Extremely disappointed with thisâŠ
Extremely disappointed with this company. I paid for an order that I never received, yet I was told it was âdeliveredâ because it was left unattended at my door. That is not a secure or acceptable delivery method.
Customers should not be expected to lose their hard-earned money due to careless delivery practices. Simply dropping a package at a door without confirming receipt is irresponsible.
Whatâs even worse is the lack of accountability. After contacting customer service, no replacement or refund was offered. Instead, I was told to take it up elsewhere, which is completely unacceptable.
This experience shows a serious lack of customer care and responsibility. I will not be ordering from this company again, and I strongly caution others to think twice before purchasing, as you may end up in the same situation.

They really do a good job hyping up their company but God forbid if you have an issue like returning something. Theyâre so-called customer service wasted a day of my time going back-and-forth telling me to take my return to a store when I told them I am in a very remote location. There are no softmoc stores near me and I would like to return the item and exchange for a different size so needed a shipping label. After wasting all my time and asking me to repeat the same questions over and over and over again in emails and chats they did nothing so here I am stuck with a $200 pair of shoes that are the wrong size and I will have to pay $30 out of my pocket to return them. Well thatâs not going to happen and Iâm never buying from this company again and neither should you.

Went to buy slippers ad a gift at Abbotsford store, they were out of stock so I was sent to Coquitlam location (paid for slippers) to be told they had to come from Ontario, that's not what I was told at Abbotsford. Left and was called back to say they are in store and I was to.come back. Never will shop at SoftMoc again...total hassle and no one took responsibility! Poor service.

If there was a negative star that would be my experience I went to the 3 stores in Victoria to exchange some blundstones that was bought there and each place was a disaster in customer service and just over all knowledge. Waste of hours of time and I would never buy anything from them again.

Avoid this company
Unfortunately this company has zero value and respect for their customers. I highly suggest you never do the online exchange as they will never send your exchange item and the size you wanted will sell out in the meantime. My order was also delayed and took 10 days to arrive instead of the estimated 2 days. There was no notification, update or compensation on this. Their customer service chat is interesting as well, you are always speaking to a different person, it is never live they respond and close the chat each time so you wait hours for a response. Overall I would pay more for shoes somewhere else just to avoid any issues and having to reach out to their team which has never been helpful.

Terrible! I ordered winter boots for my son, it was fo his birthday. They claim they tried to deliver on the 5th of January but our cameras say otherwise! The sent the boots to a purolator centre an hour away from my house! They said we have to pick up within 6 business days or they will cancel our order. We canât take a day off work to drive an hour to pick up boots! Thatâs the whole point of having them delivered. Customer service was very unhelpful! They hung up on us serval times. Never shopping here again!

I saw the reviews here and was thinking twice about everything, but they had white leather converse at a $50 dollar discount so I ended up ordering them and received them in 2 days near the Eaton Centre in Toronto. Even though there are a bunch of bad reviews I had a great experience to be honest.
Horrendous experience
If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
My mom bought me a pair off Ugg winter boots for Christmas. As soon as she received the package she wrapped it.
I opened the gift on Christmas and wore them a couple days later to a friendâs house (not even 5 minutes on my feet). When I got to my friendâs house, my friends and I noticed they were not a match.
When I got home, I used the chat feature available. We got disconnected as the customer service representative took too long to get back to me after she gave me 2 options: to send back the shoes and get a 20% coupon for a future purchase or keep the shoes and receive a partial refund. When I asked how much Iâd be refunded as I need winter boots. She did not respond and we lost connection.
I then messaged again and got someone else. By then, I was informed the purchase was made outside of the 60 day return policy and they were âwornâ. When I asked mom and checked the purchase date, it was 62 days. Only 2 days over their policy for a mistake made on their end (providing mismatched shoes). Also, they were only on my feet for 5 minutes. They donât even look worn.
Mom paid almost $300 for the shoes and their only compensation was $30. In my opinion, what a horrible compensation. They were willing to give a refund if I could send back as well as 20% off my next purchase. They only gave back 10% for shoes that I will never wear again. They said there is absolutely nothing they could do.
Iâd understand if the weâre over 75 days or more. But they were only 2 days over their policy!! When I asked about holiday purchases. One of the representatives said they did not have one. My friend fact checked it and they indeed have a holiday policy. When I asked about it, they said the gift button wasnât clicked so itâs invalid. Wtf?
Iâd also understand if I had them on for days but I had them on for 5 minutes. People can try on shoes in a shoe store and try them for longer than 5 minutes and they arenât forced to buy the item because theyâre considered worn.
Overall, Iâm disappointed with my experience. Iâve learned from it and will never shop there again.
Terrible customer service
I am a customer who this year alone spent close to $1000 at your store. This year, in addition to two sets of Ugg slippers, 1 pair blundstones and 1 pair Converse I also bought a pair of Dr Martens for my daughter. She is a size 9 and I have not had issues ordering online for her with this size. The Dr Martens came, they are beautiful but about a 1/2 inch too big despite big even though they are a size 9. I am beyond my 60 days return because they were a Christmas present. I am very disappointed that I am being refused a return. They have never been used and are HUGE. No one in the house could use them. I thought that given the fact I am a good customer you would allow a return or size change. I have been emailed that it is not possible but I cannot believe that is true.
Will never shop SoftMoc again.
Iâm having an issue with SoftMoc for a price adjustment. They are so difficult to deal with including head office. They claim they need the box and unworn shoes brought back to do a price adjustment. If they have been worn, they will not complete the price adjustment. I explained this is not a return and was told it doesnât matter. I continued to ask to show me the price adjustment policy and they continued to ignore the fact that I wasnât returning shoes.
I later did the online chat where they were very helpful and they said as copied from the chat: For price adjustments on in-store purchases, you need to bring both the product and receipt to any SoftMoc store within our 60-day return policy period. The shoes CAN be worn - this isn't a return, so our associates just need to see the product to verify the purchase and process your price adjustment. You'll keep shoes and get the price difference which goes against the in person and phone call script I was given. I will go back again fueled from all of this frustration.
I will never shop at this company ever again.
Unwilling to exchange
I've been buying from SoftMoc for years and after this experience, I won't be ever again. I bought $300 winter boots. Tried different sizes in store and felt good. After some thought, ordered them online. The boot sizing felt perfect but after only 20 minutes of wearing them outside, they caused numbness and nerve pain that lasted hours after taking them off. I went to return them or exchange for a larger size as this might be the culprit for the pain. SoftMoc rejected my return even though they were barely worn. I now have these $300 boots that I can't wear. So disappointed.

I was a SoftMoc customer until this experience. I purchased nearly $300 Sorel boots that were worn fewer than ten times before the leather chipped. This was immediately dismissed in store as âwear and tear,â despite being inconsistent with normal use. Customer service has been unreachable despite repeated attempts. SoftMoc chose not to stand behind the product. I will not be shopping here again.
