We sold our van to Spinney
We sold our van to Spinney and they were a pleasure to work with. Honest, transparent, efficient and good fun. Ian ‘the driver’ got up at silly o’clock to collect the van. He’s a superstar. I could’ve talked to him all day. ‘Salt of the earth’ special fella.
We will use Spinney for all our future Motorhome purchases. Highly recommend.

Excellent Customer Service
A regular customer for 6 years continued with the recent purchase of a new motorhome. Always receive a very friendly and professional reception from everyone at the branch. The new motorhome required a couple of dealer-fit options and other sub-contract work which was all completed on time to the usual excellent standard.

From start to finish the care we received from spinney was excellent, nothing was too much bother, we were given plenty time to swap over our belongings from one motorhome to our new one. Things that we decided that we needed on the new van got changed over, and other items were ordered to be fitted at a later date, I look forward to having a happy relationship with Spinney in the future.

Spinney Caravans - amazing!
Brilliant service from start to finish. From the very first day we visited, we were given plenty of time to look around without any pressure. We even came back a second time, and the team were just as helpful—answering all our questions with patience and clarity.
On collection day, they truly went above and beyond. Everything was explained thoroughly, and no question was dismissed or made to feel silly. Every member of staff was friendly, approachable, and easy to talk to.

Smooth purchase from start to finish
Smooth purchase from start to finish. Good communication and on collection day all went smoothly. Mark did the handover and was fab. Neil showed us over the operations of the new MH and again was fab. Very well explained and no issues. Smooth transaction from start to finish. This is our second purchase with Spinney and would highly recommend.

What can we say
What can we say, We were looking for a specific motorhome and have been struggling to find the one, until we came to the Spinney and meet mark.
He couldn’t have been anymore helpful and has been true to his word, from buying our motorhome and sorting everything out that we wanted in the new motorhome.
It really felt like we were dealing with a friend and not the sales manager.
We will be back when we are ready to trade in again in a few years time.
We also have mark on speed dial for any issues that we have going forward

Very poor customer service.
Customer service was ok up until the point where i paid my deposit. A short while after paying the deposit my circumstances had changed which meant that i could no longer have the vehicle i had reserved. After numerous attempts and false promises to get a call back over a period of a couple of weeks so i could explain, i had to drive the best part of a 4 hour round trip to visit the showroom. I explained my circumstances which were out of my control and requested a refund of my substantial deposit or even just part of it and would be happy to cover any costs incurred by the business by taking the vehicle off the market for that very short period of time but was refused point blank and was told they would be keeping the money!!. After this experience, I must say i am pleased i did not purchase from Spinney as i wonder what the after care would have been like if i would have had a problem with the vehicle. A VERY bad experience to say the least.

Thank you for your recent correspondence.
We understand that you placed an order for a new Elddis Vogue CV80 on 7 April 2026 and paid a £1,000 deposit at the time of signing your order form.
For clarity, we would like to draw your attention to the statement directly above your signature on the order form, which confirms:
“This order cannot be cancelled. All part exchanges are subject to a full inspection. For full terms and conditions see overleaf. This document contains the terms and conditions of your contract. Only sign if you wish to be legally bound by them.”
In addition, section 5.4 of the terms and conditions states:
“In the case of cancellation, the deposit shall be forfeited. Unless specifically detailed in writing on the order, the Purchaser’s liability will not exceed the full value of the deposit.”
We would also like to confirm that the finance application for the vehicle had been approved by the lender.
Following a review of your recent conversations with our Sales Team, we note that on 29 April 2026 you expressed an interest in exploring a Volkswagen camper as an alternative to the CV80. Unfortunately, we were unable to offer a suitable option from our current stock. You also mentioned locating a Pilot vehicle with another dealer and requested that we source this on your behalf; however, our Sales Manager correctly advised that this was not something we could accommodate.
While we fully appreciate your request for a refund, we must adhere to the terms and conditions agreed upon at the time of purchase. As such, the deposit is non-refundable.
That said, your £1,000 deposit will be retained on your account for a period of 12 months. Should you decide to proceed with the purchase of an alternative vehicle within this timeframe, the deposit can be applied toward your new order.
If you would like to discuss available options or need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to help.

Great Service at Spinney Cheshire
From the minute we walked through the door the service was exceptional. We were allowed to browse the vehicles without being pestered. When we were ready to discuss a motorhome purchase we were directed to someone who could assist. The process was seamless and we didn’t feel rushed. They answered any and all our questions even after we left the showroom. The day of collection went really well and the handover was extremely helpful and thorough. We would highly recommend Spinney Cheshire.

Caravan service with great staff
Put my caravan in for a service and they were just wonderful. We were met by Sue when we collected the van, she couldn’t have been more helpful and more friendly. She explained to us in great detail what been done and ensured we didn’t have any issues. We will certainly be returning and would urge anyone looking for a new caravan or need help to contact them. First class service
Have visited spinney for over 15years. Finally bought our second caravan. The service is always first class. They always have time to answer any questions you may have. Their stock is first class. I would like to single out Ray Bedows. We have tortured him for years tyre kicking but he always had time to say hello. He did us a great deal on our new van. Thanks Ray & all the team at Spinney.

Having been a regular customer over the…
Having been a regular customer over the years and have spent a considerable amount of money i was dismade to see some members of staff that standards have not improved for certain members with uniforms or appearance, for example we came in to look at upgrading our caravan on Thursday 23rd April which was fine we then went into the shop and was greated by one of your staff his manners were something to be disired his uniform was poor and in need of replacing, i do feel that this particular gent does lower the standards, i hope this can be addressed and when we call in again our visit will have improved.

We do take presentation and customer service seriously, although our approach to uniform has become more relaxed to reflect a more comfortable, leisure-focused environment. That said, we understand how this can impact first impressions.
Regarding the team member you mentioned, we’d like to share that he has recently undergone surgery and is currently wearing more comfortable clothing to support his recovery. We hope you can appreciate that his wellbeing is a priority while he returns to full duties.
We’re also sorry if his manner came across as less than welcoming, that’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and we will address this with the team to ensure our usual high standards are maintained.
