I have recently been through a family law case, being represented initially by Emma Gibson and then Chelcie Evans. From start to finish, they have been nothing but supportive, helping me navigate a difficult situation and recommending and instructing a fantastic barrister in Arrin Nouri to support my case. Navigating the family court process has been one of the most difficult experiences I've faced in my life, and having the right solicitor has made an enormous difference.
Emma Gibson has been a calm, steady, and reassuring presence throughout. She combines professional expertise with genuine empathy, and shows a clear understanding of the complexities involved in highly sensitive family situations. I have always felt truly listened to and supported.
What I particularly value about Emma is her honesty and clarity. Emma explains everything in a straightforward way, sets realistic expectations, and is transparent about risks and possible/probable outcomes. She offers thoughtful, strategic guidance while being very clear about the limitations and realities of the process, which I find grounding and reassuring. I do not want someone to inadvertently raise my expectations about what is a horrendous process; I want honesty and clarity. We are still not through but I trust Emma implicitly.
Emma communicates with great care and consideration. For example, she now heads emails in particular ways and will take the time to call ahead of sending important emails to ensure that there is no confusion - something that makes an enormous difference during a stressful time.
Emma is highly attuned to the emotional aspects of complex cases. She handles matters with sensitivity, respect and professionalism, while remaining focused and effective in her role.
Throughout (and, as I say, we are still not 'done'), I have felt that she is fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome for me and my children, always acting with integrity, diligence and care.
I would not hesitate to recommend Emma to anyone in need of a family law solicitor, particularly in complex or sensitive circumstances

Molly Brindley and Courtney Litwinko-Smith have been exceptional in supporting me through my divorce and Financial Remedy. Their guidance has always been prompt, honest, and clearly shaped by strong experience and foresight. Further to my recent review about Stowe’s appalling service, other than the noted reply I have had no feedback whatsoever. I have just rung the Divorce Service Centre to obtain a copy of the Final Order as this was never given to me by Stowe. They confirmed that it was sent on 15th July, in their words ‘100% certain it was sent’. Stowe denied any knowledge of it (email kept as proof). So I spent over £12,000, had no formal legal advice because I couldn’t afford the pensions on divorce expert & didn’t even receive the formal paperwork. Absolutely appalling
