Sabina at SKALP was brilliant. Hair looks amazing you can’t even tell, would highly recommend.

I wouldn’t go with any other company but Skalp. These guys are the best in their field! They are the Mr Kiplings of cakes, the Ferrari of super cars. They are the best when it comes to this procedure, I wouldn’t trust any other company but Skalp to touch my head.

I always had confident as a guy when I was younger (proper Jack the lad, billy big bullocks sort of guy) but when I started losing my hair my confidence went out the window.

I was always hiding behind a cap in the summer and a wooly hat in the winter.

I looked into Turkey hair transplant and even the wig procedure but I thought to myself the wig will be silly and very uncomfortable and the hair transplant, I heard a lot of negative things and it was a waste of money as the hair never really grows back - once it’s gone, it’s gone forget.

I thought to myself, WTF am I going to do? I can’t always hide behind a cap, especially working in the office and going to family events.

I came across SMP - Skalp and took the plunge.

I had the treatment 3 years ago back in May 2022. I was so nervous getting this done, prior to the procedure I thought to myself what the hell am I doing - is this even going to work, how the hell is this even going to look.

After my final procedure - I was like wow, looking in the mirror I’m thinking who the hell is this guy. I looked absolutely amazing and started getting my confidence back. I stopped wearing my caps, still wore the woolly hats in the winter but only outside as obviously it’s cold.

Just this week after 3 years I came in to get a minor touch up, a lot of people didn’t think it was needed but I thought, hell - why not just get a minor touch up.

And the magician behind it, is a man called - Vinny. He’s the best in this field, he’s a true artist. He is literally - Vincent Van Gogh! THANK YOU so much - Vinny!

The team in Manchester provided exceptional care, and Vinny at the London branch was also impressive. He took the time to listen to my needs and offered his expertise, resulting in an amazing outcome.

For anyone thinking about getting this treatment, I can't recommend Skalp Manchester enough! The whole experience from the WhatsApp consultation with Jason, to the booking of the appointments with Liz, to the treatment itself with Sabina, it exceeded all my expectations. Skalp make you feel very comfortable about the treatment with their experience shining through. Sabina was fantastic and made me feel like I'd known her years. Sabina was very knowledgeable and helped me through the nervous initial stages making me feel more confident at each session.
The outcome was more than I could ever imagine. I'm receiving a lot of compliments from friends/family and the beauty of it is, most don't know I've even had the treatment, which is a testament to Skalp's practitioners and how brilliant they are at their craft. The treatment has had such a positive impact on my life I'm even researching how to train to be an SMP practitioner!

After going bald on top by my mid-twenties, I've been looking at SMP for several years and I'm honestly so glad I finally took the plunge. I had a simple video consultation over WhatsApp, which covered what the treatment involved and how long it would take. After this, I made the decision to book in at the London clinic. I live in Cornwall so all the clinics are a bit of a trek for me, considering there are many people much closer who claim to be able to provide the treatment. I've seen some very bad work and I wanted to make sure I was going to get a professional result, so travelling to London and using Skalp was a no-brainer for me. I'm honestly completely bowled over by the result, which is subtle yet also totally transformational. When I catch sight of myself in a mirror or a reflection in a window I'm quickly reminded after almost 20 years that I've now got a hairline again!! Very few people have even noticed the treatment, other than saying that I'm looking "well" or that there's "something different", which is exactly what I wanted... rather than it being obvious I've basically had a tattoo on my head! It now looks like I've chosen to shave my head as a choice and I think it looks brilliant. I had my final treatment with Vinny almost 8 weeks ago. This has given me enough time to live with the treatment and also let it settle. A perfect time for a genuine review.

I was always one of those men who wasn't too concerned about being "bald", it didn't bother me. However after seeing an add online for smp I searched for the top artists in the uk and I potentially found myself sitting at the chair, in the clinic with the best smp artist in the world. Obviously this is a bold statement as I havent had smn with every top artist. However the treatment I have had is perfection. The colour is a mixture of 3 different shades which were done over seperate sessions creating depth. Its ultra realistic, natural, faultless and the coverage and density is a carbon copy of the areas in which I am not balding. Its simply undetectable. And thats the goal. From being someone who didn't care im fully transitioned to someone who didn't realise how much of a massive game changer this actually is.

The process? At times I felt lost after sessions and couldn't see how this would come together. Session 1 is very light and spread out. No real changes to your look but foundations set for the following sessions.
Pain 6/10

Session 2 for me was a change of shade and filling gaps, this made a huge difference. Creating more density and realism due to the healed Session 1 and change of colour. Once this session had healed I could see that my body was pushing out some of the pigment and it faded dramatically, giving me the lost feeling.
Pain 3/10

Session 3 brought everything into perspective, another change of colour for more depth and the most comprehensive pigment placement yet. Filling gaps after gaps and doing it in a way which was creating coverage.
Pain 7.5/10

I have to give a nod to Skalp and I reached out to the team and explain how after my 3rd session had healed it seems as if I did need a final session due to my body healing to a point it was fading pigment. The team were absolutely amazing anf wouldn't let me have a treatment they didn't think was quite finished. They booked me back in after a very sensible time period had passed to ensure they were looking at a fully healed scalp and Vinny went to work.

In our previous sessions we were very much having relaxing and nice conversations between us. When it was professional to do do. On my 4th session Vinny was on a different planet, he went to work on my head and absolutely transformed me. After the 3rd session I could have happily lived with it, but the team knew that an 8/10 wasn't up to their 10/10 standards and for this im truly grateful.

My name is Enda and I had thought about SMP for sometime and eventually took the plunge..I googled SMP companies and found Skalp although i live in Ireland i decided to get in touch with Skalp in the Uk. I had a brilliant consultation with Jason on the phone who put me at ease about the whole process and i was booked in with Sabina at there Manchester Clinic..I have just finished my 2nd appointment with Sabina..All i can say is what a brilliant experience..Sabina is an amazing artist and such a lovely person..Sabina knew exactly what i wanted and made both appointments so comfortable..If anyone is worried that it hurts or painful dont stress it..The confidence ive felt after 2 treatments alone (1 left) is second to none.. I couldnt recommend a better company than Skalp and an artist than Sabina....Forget hair transplants this is defo the way to go guys you wont regret it.

I had SMP 6 years ago and only now did it need a touch up! I had a consult with Vinnie and he immediately knew what needed to be done without me even saying anything. We proceeded to talk and we went into fine detail about what would be best and to keep things natural and most importantly subtle. Well what can I say, I walked out of there with a huge smile and the exact same feeling I had when I first had the treatment 6 years ago which honestly changed me and my confidence. Great results would highly recommend. I was very apprehensive at first but the results are subtle as it looks very natural.

My experience of going to Skalp is very welcoming and professional, They take time to explain the process and also what you are looking for within yourself.
The first time I used Skalp was roughly 10 years ago and I have never looked back and the results are amazing.I have been having 2 hour touch ups every 5 years and I have just had my second one yesterday with Vinny whom is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome 🙏

I did a lot of research on SMP treatment and decided to use skalp Manchester. From initial consultation to 3rd treatment, i found whole process professional and unhurried. SMP treatment is only as as good as the practitioner who is doing the procedure and Sabina(Manchester branch) has over 10years experience and advises on pigment colour, scar covering,density and most importantly fringe style which is customised for every individual and adjustments can be made on each visit until you are completely satisfied. I can honestly say it's the best decision I have ever made, the transformation is spectacular, giving me a more youthful look and increased self confidence, I cannot recommend Sabina highly enough her knowledge and skill are second to none, trust me, you won't be disappointed with the results.
