Flashy website. Shit products. It worse then the stuff from wish or temu. Way overpriced.

Do not waste your money on the SILK ROLLA Cordless Hair Curler!!!! A fully charged battery barely lasts half an hour leaving me with half my hair done with every use, it also doesn’t work plugged in meaning you have to rely on its pathetic battery life. I threw it in the trash where it belongs!!!

I ordered a multifunctional hairdryer $119.90. Which was not working upon receiving. I have contacted customer service today to request refund. I will keep you posted on the outcome of this request.
I am hoping this was an oversight and silkrolla do the right thing to ammend.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased. Once bitten, twice shy. DO NOT buy anything from SilkRolla because it is a scam. I've been suckered into spending $95 and it's my own stupid fault for not checking in the first place. The Australia Post number I was provided with is a fake as is the company. They've spent a lot of money on their website because it certainly fooled me. However buyer beware and don't be fooled

On 12 May 2025, I purchased a hair straightener from the website silkrolla.com after discovering their brand via Instagram. The site appeared to be an Australian business, reinforced by a banner stating “FREE SHIPPING AUSTRALIA WIDE,” an Australian shipping policy referencing Australia Post, and a transaction location listed as “Kings Park” (NSW/WA). NB: The site does not list a phone number or an ABN.

Their shipping policy promises dispatch within 1–3 business days and delivery within 9 days maximum. As of today (28 May), I have not received the item, nor have they even dispatched it to a courier/postal service. The first red flag was that they did not use Australia Post as promised; instead, they sent me a tracking link from Aramex New Zealand. Aramex confirmed they have not received the item, and no tracking activity has occurred.

I attempted to contact Silk Rolla multiple times via email. Their replies were automated in tone, failed to respond to direct questions, and did not provide proof of dispatch or resolution options. They have refused to offer a refund, despite not lodging the item with the courier within the promised timeframe. No staff member has signed any correspondence with a surname, and there is no way to escalate or speak with a representative.

The business has failed to:

Deliver the item within their stated timeframe;

Use their advertised courier (Australia Post);

Provide evidence of dispatch;

Offer meaningful customer service;

Facilitate a refund or resolution;

Provide basic legal identifiers such as an ABN or direct contact.

This is a clear breach of Australian Consumer Law under "goods not received" and false or misleading claims. I have submitted reports with the ACCC; Scamwatch; NSW Fair Trading and my bank. I will post an update if anything further occurs.

Terrible customer service full of lies nothing sent and it's been 2 weeks. Won't give me a refund as they are trying to tell me it's too late! No tracking or shipping notification

Ordered the hot roller brush. After numerous attempts to contact them by email and no confirmation of a purchase email I have been totally scammed of $144.80

Unfortunately I have also been sucked in and ripped off by these criminals. I now know I will check reviews for online companies that offer free shipping and have no phone number. I purchased the heated brush from the silkrolla website that looks very professional. The item I got was of an inferior quality and different brand and the cheap packaging, for what was advertised as a quality product- not cheap- $84.50 , alerted my suspicion. I charged up the item for required time but the on off button didn’t work and the brush area didn’t heat up. It was sent from Aussie massager in botany nsw- so I checked out their website too. I then found lots of negative reviews about them as well. I have but my feedback on a review about them as well. Of course I have emailed both parties but I think I may have to console myself with the fact I only purchased one item. I can’t believe that these criminals haven’t been closed down for fraud and stealing.

Purchased the Product 26/9/24 - received on the 10/10/24. Charged 3 x times and would not work.
No details and response from the company.
Should be jailed and convicted for fraud and thief.
A piece of crap - wish we had just given our money to charity instead of these A%$#$%# holes.

The cordless hair dryer didn't work without the cord even after allowing ample to charge.

It also only kind of worked in one of its two mode with the cord attached.

I contact support-at-silkrolla.com and have got no reply!

I have to learn to check Trust Pilot first before purchasing. I had hoped the reviews were exaggerated, but they turned out to be correct.

I paid $84.90 for a Cordless Thermal Blowout Brush and then I received a tracking number for the AustraliaPost but the tracking number is not available for tracking for five days now. I have emailed them a few times but no one has replied to me. When I read through all the reviews here I realised that I was cheated by this online shop. So now I believe this shop is a fraud and I won't receive the product or get the money back. How come they can cheat people like that? How bad they are!!!

I am absolutely disgusted how this company takes your money and does not reply to any emails sent through to them. I purchased 2 items from silk Rolla with a total of $230 and no one has been in contact with us. Do not use this company they are frauds and I will be reporting them. No one shows interest in your concern. Do not buy from them

I don’t usually write reviews but felt I had to warn others about Silk Rolla.
I bought 3 hair grooming items from Silk Rolla and promptly received an email to say they were on their way via Australia Post and was provided a tracking number. All good and how exciting, however, that tracking number doesn’t seem to be real and the only message I can get via Aus Post is that it is ‘pending’. I left it 2 weeks to give the parcel time to arrive and then contacted Silk Rolla by email - no response, then via their website support- no response and then again by email and yep again complete radio silence. I then went searching for reviews and finally came across these posted here and my fears have been realised that I am not alone. The reviews on their website are fantastic and they do seem quite legitimate with all the products they offer but unfortunately they are rogues.
I have lodged a PayPal dispute and hopefully will get my money back as I feel confident that in reality my products have never been sent.
Such a shame they looked really good.

The reviews in their own website are heavily curated. I bought their usb powered, cordless hairdryer for $199 and got a piece of blower that couldn’t even dry the shortest thinnest hair of a toddler. I saw the same product in Temu for under $30. Please make sure you check with their trust pilot rating first before believing bogus reviews on their website. I want my money back. I have contacted them and received zero response. That’s money down the drain. They just steal it and get away with it because they are an online store.

They curate all the reviews left on their website so you never know if something is wrong with a product because they do not post bad reviews. This tricks people to pay for products that are bad to begin with then there is zero accountability after they take your money. Be very, very careful and stay far away from this website.

Ordered an umbrella and it still says aus post is waiting for the sender to drop it off. I emailed Silkrolla a week ago to find out what is going on, they didn't reply.

Very poor quality items. Fake reviews on their website. No contact phone number only 1 email address provided as a contact and they do not reply to you if you would like a return. Scam website.. unfortunately they will probably continue trading under a different name soon. Filed a complaint with the ACCC against this business so hopefully that does something.
