I write (positive review) about their female-only ensuite dorm of St Christopher's Inn in Edinburgh, Scotland. I stayed in women's ensuite room with a few bunk beds. Booking was easy, price was great, staff were efficient, location is fantastic, room was clean with a cleaner attending once every hour day time so clean shower and toilet, basic breakfast was cute, and luckily when I stayed, other guests were quiet, considerate and ideal roommates to sleep along with, without any party crazy drunks being loud, so it was all a lovely experience and I slept well; quiet, clean, safe, comfortable and a fantastic value for money. I'd recommend to other solo female travellers to use the women's ensuite dorm here.

No issues. Just perfect. Nice food with 25% off. Good music and bar area. TV's around bar area. Nice crowd of people staying at hostel and tourist just visiting for drinks. Rooms nice and clean. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly. Right in heart of city centre. Will be going back in August 2020.
Plus: have curtains for privacy when sleeping or just relaxing.
All staff are nice and friendly.

You get what you pay for. Thats all i can say

St. Christophers Inn Paris. Review of the hostel is not possibile due to the fact that I am sitting outside right now with a private arrangement blocking everything but the dorms. For a hostel branding itself of the cozyness of it's bar etc., it is quite amazing to arrive at 10pm at the hostel and see the entire hostel blocked out and restricted due to a private party.
Money speaks, this hostel clearly do not care a bit about it's reputation or it's actual clients staying the night.

Be aware of this place might be blocked out for private arrangements!!

I would strongly recommend st Christopher’s. The value is outstanding. Usually one of the cheaper hostels but they give you breakfast and they are always clean! Whenever I go to a new city, I try to find St Christopher’s first.

My sister and I went to the one in Paris at Gare du Nord. She’s 16 and I’m 21. It said in their policy that they had an age restriction but didn’t specify it. We booked two beds in a dorm and honestly didn’t think much more about is. We should have cause the policy happened to be “no one under 18 allowed”. So when we arrived in Paris we couldn’t stay there and the were completely incapable of helping us in any way -too bad... It’s fair enough that they have such a restriction but they should make it more clear and at least be able to help us find something else! Bad service to be honest!
