Brought two hoodies from them in December. Said order will take 7-10 working days. Still haven’t received it and the website doesn’t appear to work anymore. No tracking # either.

Unfortunately I have to give Spartan Gym Gear 1 star. I ordered and received the Olympic weight set without any hitches: purchase and delivery was good. However, the quality of the weights are not up to scratch. There are chips in the outer material covering the metal, making them look second hand. I contacted customer support and was immediately contacted by Sid. Who asked for pictures and gave me an email to send these to. I sent these pictures, followed up with two more emails asking for comment. No one has replied. No one has acknowledged any of my emails. The only thing i can think of is that this has gone into their junk mail. But without a phone number to call (yes, Sids email was without signature or phone number). So now, i have to leave this poor review. I will not recommend dealing with this company. They do not appear to want to be proactive in fixing their defective items.

I ordered bumper weights which were delivered 10 days later than the email confirmation and when trying to chase order your only option is email has no telecom is available?? not the best when you have parted with monies.

Great product works really well just took 4 weeks to arrive

Plates are fantastic. The paint where the barbell goes will run off a little when u slide them on but for the price really not a big deal for me. Shipping was hasle free and fairly quick for the amount of weight i ordered. I would say this is a great budget set of plates that are very thin and versatile for at home use. If u want better quality its almost double the price.

Oh gosh where do I start!!!!
I ordered some weights however within an hour I cancelled said order. I emailed Spartan direct to explain.
The next morning I had heard nothing so I emailed again telling them to cancel and to not dispatch. I still heard nothing.
I tried to contact them through ‘contact us’ on their website as they have NO TELEPHONE NUMBER. Still no contact.
The weights then arrive 3 days later.
I don’t open the boxes.
I try to make contact a number of times through email, Instagram and messenger and finally after 8 days Spartan contact me and say I can have a refund however I must return the goods at my own cost.
I had already spent £30 for a delivery I tried to cancel and then after days of research, I found someone who would do it for £60.
I get the goods delivered back. Meanwhile I’ve still emailed them asking to consider paying for the return as it was not all my fault.
I’ve now returned the goods and still am awaiting refund and no one in any of the few correspondences has even said about the extra cost to myself for return.
I was told a refund would be issued last week. Not happened.
I’ve now started researching small claims court.

Truly awful service.
It has taken an age to get a response regarding a damaged delivery and when I asked for a refund after a considerable wait I was told that the damaged weight bar could be collected and refunded or exchanged, but the weights that were part of the set with the bar I would be liable for the cost to get them returned.
Stay away if you want to deal with a company who are contactable and respond within the timelines they say and offer reasonable solutions.

Great service one plate was slightly chipped was given small cash compensation in return

Good solid gym gear happy with the product.
Would of been a 5 star if it come out the correct colour.
Communication wasn't the best either.

Ordered a set of Olympic plates on Wednesday night; they were dispatched on Thursday and delivered on Friday! Can't ask for much better than that! Cheers Spartan!!

Great bit off equipment only downside was delivery time but can’t blame them due to the current situation

Bought a barbell a few months ago, unfortunately one of the end pieces on a sleeve came off when it was taken out of the packaging, so I've had to periodically superglue it back on, to stop it falling down and letting the weights beyond the sleeve.

Price and delivery was fine, though item quality obviously needs some work.

Ordered 20kg plates on the 1st had no correspondence until the 12th when I opened case on paypal due to not hearing anything from them.

Pretty disappointed in customer service. Would have waited if you had allowed me the chance to respond before you just closed the case on PayPal you was to hasty and lost business.

Top quality equipment. Good service.

Good quality metal plates. They look good but the black finish scratches really easy (But thats only if you care about asthetics which i dont)

The products turned up weeks late.

The communication from the company was really poor.

Very dissapointed in the service.

Have been using my bar & weights now for about a week. The customer service was fantastic, given the the length of time some other larger retailers have taken, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I got a response and how helpful they customer advisor was. The quality of the goods is high, it maybe could benefit from the handles of the weights being a bit rounded so they didn’t cut into your hands as much when using just the weight plate (not that it left any damage was just would’ve been a nicer grip). The only like negative-ish thing is the length of time it took for them to come (up to three weeks) BUT in fairness they very clearly label this so it wasn’t their fault I just wanted them sooner.

Would of got 5 starts if the delivery wasn’t such a joke took a whole month to come ,my barbell and plates couldn’t say anything bad about them perfect
