I spoke with Rolna, she was very easy to talk to and thorough. Its great that, if the therapist is comfortable to, you can get answers at the emd of your appoinment! The waiting time was pretty reasonable in comparison to other services aswell!! Wpuld definitely recommend

The interviewer was very calm and kind. She didn't seem to get annoyed with me rambling the interview wasn't as scary as I thought

My experience with Skylight has been nothing but positive so far! I'm still awaiting one assessment, but the process to date has been smooth, they have been very helpful and all initial paperwork was laid out in a way that was easy to understand.
The psychiatrist for my first assessment was really kind and patient. I was very anxious but he made me feel more at ease and explained everything clearly.
I'm really glad I chose Skylight through Right To Choose. After over a decade trying to get diagnosed through the NHS and being interrupted for various reasons, I am finally getting somewhere and they have turned it into a positive experience.

The assessment process was thorough and well managed. The titration for the medication is going well with excellent support and knowledgeable medical staff.

I Felt listened too and was dealt with efficiently and quickly.

The assessor was incredibly affirming, able to keep the process simple without being overwhelming with so many questions. He was great and so supportive.

Skylight waiting time was 6 months, which is speedy considering NHS times. I was able to get answers I needed and the assessor was able to signpost to podcasts and books to help with the new diagnosis and helped me understand that after diagnosis, the brain can process many things from the assessment and to be gentle. I’m really grateful for Skylight and the assessor.

Staff scenced I got stressed easily so made it funny as well to keep me comfy for me to help assess me I was right to choose explained I want something what will help me focus and help with anxiety they delivers I had all my inital and current with a Dr called samiel osei. The tablets I got deliver still me just can focus same energy level and a lot less anxiety all my life GPS prescribed anti depressants what never worked so was always stopping theses on the other hand never fail to take them

After interviews with you almost a year ago now relating to ADHD and autism and chasing this twice, the family member I care for has still not received any report from you.

This means no consultation with the GP on medication required to help manage the condition has been possible. Contact was made from me 16 February 2026, resulting in an auto-response to say communication should be received within 6 weeks. Being generous, that would have been sometime around the middle of March 2026. Well, it's now almost August. Have you lost the report? Did it get mixed up with someone else's? Are you going to make me go through the whole thing again?

What, exactly, is the necessary process to obtain this report? The clinical side of things was great - or so we thought, a year ago. The admin side of things? I have no words. At least none that are printable.

The experience was really good he made me feel comfortable to talk to, listened to me and I felt heard, he explained the different procedures and what will happen next, I don’t think I would of ever got tested if it weren’t for the right to choose, now I feel like I’m actually getting the help I need

My assessor was so kind, understanding and helpful. She made me feel so comfortable talking about my situation.

I had my autism assessment and ADHD assessment with skylight psychiatry. The whole experience I was made to feel comfortable and at ease as much as I could be.
The assessor on both assessments was really warm and understanding, I could tell they really cared about making me feel at ease and making the process as comfortable as possible for me. I really appreciated this.
All the information that was provided from birth to now was talked through in detail.
The reports were extremely detailed and easy to understand and is separated into sections.
No problems at all with the outcomes “not being recognised on the nhs”.

Very poor the time it’s taken almost a year from when I first registered with them when you looked at the reviews before they said they were very fast and quick and their communication is not very good at all Would not recommend them.

Very happy and content with the service I received. The process was very smooth and prompt; customer service ensured that all my questions were answered both quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. I would like to highlight the amazing service I got from Tracey during a 1-1 consultation, she was wonderful. She ensured that I felt comfortable and reassured at all times. I can’t thank Isaac enough for his support throughout my ADHD medication titration. From the very beginning, he was patient, understanding, and took the time to listen to my concerns without making me feel rushed or judged.

Throughout the process, he explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with each step. What stood out most was how approachable and reassuring he was. He created an environment where I felt able to be myself and talk openly about my experiences, which made a huge difference to my confidence.

One of the biggest improvements I noticed was how well my medication helped me regain my attention and focus naturally, allowing me to feel more like myself rather than like I was forcing concentration. Isaac took my feedback seriously at every stage and worked with me to find the right balance, rather than treating the process as one-size-fits-all.

I elected to go with SkyLight Psychiatry via NHS Right To Choose as i have been struggling for over 40 years, despite having independently accessed Psychotherapy at various points in my life but with little to no improvement or answers. I feel the timeframe between filiing in and submitting the forms (which i really struggled with due to the different components) as well as recieving my assessment date was surprisingly very fast, when compared to the timeframe you are generally advised at the start! My assessment with Ruth Purse was indeed a revelation! I felt that I had truly been listened to for the first time, especially being a black women from the diaspora. I honestly attended the appointment with great trepidation not knowing what to expect and worrying sick that I may be invalidated and just put into the stereotypical box which could just have so easily been done. However, Ruth was calm, patient, kind, reassuring and even gave me some break; she took the time to probe about my background and culture in order to better understand me and my situation as well as to get a better understanding for herself. I felt this is the best gift I have ever given myself and look forward to continuing on a new journey to better umderstand myself and improve my situation. Thank you

Waiting times do not match with what receptionist tell you. I emailed asking about wait times for titration as it has been 13 weeks since my assessment, and the website says the wait is up to 16 weeks post assessment. I had a response saying that the expected wait times is 5 months from when I was added to the waitlist (which was about 5 weeks after my assessment when I was sent the link to sign up). This is a significant difference and if I had been aware of that the wait times on their website was not at all accurate I might have chosen a different provider. Disappointing that there is a lack of transparency around wait times.
