Heidi was fantastic, she provided honest, genuine feedback on my speech and didn't propose changes just for changes sake. She was incredibly efficient, responded quickly to all emails and I would definitely use this service again, although hoping I only get married once!

The company had a few technical issues when I started, but the customer service has been outstanding. I used the SpeechyAI, and the prompts gave some great avenues for what to include in the speech. Some bits needed to be altered to be more 'in my voice' but that's expected.

Fantastic service which I used for my grooms speech and then my first best mans speech - no pressure! Heidi and the team did an amazing job helping me craft a speech which felt balanced, personal, funny and engaging. I had so many positive comments from the attendees of both events. The experience made me feel much more confident about public speaking in the future! Would not hesitate to recommend the team at Speechy!

I cannot tell you how helpful Heidi and the speechy team were to me. I was so very nervous about giving my Mother of the Bride speech. I'd written pages but didn't really feel like I was making progress... and I certainly didn't have confidence... I am not comfortable with public speaking. I unreservedly recommend Speechy and, especially, Heidi. Heidi did an EXCEPTIONAL job, guiding me to what would and wouldn't work in my FOB speech, adding punch and fun, eliminating fluff and steering me away from stuff that might not be relevant to a larger crowd. She really helped me shorten my overly lengthy draft, without losing the storyline. Just as importantly, Heidi provided really valuable feedback and perspectives on how the speech would be received - a big confidence booster despite my having made countless business presentations. Heidi and her team were amazing in drafting me a groom speech for our wedding. The process was simple to follow and the questionnaire was great at helping me recall a lot of memories to use in my speech. The end result was amazing and the speech went down as a hit.

I used the speech editing service, as Best Man, and it was excellent on all counts. Super responsive from start to finish and the editing made all the difference; helping to shape and refine my speech, making it funnier and more coherent! Really worth the money for peace of mind in the run up to a scary day!

Update: I am adding this to my previous review because Speechy acted swiftly to completely correct the issue. The out-dated speech templates were removed within a day and were entirely rewritten in less than 10 days. The new templates do not perpetuate harmful stereotypes and are positive toward women. Thank you Speechy for taking my feedback seriously.

Original review: I chose to purchase the Maid of Honor speech template to help get my ideas flowing for my best friend's upcoming wedding. I was disappointed to find that all of the templates had a very sexist and/or out-of-date tone. For example, there is one template that uses a Homer Simpson quote that compares a woman to a nuclear reactor, saying that you just have to read the manual and press the right button. A quote used in another template reads, "When a woman says nothing’s wrong, everything’s wrong. And when a woman says everything’s wrong, EVERYTHING’S wrong".
Overall, the speeches all have a cringy happy-wife-happy-life narrative. I hoped that at least one of them would skip the "woman are difficult, so buckle up" tropes and have a more modern perspective, but that was not the case. For me, it was a waste of money.

I may not have been absolutely word perfect but there was laughter, surprise and applause for my FOTB speech. As the Groom at my wedding, I wanted to give a speech that would hit all the right notes of thankful, funny, and memorable on our special day. I've done two speeches as best men speech in the past and thought I could do a good groomsman speech. I really struggled to find a balance between not being too soppy and making it funny for both my wife and our guests. I decided to go for the full speech writing service and they delivered a fantastic speech for me. It was warm, funny and flowed really well.
