!

Memory replaced

One of my five year old memory modules developed a fault. I checked the Kingston web site and found it had a lifetime warranty. I exchanged emails with the support team and provided details of the testing I had carried out. Replacement memory aririved today. I was very happy with the service I received.

Thank you very much to the Kingston company because when I contacted them with a problem with the RAM, they understood me, responded quickly and sent me new memory to the distributor in my area, but an unpleasant situation happened with them in which they did not want to negotiate normally to give it to me, as a result, I again contacted Kingston support where they personally sent me new memory right to my home in just 2 working days, thank you very much to all the support from Kingston and a special thank you to Yubi because he was the last one who talked to me and successfully answered all the questions
