Would highly recommend Stowe in particular Mr James Leach, they are very professional, helpful and with humility in my divorce.

When I was going through the worst time in my life, I was fortunate enough to speak to Mr Le-Core. He listened and reassured me that I would be ok and went above and beyond in making that happen. I had no previous experience in dealing with courts and solicitors and he would always check in on me and make sure I was personally ok and not just for the courts and law purposes. As my court date got closer, I was helped to understand what would be happening and how Stowe Family Law would be there for me. Mr Le-Core sought out and found the best barrister for me and also made sure he spoke to me so that I was comfortable with everything happening. All 17+ allegations were dismissed and my ex was found to have told “untruths”. Truly without Mr Le-Core and his team at Stowe Family law I don’t think I would have coped. His honesty and professionalism are second to none and the best thing I have ever done is to pick up the phone to speak to him. Even now he calls to make sure I am ok and ask about my children. Thank you Mr Le-Core, I will never have enough words to describe what you have done for me and my children.

My experience with Stowe Family Law LLP was nothing short of appalling. I came to them at the most vulnerable time of my life. After my daughter was removed from me by her mother for no reason whatsoever, I put my trust in Stowe Family Law to help reunite us. What I received instead was financial exploitation, zero results, and an outrageous £33,000 bill that drained my entire savings.

For all that money, I got some bundles of paperwork, a few back-and-forth emails, and the occasional phone call — nothing that justified the extortionate fees they charged. After three court cases with Stowe Family Law, I was no closer to seeing my daughter than when I started. In the end, I had to represent myself, and within one hearing, I won.

The judge agreed with everything I presented and even told my daughter’s mother that her behaviour was nothing short of disgraceful. So, after all that time and money, Stowe Family Law delivered nothing. A complete waste.

It doesn’t stop there. After leaving me financially ruined, Stowe Family Law had the audacity to chase me for a further £3,431. I couldn’t afford it then, and I still can’t afford it now. I tried to pay £50 a month — which was difficult enough given the financial hole they left me in — but they still pushed ahead with a County Court Judgment.

To be fair, one of their staff members, Ashley Le-Core, was polite and professional. But let’s not sugar-coat it — despite his kindness, the goal was always the same: get the money.

I wouldn’t recommend Stowe Family Law to anyone. They take advantage of vulnerable people at their lowest, offer little in return, and leave you worse off than when you started. Absolutely disgraceful.

The two solicitors I dealt with at Stowe were, firstly, very helpful with their legal advice. Perhaps, just as importantly, they were also compassionate in their approach. I really appreciated their calm, considerate approach to dealing with difficult and sensitive issues. Their communications to the other side were also calm and measured which was noticeable given that the responses were, at times, aggressive and combative in tone. The difference between the approaches was marked. Their support and approach has been greatly appreciated.

I cannot recommend Stowe Family Law highly enough for their exceptional service and support throughout my family law case. From start to finish, the team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Avoid this lot. £40k down on legal fees and we haven’t even been to court as they kept on suggesting cost effective ways forward. They were so cost effective that they submitted a D81 form to the court without a single word of motivation for my case - no mention that I have a special needs daughter who will spend her life with me! No surprises that the judge declined the submission. Stowe’s explanation was that judges don’t like to read!!! They then charged me to try and fix their botch up - now with a lengthy and very wordy explanation to the judge. They get their facts woefully wrong and even had the temerity to suggest I sign a statement saying that Stowe did not make an error - I know my case and provided proof of their error. Another “draft” arrived with a statement saying that I had agreed there was full and frank disclosure from the other side when in fact that is one of the crucial problems in the case as disclosure was sorely lacking. They just keep billing for their errors! It beggars belief.

Sophie was a great support to me and helped me manage a very difficult and emotional personal situation with decisiveness and clarity throughout. I was consulted at every step of the way and she helped me achieve all I set out to do, with a fair and agreed settlement. I am very grateful for her knowledge and professionalism

My experience was great I couldn’t fault them. I originally spoke to a lady who listened to me and then sent my details to a colleague that was more suited for what I needed. I Was put in contact with Sophie. wasn’t able to have much contact on the phone as I work shifts, but Sophie was great she accommodated me and we spoke via email and if I needed to call I could and I did. Great advice really knew what she was talking about and I asked a lot of questions. But everything was explained and she made me feel better and not stupid asking them questions.
