I had the pleasure of training with Smart driving for a career change. The entire training took about 18 months which I believe is average. The support that I received during those months was excellent, questions were always answered quickly and professionally and if I needed extra support it was always there, including working closely with Mike Fowler who is the head trainer at Smart Driving. I’ve now gone onto my trainer courses which means I’m now ready to start training prospective driving instructors.

I re-trained with SmartDriving over the last 2-years. The online training for Parts 1, 2 and 3 is simplistic and very easy to follow.

I was given the opportunity to work with Mike Fowler for my Part 2 and 3 training; which was individually personalised for my success.

I am now fully qualified again and was offered additional training by Mike Fowler to become a PDI trainer. This has led to further success for me!

I joined Drive around 2 years ago , needed a career change and wasn't sure which way to turn and here I am loving the role of teaching the youngsters to drive , most parents want the job done quickly to pass the test but I explain I'm teaching them a life long serious subject DRIVING and they get it . Drive have supported me from day 1 , they really do like to guide you through and give you the relevant help you need with online training and zoom meetings training sessions one on one with Mike is a winner , and you get all the relevant books you need . It tool me 4 months to do my part 1 a further 5 months to do part 2 and now I'm a fully qualified ADI best job ever . Be patient in waiting times for tests and study hard, skip nothing . I know 100% DRIVE have THE MOST UP TO DATE training you can get out there and have been questioned by other driving instructors on my knowledge and they very often say ' wow that's spot on ' . I now train PDIs for their part2 and part3 .

I have been with SmartDriving since 10/2019. I have always found the team supportive & encouraging from the beginning of my journey with them, through my training and since I qualified as an ADI in 03/2022. Various staff have been there for me, and I am grateful to the team for all they do.

In my quest for a career change, the idea of becoming a Driving Instructor appealed to me because of the flexibility and the opportunity to work freelance. After researching, comparing, and consulting with various driving school companies, I chose Smart Driving for its value for money.
They offer exceptional training with high-quality Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs), and their staff are supportive and accessible.
Although I am now an independent ADI, they have trained me to the best of my ability.

I wanted to write and thank Drive for their continued support throughout my journey to becoming a driving instructor and continued professional development after. The training was fantastic; it included clear, very extensive online training, face to face in car training and online group workshops. I felt confident and well prepared for all 3 parts of my ADI training and was rewarded with first time passes in all 3 areas. I had a long career in the police and after retiring I was looking for something different. A friend suggested that they felt my voice and personality lent itself to education. I did look at schools however Isaw an ad for driver training and decided to look into it. There were a number of "schools" of which I researched I chose Smartdriving and am so glad I did. The training was comprehensive and any problems I had either of a technical or learnig material I was given full support. Support which continues to this day as a qualified ADI. I cannot praise them high enough.

I chose smartdriving to help me qualify to become a driving instructor because there advert stood out to me. I didn't want to go with the AA, Red or more established companies. I wanted value for money and quality in the training. I found the course content very good and easy to follow. Becoming a driving instructor is very hard work but having the backing and support on hand all the time is very reassuring. Although I have now gone independent I wouldn't have made it to this point without smartdriving. Would 100% recommend them through my experience.

This is one of the biggest scam driving school on the planet, they are ripping people off, they are based on lies, they talk to you and nice to you until they scam you and take your money then they ignore you and don’t even bother to answer your call. Please please don’t ever think about to give your money to these scammers Go and do your driving lessons with other driving school not theses scammers, they have provide false information on the phone to me when I spoke to them back in February this year but when I joined and made the deposit it was completely different from what they are offering. I know so many people that have been scammed by this company including myself, please please don’t make a same mistake as we did. If there was 0 stars I would have giving it to them because they deserve it 😡😡😡

Found the training programme extremely beneficial with great support from the staff throughout. About to start my trainee licence and have received all the info necessary including how they’re marketing for me.

From start to finish, the guidance from Jos was outstanding. She was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure all of my queries were dealt with to the best of her ability

I called to enquire today and spoke with a girl named Jos who was very helpful! She explained everything to me very well and gave me all of the info I needed. Really lovely welcome from her

enjoyed my training drive have been very professional throughout the duration of my course and I’m really excited to get started. Between chris and louie i had all the support i needed
when i failed my part 1 test drive were supportive and encouraged me to continue and now ive completed it

During my lessons with Neil Wiseman, he was patient and informative. Neil never made me feel like a question was too silly to ask and helped me improve my confidence in my driving abilities.Thanks to Neils help I passed my test first time, i highly recommend him as a teacher you wont regret it !

Had a 10 hour intensive course with Mike Noakes as my instructor and cannot recommend highly enough. Passed first time and this is mainly due to him; Very professional, calm and reassuring, Mike prioritised areas for improvement quickly and had me test ready in no time.

I have not got any professional support…and would to cancel contract
I have not got any professional support at all, I don’t want to continue policy with them . But they don’t let me to cancel the contract. It has not been 14 days yet. they sent only some subjects through emails which can be found online. They do not wanna refund of course ! It is not a true what they say before the course ! It is all fraud . one star is too many for their service ! If you want to become an instructor driver please think it over, they are not a good company . Drive and smart Driving they both are same company so don’t put yourself in fraud

I have just qualified as an ADI and it was a fantastic experienced indeed. Lessons were very straightforward and easily accessible. Group sessions were very informative and conducted in a highly professional manner. Support was excellent and not a single moment I felt that I was on my own all throughout the course.

Just completed my training with this training provider, fantastic team, always there to support you and have someone to chat to you if you need, also required some extra training as I went through the process which was also no problem to these guys, would highly recommend them to anybody considering becoming a Driving Instructor.
