Lovely place
I am currently getting Electrolysis on my facial area. I am a trans woman that was referred to SkinSpace and I am very grateful that I was referred to such an inviting, professional and warm establishment. My practitioner, Yasmin, made sure I was comfortable in every regard which I am deeply grateful for. I will gladly continue to use their array of services in the future.
Still not received my refund. AVOID this company
Still not received my refund! I paid a deposit in July for £399. It is now November and I have still not received the refund that I’ve been promised. I have emailed and called the support team. I keep getting passed around to different people, but nothing is actioned.
9 months waiting for a refund
Update to previous review- I have now received my refund after the closure of the Richmond store after 9 months waiting. It took a very long time and numerous chaser messages, but they did eventually pay up. I would be wary of parting with substantial funds up front to this company, 9 months is way too long to wait and it seems a policy to only pay out small amount of refunds each month which is wrong IMO when funds are owed but good to know eventually they returned my money
Dermal Filler…
Skin Space in Reading
I am extremely vexed and disappointed with the results of my dermal filler appointments. Despite having two lots of injections over a 1 one month period the last of them being less than a week ago, following my review appointment with the nurse the dermal filler has almost dissolved from my smile lines and mouth. I’ve spent more than £600.00 and still cannot achieve a long lasting look in the areas discussed with the nurse. Even if a top up was required there is no way the product should have disappeared to such an extent I less than 1 week. I cannot trust the product being used. I would never recommend. Polite and friendly service from staff is not enough and is not a substitute for substandard products. I feel misled as I believe the dermal filler should last at least 9 months if not longer.

Be very careful pre-paying
I would be very cautious buying in advance with SkinSpace UK. I was a customer at their Richmond location that they closed without notice before the treatment was complete (I turned up for an appointment one day and it was all boarded up.) I missed out on multiple treatments that I'd already paid for. There's no other branch near me and I was promised a refund for the treatments I didn't have. This was months and months ago. Despite multiple emails and multiple phone calls from me, I've not had the money back. They ignore contacts. I can't know what's going on with this company but if a company fails to provide a refund that's due then that is a big warning sign. If you do prepay for treatment, be sure to use a credit card, then you have protection against a company if they fail to deliver for a range of reasons, including the company getting into difficulty. All they needed to do was reach out and refund the amount due, but they didn't.
UPDATE: SkinSpace UK tried to have this review removed from TrustPilot, claiming that I've reviewed the wrong company. I don't believe that's true but I called and emailed them immediately - they ignored both the call and the email. So this remains unresolved.

Skinspace Bristol. There for Laser hair removal. Great reception, very friendly people, excellent facilities, delightfully flexible with bookings. One small issue I posted in an earlier review here, which resulted in instant, superb support and resolution. Wonderful experience overall. Looking forward to great results with Skinspace Bristol!

Best experience with olga
Today I attended my first session at skinspace birmingham city centre. It was wonderful experience. Olga from Latvia was very professional and friendly. She is very engaging and explained everything in detail. She is very welcoming and talkative. 5 stars for her. Overall best experience. Will definitely be coming back.
AVOID
If you have a young son/daughter that's timid (even though they're an adult) that is looking to use this place then make sure you (as a parent) go with them to their first consultation. Otherwise they will tell you that you have to pay for more sessions rather than being honest and giving you the OPTION of buying more sessions. My child was pressurised (bullied) into buying the sessions because staff are not honest, also they will not give a refund.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. **AVOID AT ALL COSTS.** I have been trying to get a refund for over six months due to the closure of the salon I regularly attended. Now, I’m being told that I must travel to Fitzrovia for my treatments, which is both expensive and highly inconvenient.
I have sent numerous emails, all of which have been ignored. When I finally spoke to the manager, she flatly refused to refund my money. I then requested to speak with the Area Manager on three separate occasions. Each time, I was given the excuse that she was "in a meeting" and promised a callback, which never came. She has consistently avoided returning my calls and addressing the issue.
This company is clearly avoiding refunding me for treatments that total over £1,000. I am left with no choice but to proceed with a Small Claims Court action, as it seems this is the only way I will ever see my money returned.
UPDATE: After multiple attempts to contact the salon regarding my refund, I finally received a response—only after posting a negative review. Shockingly, instead of addressing my concerns, I was asked to stop calling the salon, even though my refund is still outstanding. I was further advised to take legal action, which is an unprecedented and disappointing response.
I am appalled by how this situation has been handled. Both the salon manager, Vicky, and the area manager, Roxy, have refused to take my calls or respond to my emails. It is deeply concerning that the salon has taken my money and is now refusing to provide a refund, particularly given that my treatments were interrupted after the salon relocated to a new area far from my home.
I initially chose this salon due to its convenient location, but the move has caused significant disruption to my treatments, which I can no longer continue due to the distance. Despite this, the salon has not acknowledged the issue or offered a reasonable solution, leaving me feeling unheard and mistreated.
What is even more concerning are the reviews for this salon. Upon closer inspection, many of the positive reviews appear to be fake, with the same individuals leaving multiple reviews for the same location. This is extremely misleading to potential clients and raises serious ethical concerns. I encourage others to check the negative comments to see the true nature of this company.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I hope that no other clients face similar treatment.
