I’m very disappointed with this company. Initially I signed up for several products on subscription as I was very happy with the effectiveness of the products and keen to reduce the plastic cost to the environment. Unfortunately, due to constant supply issues with many of my choices being continually out of stock I’ve decided to give up and go elsewhere. A big shame, as I really hoped this would work for me.

Useless. How can you rely on products like these when they can’t get their supply chain sorted? Most popular items are always out of stock. Great concept but delivered like a toddler is running the organisation. Back to buying plastic bottles.

I really like the concept but the website and availability make it very difficult to get. I was subscribed to the shampoo, conditioner, toilet cleaner and hand wash which I think are great products but somehow all of these subscriptions were cancelled (I think when there was an update to the website) I have not been able to resign up to the shampoo and conditioner as it is always out of stock. I find it a bit demoralising that I’ve had to go back to buying new bottles and that I’ve spent months checking the not very user friendly website and never managing to sign up again- I think I will give up on getting the conditioner and shampoo again as i find the process of waiting for the restock and using the unhelpful website annoying.

I am a new user and was referred to this company by a friend. I am using it for the convenience more than anything as I have a small rental and limited storage. Also I needed vegan friendly as more and more clients are vegan.
So I love the concept, some products I like, some I don't, so it is no different to any other company - most have no excellent products across the whole range and you need to buy from few different businesses to arrive at the range which is best individually suited.
My biggest issue is the website. In 2023 anyone with mediocre skills can launch a better website through platforms such as Wix. The information on products is lacking, for example toilet bowl cleaner replacement cap - what is the purpose of it? Is it different from the actual empty bottle, does it dose cleaner or is it just a replacement cap if the original breaks? Also for example 'The gift that keeps refiling' - you need to read the whole paragraph to find the scent in which each product comes in. Just by looking at any random website it becomes apparent that such information is easiest read when in bullet points. Also suggestion to buy refills in the same scents, on any descent website, would be the obvious.
It seems like the person in charge of design process (for both the website and product packaging) has very limited understanding of what good user friendly website is, or of what consumer needs are not from the product standpoint. The example is this - how a person with not 20/20 vision should identify which is shampoo and which bottle is shower gel without having to put glasses in the shower and read miniscule while letters on light background bottle, without prior identifying bottles by colour? I use very mild prescription glasses when my eyes are tired, but every time I step into shower I have to align your bottles in the order of use so I don't start spreading the conditioner on shower lily.
While I am having a rant about design - wouldn't it be more simple option to have bottles in a different shape, for example rectangle, instead of fat bottomed ones to fit them in small British cabinets without wasting valuable space? We are not in the US where storage spaces are plenty and especially in cities every inch of cabinet space matters.
I will continue to use your products for the foreseeable future, and I hope you can fix your website by firing current developers, or if you are designing it yourselves - find a person who can do a proper job, and will address such issues as microscopic white letters in a light background on bottles.

Amazing shampoo and great customer care service. I'm now going to try the conditioner!

The products are good but availability is poor. I've been waiting for shampoo refills to be back in stock in order to place my order and get free delivery for multiple refills, however it hasn't been in stock for a long time. This means I've now run out of most products and am having to go back to buying from elsewhere

Really love these products. Must admit I did return to the dark side for a while, but I soon realised that I’d lost the space under my sink and missed the lovely natural scents. The products all perform well and the bottles are sturdy and work well. Particular mention for the fabric conditioner. It’s clear and non greasy and smells wonderful, even using the tiiiiniest amount. Both the cotton flower and lavender are beautiful. They also sell dishwasher tablets that are mercifully unscented, so don’t leave your plates tasting of lemon etc. The refills are great - take up no room to store and are far more economical than they first appear. Many eco products aren’t that effective - these work.

July 2022 5 star - Overall I'd give this company a five-star rating for every product I have tried except the dishwasher tablets. The Splosh bottles are very well-designed, & practical in everyday use.

Made in Wales, the UK which reduces the distribution & shipping miles & fuel compared to rival products produced overseas. Subscriptions are easy to adjust as needed. Pouch refills are returnable, making this a great zero-waste option for those with busy lives.

Household Products
Loo Cleaner - this was a gem of a find & the star of the range. At last, an eco loo cleaner that actually works! I'd given up believing it was even possible. Very impressed and have this on repeat subscription. Lovely clean fresh natural scent.

Bathroom Cleaner - This works well and smells nice too. Again we have it on repeat subscription. The spray bottle is effective, and the mechanism looks sturdy enough to stay the course. The scented variant is refreshing but not overpowering or chemically. I like that an unfragranced option is available for those who need it.

Kitchen Cleaner
This is effective and does the job it is supposed to do. Have dropped the bottle a couple of times to no ill effect. The melon scent is a fresh sweet natural smell that doesn't put you off your food, but our preference is the zesty citrus. Another product that is worthy of a repeat subscription.

Non- Bio Laundry liquid.
With soft water, you get slightly more refills than stated since like the handwash the liquid is so concentrated. Love the dispenser bottle as it stops my dyspraxic son from adding half a bottle to one load. The cleaning power is excellent even at low temperatures and thus it's ideal for use on delicate fabrics. Good for handwashing too, which makes it a keeper, and on subscription despite the price being a bit higher than I'd like. We tried the peony scent to start, not overly keen on florals so switched my subscription to the cotton scent.

Bio Laundry Powder.
Excellent cleaning power. Very concentrated so you need less than you think, which is why it is so helpful that the attractive tin comes with a scoop. Fab product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Great on whites, and stinky dog beds. My only quibble is that I feel the price is quite high. Fab product if you can afford it.

