Start Engine is a great way to invest in new startups! Very easy to review companies and process all payments through their platform.

For being a first time user of a platform like this. I have had very few issues, problems or questions. I may have an android phone, however, everything Google related is asleep or deleted. Unlinked from either Apple, Facebook or Google. Running the same programs as on my laptop, it's a seamless transition. The company's that I have invested in maintain a continuous open dialog. It's easy to see how they are growing and the progress of projects.

I have issues logging in with Safari and have to use a google search engine which makes no sense. I can log into both but my portfolio if using Safari show $0
and with Google shows the correct amount.
This wasn't mentioned as an issue when I asked for help. And I don't know why it is an issue but sharing in case help.

The process is very easy to use. I had my account setup in less than 20 minutes.

Easy to invest from start to finish. The guidelines were clear. Information was provided as to the minimum investment amount and how much each share was worth. The link to previous company performance was available to review.

Website safety is where it needs to be with MFA turned on. The company is has been fantastic over the years and its growth numbers are great. They need to do one thing better which is force their listing companies to provide updates consistently. They don't all make it, that's a known risk but allowing zero communication to investors is not fair.

At first I was skeptical but after research I took the step forward to invest. With all the emails and updates my mind is at ease. Every step to become an investor is secure. Another reason why I moved forward in investing.

I recently heard about a new investment opportunity with FanBase. It brought me thru start engine to complete the process. I will definitely invest in more opportunities like start engine itself and more. It was a very easy process.

Start Engine makes it very easy for a beginner investor. It is a seemless process to get the information needed on the companies that are raising funds that help with the decision making process. It is also easy to invest.

Very easy platform to navigate and find all the information you need to make an informed decision. The valuation is easy to find unlike other platforms. StartEngine even has a discussion page to ask questions to the founders in which other platforms do not offer.

I never really imagined bring able to invest without some form of middleman all in my business....sotospeak

Overall, StartEngine offers a good angel investing experience for the masses. The app is easy to use/navigate and finding companies to invest in is also easy. However, selling stocks on their secondary market (which at least they have in place) is extremely difficult and very user unfriendly. It’s so hard to find a willing buyer or navigate the selling screens. In addition, when companies on the app go IPO, your stocks are held by some middle man holding company and transferring the stocks to your own portfolio held by fidelity or whoever can be a chore. It’s also a lengthy process, which results in lost money generally as the shares devalue after IPO. Finally, the customer support team can be unhelpful and combative at times. They dont seem to care about making the app better for its users particularly.

I found it easy to research and choose among profitable investments. I will return to StartEngine.
