Communications good, lone day late but no problem. Driver damaged plants, broke pot and disturbed compost heap. This has never happened before - they are usually excellent. Company very apologetic when I complained so will use again

Have used twice now - could be better with comms especially as on both instances delivery was beyond scheduled estimate of delivery and I had to chase to find out.
Further to Home fuels response - I rest my case - over 4 months to respond!!

Easy to order on line. Easy to phone if you have any queries. Delivered as agreed. A very efficient process.

Failed to deliver. Got one text message stating a problem with their vehicle. No more communication. Called a week later. Couldn’t give a new delivery date and refused to apologise.

A symptom of a lawless and unregulated industry. For no reason whatsoever, decide to stop delivering to specific postcodes. No prior notification. No remorse. The driver who attended last time was lovely. The price was competitive. Yet, this selfish behaviour means that if they ever grace our postcode again, they will never get our business. Foolish shortsightedness!

A reliable good old fashioned service with an intelligent and capable staff with their fine delivery drivers.
It makes all the difference and at a better price too.

Just contacted Local Fuels as let down by my current supplier. Very helpful man answered all my questions. Altough he was confident of their ability to deliver as specified, he didn't attempt to give me false promises.

Good communication from HO and always knew progress of order

Ordered heating oil for my elderly mothers home via Boilerjuice on the 20th March 2024. The delivery was assigned to Local Fuels with a deliver by date of 4th April. That date came with no delivery, but a re-scheduled date of Friday 5th April. Again, no delivery and no communication over that weekend. A call to Boilerjuice Customer Service on Monday morning assured me this would be a priority delivery and prompted an apology from Local Fuels and another scheduled delivery for Wednesday 10th April. So, now nearly a week overdue having been told it was a priority order. Apparently not a priority at all! They failed again to deliver. Third time, no explanation, no indication of when they may actually arrive. This caused my mother considerable anxiety and through fear of running out, the boiler was switched off. I sent an ultimatum to Boilerjuice on Wednesday evening, so Local Fuels did actually arrive on the Friday morning, 8 days late. They arrived to deliver the oil at my home, the wrong address, the wrong village. It beggars belief. Only by fortune my wife was at home and able to prevent that from happening. She had to give the driver directions to the correct village and then by phone direct him to my mothers address. It then needed a call to a neighbour to go and find the Local Fuels driver and show him the house and tank.
So the one star reflects Local Fuels actually putting oil in the tank. On Friday evening I visited and found the delivery note sleeve on the path and the delivery note in the neighbours front garden. So you couldn't even find the front door letter box ! All of which suggests to me that no delivery was ever intended to be made on the previous scheduled dates or you would at least have noted the correct address. That I find deceitful. A week on and no explanation from either party. Surprisingly, no email request for a service feedback either. Just appalling.

Two months ago I ordered oil from you and you asked me to tell you how you could improve. So I did, saying that you delivered on the last day of a two week window and providing oil earlier would be an improvement. I ordered again on Jan 31st. Guess what? Oil arrived on the last day of the two week window. Which shows you either don't read reviews or take no notice of them.

Local Fuels cannot be beaten for excellent local knowledge, helpful drivers, professionlism, an easy to use website for ordering, a range of delivery options from urgent to flexible and always offers a competitive price. Other suppliers con customers into thinking they're getting a good deal with an introductory discount but this always works out more expensive even with a discount. Personally I wouldn't buy my fuel anywhere else..

Oil delivered on time and with good communication. Ordering process easy, and altogether a very efficient service.

Great customer service. Missed original delivery but showed up next working day during the most busy time of the year. Highly recommend Local Fuels for best effort, competitive pricing and helpful staff.
