Keep away from this company 9 months with them still nothing been done just requesting money money literally paid thousands out and I honestly don’t no what for there’s been nothing to show for it still trying to get some kind of resolution it’s a joke .

My solicitor was Amy Turner who has been fantastic during a very difficult and stressful time with my divorce.
Amy made obvious efforts to be available wherever possible and her advice and guidance throughout was not only accommodating to my interests, but also realistic and achievable, resulting in a more favourable outcome than I was expecting.

Excellent service
Many thanks to Amy Turner for her support through a very difficult time. From the first meeting, she was understanding and empathetic about my situation and always explained everything clearly, ensuring I understood my options, next steps and what I needed to do to move the process forward. She also always responded promptly to any queries I raised and ensured there was always a colleague with knowledge of my case who could assist if she was on leave, etc.
Amy dealt effectively with the delays caused by my ex’s refusal to engage with the process and worked incredibly hard to ensure we could get the terms of the financial order agreed without a further court hearing, therefore saving me a significant amount in costs, in spite of the lack of cooperation from the other side.
I was also impressed with Stowe’s collaborative working culture which meant that when tricky issues came up, Amy consulted appropriately with specialist colleagues to ensure she was providing the best advice she could.

Exceptional Service

At a really challenging and difficult time, Sarah Townsend has guided me through the process and supported me every step of the way. Divorce with Stowe family…
The whole experience with Stowe family law was very positive. All the staff I dealt with were helpful , considerate and always happy to go the extra mile to help me.
Beth Sheridan worked with me to complete my divorce and she was excellent from start to finish. She made what was an awful situation to be in so much better through her advice , suggestions and the manner in which she dealt with me. Beth was always at the end of the phone line or happy to meet me to discuss anything I had concerns with. She was caring and thoughtful in her approach and always worked hard to make sure I came through the divorce with the best possible outcome.
I felt so much more confident knowing I had Beth guiding me through the process.
Thanks to Beth I was very happy with my final situation
Beth really is fantastic and I would highly recommend her.

Meeting to discuss divorce
All the questions I asked were answered in a way which was clear to me and other points I hadn’t thought were also addressed. Made me feel very comfortable and on the back of this will use Stowe’s when I finally go for a financial order with regards to my divorce. Many thanks

Astronomical costs, weak advice, poor representation leading to a financially disastrous outcome
Despite the astronomical fees (in excess of £126k!), Stowe unilaterally failed to represent me robustly and uphold my best interests during my divorce case. Instead they allowed significant fees to mount up whilst taking a weak and passive stance around my position. They spectacularly failed to represent me effectively around a number of fundamental and critical material factors especially during the closing stages of the Final Arbitration process leading to a financially disastrous outcome. Their focus was clearly on how they could generate income from my misfortune evidenced not least through the solicitor leading my case being promoted three times on top of the usual periodic fee increases. This entire process has left me financially and emotionally exhausted with absolutely NOTHING to show for it. My advice would be NOT to use this firm under any circumstances

Stowe Family Law Review - Alex Hughes
My solicitor, Alexandra Hughes, was amazing throughout the whole process. She always managed to get the tone right and I felt incredibly supported.
I always felt like there was someone in my corner, and her advice was exemplary. I never had any issues getting in touch with her, and most times she answered emails almost instantly. It was also very easy to speak to her on the phone when need be.
I was impressed by the range of knowledge that was applied, as my case was not straight forward.
I would highly recommend Stowe Family Law, they are not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for and they are worth every penny.