Stain remover
Does what it says on the bottle, which is the ideal shape for spot-cleaning. Non-scented. Another Splosh product worthy of a repeat subscription.

Washing up liquid.
This product is an absolute joy! Soft water means I get slightly more than the stated number of refills. On a par with Fairy for cleaning, and outperforms other eco brands. The scents are gorgeous, and the bottle is very practical in design. The grapefruit scent is our favorite though I occasionally use the lime to switch up the changes. The space-saving advantage of the pouch means I have switched my subscription to Splosh from another well-known (but less effective) eco brand.

Dishwasher tablets - oh dear. After the success of all the other products we have tried, these were very disappointing. Should be withdrawn from sale until the formula can be improved.

Personal Products
Handwash -
We get more than the advertised number of refills per bottle with our soft water so tis fab value for money. A very high-quality product, that is suitable for cooks, tradesmen, and gardeners. We adore the mint scent, so this is on repeat subscription. Wish there was a mint hand lotion to match. The blackberry scent surprised us because it's slightly floral. Not an offensive scent, but not our personal preference. The plastic bottle is sturdy enough to survive clumsy kids in a busy household.

Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash Gift set.
This was a very well-presented gift. The shampoo and conditioner are perfect for all but the very greasiest or driest of Type 1 & 2 textures. Both smell great.

Bodywash - Love this product. The Ginger scent is ideal for wake-up calls any time of the year. Very refreshing. Been dropping hints that I would like refills as a gift on this one ;)

Ideas for future product development.

Personal Care products contain SLS, so would like to see future products without this common irritant. Would love a mint hand lotion!

Dishwasher Tablets
This is the product that currently lets down the range & needs urgent reformulating. Very attractive storage tin.

September 2024 - update
Subscriptions have become very unreliable indeed. So many products are constantly out of stock! I have had to downgrade my original review as I can no longer be sure that the products I want will arrive on time. So disappointed as I was rooting for the success of this Welsh company. On a positive note, the bottles I bought 7 years ago are still all going strong, with no need to replace any parts. Shame I can't refill them with Splosh products.

Without doubt, the worst dishwasher tablets I have ever used. Repeatedly poor results. A total waste of money,

I have been using their dishwasher tablets and wrote a poor review as they do not wash that well and are average at best. I wrote a review on their site with 3 stars, but they responded how I could make them work better. I tried this for a few more months and my opinion is the same. I wrote another review after writing to them to post my original review. Neither have been posted on their site. I suspect this is because the last review (5 stars of course) otherwise is July on this product (or have they just not been publishing other poor reviews). Their last non-5 star in this product is from August 2020, so quite likely not posting the poor reviews. Unsurprisingly, this product shows as average of 5 stars... They claim to be ethical in their products - too bad not as ethical in the their own website product review process.

Used The kitchen grease remover spray for about a year until I noticed kitchen worktops were getting stickier I thought maybe they were old and the surface was deterioting,so I decided to try another kitchen spray and off come all the sticky grease build up, never will I use it for kitchens again, but do use the bathroom cleaner which is a shame as I always use eco friendly but unfortunately didn't live up to the job

I use most of their products. As a professional housekeeper I've used many products in my time but love Splosh. No chemicals or nasty skin reactions, great for the environment and animals , they smell lush and great value too.
Just fangirling about the mint hand wash. Oh my. Heaven.

Just had my final infuriating refilling of the washing up liquid bottle. The concentrate simply clumps when the warm/hot water is added. I won't be buying this again.

Brilliant company with amazing, affordable products that work really well. We’ve been using their washing up liquid, laundry liquid, and fabric condition, hand wash, shower gel, and kitchen and bathroom cleaning products for a few years and are honestly so impressed - I love how much plastic we are saving and that all products are vegan. Subscriptions are easy to set up - and to change. Any emails are responded to quickly and in a friendly and professional manner (even when I’ve made an error, they have sent free products!)! I can’t imagine using another company!

Great company. I love how easy it is to take care of your home and the planet. The products are good quality and have great prices. I have already recommended Splosh to most of my friends and will continue to do so.

Brilliant concept for zero waste eco cleaning. The stain remover even got cherry juice out of my daughter’s white school shirt! I want to refuse plastic waste but hate the idea of sharing soap bars so Splosh liquid soap is perfect. Very happy with our Splosh buys so far. The toilet cleaner doesn’t work like bleach would but it doesn’t claim to.

Great company - love the hand soap refills, bathroom cleaning sorry is very strong so be sure to use in an open well ventilated area otherwise the fumes might make you cough a lot, overall good products

Really impressed with the products. It takes a few attempts to get the mix "right" for the washing up liquid if using your own container but we've got there now and we're ordered more products

I’ve used Splosh products for a couple of years now and am so pleased that I made the switch. Obviously the eco credentials are what drew me in but the products themselves are brilliant.

The laundry products are perfectly comparable with the big brands and I personally prefer these scents. I’ve also used the kitchen cleaner, washing up liquid (grapefruit is the best!), shower gel, hand wash, toilet cleaner, glass cleaner and dishwasher tablets. All brilliant, especially now that the laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets come in giant pouches!

The only products I wouldn’t repurchase are the bathroom cleaner and floor cleaner because I prefer to use antibacterial products. But they worked perfectly fine.

Fantastic products. Love the kitchen cleaner! Smells divine. Have also tried the floor cleaner, shower gel, toilet cleaner and bathroom cleaner with great success.
Love the ethos of this company. So great to feel you are a part of the anti plastic revolution.
Friendly company to deal with. Highly recommended.
