No way to cancel and no response. Guess I'll have to block my payment like others. Don't subscribe.

They are thieves !

Fraudulent company. There is no option to cancel the subscription and the only way to get out of it is blocking and replacing your creditcard. Stay away from these guys, they don't react to email either.

Scammers, been trying to cancel for 3 weeks and have now taken £ 30 unauthorised I have emailed almost daily to make sure cancelled and still taking money for a 4th time, disgusting stay away!!

Scammers cant cancel subscription

They don’t even deserve the 1 star as they are scammers. No option to cancel subscription on the ShortMax app and not showing on my Apple app subscriptions. Deleted my app, but still charging weekly.

I dont wanna give them even a 1 star. Their customer service is terrible. No cancelation on the app so they give an email address to contact them but no response at all. They gonna charge you every week even if you email them to cancel your subscription. You can't even call them to talk to a customer service. This apps is ripped off. Dont use this apps they are terrible with their customers.😠😠🤬

The films look good but the app constantly crashes and you barely get through an episode before the app closes on itself!

My phone even heated up and completely crashed!

Dont get fooled. I have cancelled my subscription late lastyear and they still charge me weekly. I had sent them multiple emails to cancel it but they didnt. I called my bank and its still under investigation. They are scammers

They are fraudulent taking money out of my account every single week. I’ve already sent him a cease and desist letter. They confirmed the cease-and-desist letter and then turned around and took money out again.

Sono solo dei truffatori se avessi letto prima di fare un acquisto di sicuro non lo avrei fatto per di più oltre a non avere quanto acquistato non si sono degnati neanche di rimborsarmi non divento ricco per 4,00€ e neanche povero ma è una questione di correttezza spero che almeno loro diventano ricchi con quei 4,00€ vergognatevi

Cancelled subscription but they carried on taking money from my bank, contacted them numerous times and kept getting the same replies as most on here. Absolutely useless. They are essentially just stealing peoples money. Such a shame because there mini dramas are worth watching but I would never subscribe again and I would advise everyone to steer clear there are better ones out there like dramabox

If I could write this review without a star I would. I have emailed numerous to cancel my subscription but to no avail. They keep taking money from my account but I have now set up a dispute with my bank about it. As soon as they take it out my bank takes it back and refunds me. There excuse is they have a lot to get through and just keep throwing emails back asking for my information. DO NOT trust this app as soon as you see ShortMax Tv avoid it like the plague. This has been going on since October of last year.

Scammers. Impossible to cancel from google play. Emailed support they said my subscription is cancelled. Yet they are charging me still.

Es wirkt leider so, als ob deine Erfahrung mit ShortMax **kein Einzelfall** ist. Viele Nutzer berichten genau das Gleiche: **Abo bezahlt – aber kaum Inhalte, extrem viel Werbung, technische Probleme und praktisch nichts auf Deutsch.**

- **Sehr schlechte Sicherheits- und Seriositätsbewertung**: ShortMax erreicht nur **0.9/100** in der Legitimitätsanalyse und wird von vielen als *nicht seriös* eingestuft.
- **99 % negative Nutzererfahrungen**: Beschwerden über Abzocke, nicht funktionierende Abos, extrem viel Werbung und fehlende Inhalte.
- **Deutschsprachige Inhalte fehlen oft komplett**, obwohl die App das nicht klar kommuniziert.
- **Abo wird teilweise nicht aktiviert**, obwohl bezahlt wurde – Nutzer müssen Rückerstattungen beantragen.
- **Viele Inhalte kosten zusätzlich Münzen**, obwohl man bereits ein Abo hat.

Was ich jetzt tun kannst
Damit du dein Geld zurückbekommst und nicht weiter zahlst, sind das die sinnvollsten Schritte:

#### 1. **Abo sofort kündigen**
- Google Play oder Apple App Store öffnen
- „Abos“ → ShortMax → kündigen

#### 2. **Rückerstattung beantragen**
Je nach Plattform:
- **Google Play**: play.google.com → „Bestellung melden“ → „Ich möchte eine Rückerstattung“
- **Apple**: reportaproblem.apple.com → Kauf auswählen → „Rückerstattung anfordern“

Do not subscribe. Everything was fine initially, you could purchase and cancel from the app. I deleted the app and downloaded it after a while. However this time the app had an Apple Pay subscription instead of Apple subscription. This does not give an unsubscribe button and then you write to them for cancellation. They keep asking for UID even after you’ve provided. Meanwhile instead of cancelling they charged again from the pre order approvals. I can see that it is cancelled now before expiry but they haven’t issued a refund for the over charging. This is scamming.
