I've distributed music with Ditto, CD Baby and DistroKid. Songtradr is by far my favorite. Whenever I need anything from them, the support team is always an email away and they usually get back within a day or two. I've yet to get any songs licensed through their sync portal and I'm not sure how many briefs they're getting these days, but as for a no-nonsense distributor they beat the competition in my opinion.

At first I believed in Songtradr but since 2022 Sontradr has experienced a setback, starting from the earnings report experiencing delays, until the payment is very, very slow, I withdraw payments from February 2, 2022 until now it has not yet arrived in my account, even though last year the delay was at least 2-3 today, and yesterday, on March 1, 2022, I made a withdrawal of funds so far it hasn't come in, if there is a problem I should be notified, I feel this site is a scam now because it's not clear where my funds are going, if you are a new musician, it's best not to use songtradr others, thank you

Songtradr is scamming users.
I am a victim of scam from Songtradr. Really disappointed that they did that to users like me.
First, they collect my important information to use for malicious purposes. I used to feel stressed every day when I received calls from every field to which I had never registered that number.
I see many pictures of myself on malicious websites.
In addition, they always have serious holes in the system every time users use it.
They took money from my music, it's an illegal act and I really feel disappointed in them.
There are also many other issues that I really don't understand.
Claim your rights back.
Songtradr, look at yourself!!!

Well, I've been uploading my songs on Songtradr for many years, but nothing was licensed. I also have another project and around 90 songs in total are useless. I guess they expose only the paid members' songs. Although I followed their guidelines to expose my songs, it was just a waste of time.
I found some users' songs were licensed even though they have less than 5-10 songs.
I can't trust a platform that gives me zero results. No success story from the bottom.

Never had a problem with them.
Amazing support and fast distributing system.
And few days ago a music of mine was licensed for a TV Show! :-)

I've been using their free service for 3 years. I'm not sure what the license policy is exactly, and none of my songs was licensed. They may have some kind of algorithm like other platforms. If even a song was licensed, I'd consider going pro user.
Thus, I can't tell if it is really worth it for the musicians.

My word of warning to you to join as a user of Songtradr

Having a reputation as a large platform to register music copyrights for artists, Songtradr did not expect Songtradr to be this bad. They took advantage of our information to do bad things, especially to sell outside, the second is that they did not pay the artist who used this Songtradr platform. They have tons of reasons to withhold users' funds and the verification procedures are so absurd and confusing... Even though I tried all the verifications they still didn't make any move to pay for it. users and there are still bad reasons... I have a lot of friends who have also been using this Songtradr platform and they also get a lot of discomfort about paying users. This is a very bad platform, hope you can read these reviews and improve before all users turn their backs on you!!!

All of my 13 songs that I uploaded released on time without any problem. However, taking down your song from streaming services is difficult and my song never did get taken down (it's been over a year since I emailed them). I also dislike the new verification process and I wish it would be removed, as it seems to have no regard for privacy.

Overall, I would recommend songtradr as it is reliable for release dates. However, if you care for privacy or want the peace of mind knowing your song can be taken down, I would recommend you stay away from songtradr.

You are making many very serious mistakes that damage your reputation.
+ Verification error: You give the method of identity verification is not standard, when verifying, it often has a face error, the camera you scan has to do it many times. Sometimes that error causes the account to not be verified for subsequent attempts.
+ Tax declaration: After completing KYC but still can't withdraw money to my account even before the new update, my account can still withdraw payment
+ Verification and Album Error : When uploading a track people can create an artist name different from the verified name, I think it's very normal, but you guys say we cheated. ..
+ Delete the album when you don't give us certain errors, you guys are very general...
I hope that you will soon improve all problems in the near future.

This is a blatant scam site, i upload my music products and ask them to release them to the markets, but i have not received any money from them, most of all my personal information seriously stolen, i was bothered and treated horribly by them, fu*k Songtradr

Don't sign up for Songtradr. It's a scam organization. They ask users to provide important information such as facial recognition, personal information. They use that information to serve bad needs, they sell the information to other organizations. That is really terrible. You will be revealed everything about yourself, which will be extremely dangerous. In addition, Songtradr also steals money from artists. They don't pay music royalties. They give very unreasonable reasons, they blame the maintenance system, very stupid problems so that the artist does not receive money.
We are becoming tools, puppets to make money for them without receiving a dime.
Be alert and stay away from them, a scam site.
Condemn Songtradr so they get the consequences they deserve.

+ Identity verification takes too much time, verification fails continuously, my security information is taken away by you.
+ My legitimate income you guys blatantly robbed
+ Arbitrarily delete My Album when not verified, check clearly
I hope you guys can fix that problem soon so that songtradr can grow more and bring more audiences

I trust your platform but you let me down, money doesn't pay? We have done all the verification steps even though those steps are really time consuming and useless but you still haven't sent us your money back. What a disappointment for a global music distribution platform!!! I really want you to reconsider this issue, I did it with all my heart but the result was scammed by you guys... Hope these reviews get a response and you guys will fix it soon! !!

I have provided my KYC documents completely correctly, sending you all our information. However you guys are a scam company.
My account only has 400-500 $ but you guys find all ways to lock and appropriate our money. It's my sweat, blood, and hard work for a year.
I urge the Trustpilot artist community to boycott Songtradr, there's no way such a bad service can exist.

It's terrible, songtradr they ask users to verify information with personal documents and then they sell that information to other parties. I was so worried when I heard this from some of my friends who work inside songtradr, Can't accept their way of doing this, they should be shut down for their behavior.

They terminated my account due to underage policy and even without prior notice and they totally terminated my account and they had'nt give any revenue to me and they did'nt taken down my releases due to which i am unable to release it through other distributor . I request them to recover my account and give me chance to reverify my age .

Songtradr payment service looks terrible, They keep artist royalties for 1-2 months without any withdrawal approval. And they do not have any information for customers. As if they were trying to find a way to take them.
We do support a few small artists who distribute music through Songtradr's system, but it seems everyone has this problem. Everyone is worried about where their music royalties will go. No one has received any money for the past 1 to 2 months
what's going on? Is something about to happen? SCAM ?
