Really great experience with Smartech. From the first visit, they were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the best options for my home security and automation.

The installation was smooth and completed to a very high standard. Everything was set up neatly, and they made sure I understood how to use the system before leaving. The app control is especially useful and makes managing everything really easy.

You can tell they use quality equipment, and the whole system has been working perfectly since it was installed. It’s given me real peace of mind.

I was looking for a reliable burglar alarm system and CCTV cameras for my home when I came across SmartTech Security. I contacted them for a quotation, which they provided promptly. They then arranged a visit to carry out a detailed site check before finalising everything.

Both the alarm system and the cameras were installed professionally and to a very high standard. The technicians were knowledgeable and took the time to suggest a few improvements to enhance visibility and overall security, which I really appreciated.

The service was excellent from start to finish, and the post-installation support has been brilliant as well. I’m extremely happy with the quality of work and customer care provided.

Scammers Smart Security
I have spoken to someone who claims to be the owner of the company. For a week I was communicating by calls & email.

Initial verbal price was doubled when put in writing.

Then on booking the actual appointment she claimed that she did not receive my info email! When the same email sent 3 hours earlier was forwarded again, she said she does not like questioning her or the tone!

You might expect an apology at this stage with all the mix up, but all I got for double the price, week of stagnation, and for asking for the same information again & again , all I got .... we are not interested in your business! When i asked to speak to the manager, she said there is no manager, I am the owner of the business.

They took my info, photos & videos of my property , details, name and address , just to say after a whole week, we are actually not interested!
Scammers.. why are they collecting info?

Just because i gave 29 horrible business like yours a true one star, does not make my review less truthful. I use hundreds of great services, but don't review them because of time limitations and no need. Good business does not need good review. A truthful bad review should prompt you for better service and apology. But you have been rude & aggressive.

Attached the emails you claim you did not receive and the higher price you admitted in writing. I trust every one agrees my emails were polite and to the point, as you kept changing your facts over the phone.

We recently used smartech for installation of our security alarm and CC TV cameras around the house. Firstly I found Smartech quite competitive and well priced. They are also knowledgeable about their products which isn’t the case for most firms.

As we were building our whole house I needed a lot of advice which was promptly supported with. On the day of installation all work was done in a tidy way and everything explained.

I realised a day after that one of the PIr didn’t work. But this was no problem and the company came back in 2 days and replaced the Pir and retested all system. I also had follow up request to check on app etc. and appreciate all the quick support.
I have no hesitation recommending their service!

Great at the initial sales pitch and installation….friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful. Unfortunately if you ever encounter any issues they will never return to fix the problems, absolutely joke of a post-sales service. Advise to go elsewhere

We had smartech install our alarm and camera system several years ago. The installation went very well, very helpful and friendly team and very knowledgeable. I wish I could say the same for their after sales, we have had a number of issues since with the alarm and we have to keep calling and emailing to get a response. We have had it where the alarm hasn’t worked for over a week and no response. Often promised call backs which never happen, a joke really as you pay all this money to protect your home and when things go wrong it takes them forever to resolve - pointless having the alarm!

I had electric gates fitted September 2022 by Smartech, 100% aluminium to replace decaying wooden gates. The gates and the installation were superb - the team worked quietly and efficiently and had the job done in just over two days. The fit and finish is really beautiful, the new hardware is excellent, and from the way the team worked and finished the job I have high hopes that this installation will be more reliable and long-lasting that my old one, which was forever breaking down in wet weather or blowing open in the wind. They new gates are rock solid and they look really smart. Very reasonable prices, too. I wish I'd called in Smartech years ago.

Very knowledgeable and highly responsive people. It gives me lot of confidence in trusting Smartech to look after our home security installation and maintenance. You can’t go wrong with these people.

I'm very pleased with the service received from Smartech. Their quote was competitive but most of all the service was what impressed me. Normally after you pay a company for something you don't tend to see them again or get a good after sales service e.g. if something goes wrong, no one really helps. This is not the case with Smartech. Joe and his team are honest and helped me with queries after fitting the alarm system and even came over wen I changed my mind about having the system hard wired rather than just WiFi connected.
They have excellent industry/ product knowledge and don't take short cuts. Some sellers take shortcuts and hence they may offer you a cheaper quote but they wont do the job correctly! Smartech will follow UK standards and issue an nationally recognised certificate at the end of the job which is assuring.

If you want something that lasts - go with Smartech!

A great company to deal with. The installing technician was very helpful and flexible both during the initial consultation and when installing. We are very pleased with the outcome and now have a certified alarm installed. We were especially impressed with how they dealt with some minor teething problems.

I have a Pyronix Alarm which was installed by a previous engineer who I was unable to contact. I contacted the company by their form on the website giving my 1st and 2nd preferred appointment for alarm maintenance. The communication was good from Susan Thomas. The quotation was fast. I was quoted £120 for service, moving the panel to a different place £50 and renewal of app for Pyronix £25. On the day despite arriving an hour late Joe was very professional and did everything I asked to a high standard. I would recommend this company and I am a very happy customer.

I purchased two Lightsys 2 Alarm Systems from Smartech for my business and home. Jo couldn't have been more helpful with the setup and configuration of both systems.
