Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful! The only reason they have good reviews here is because they ask clients to leave a review after the first meeting. They are absolutely terrible! I suggest that all clients keep a close eye on their bill breakdowns because they make lots of "mistakes" when charging their clients. This company is the worst option you could choose! I bet they will respond to this review faster than they respond to my emails. They do not respect their clients' instructions and take ages to reply to even a simple email. Their priority seems to be prolonging matters rather than resolving their clients' problems, allowing them to charge more fees. I had the worst experience of my life with a solicitor at this company.

Very informative divorce matter discussion

What a pleasant experience. Contacting a solicitor is not the easiest thing to do but there are times when you feel there is no other choice but to reach out for legal help and support. That’s exactly what I got. Jay Beaver was kind and assuring. He listened and supported. His empathy for my situation was genuine and I’m glad I made the call. As a whole this experience has been heartwarming including the added call from Emily Harrison-Croft has left me knowing if I do need legal support I will be treated with the utmost care and support. Breached my personal data
Breached my personal data, ended up suing them, they settled out of court for £1,000 but they are now being awkward sending the money.

Disappointing experience
Disappointing experience.
Despite their advertised initial consultation, after providing all necessary details, including personal details of both parties, i was abruptly informed they couldn’t proceed and was directed to contact the local law society for assistance. Unsure why my and my ex's personal information was collected if they couldn't assist. Not the professional and helpful service I was expecting.

I have been married for 15 years now and I have 2 beautiful children My wife left me 2 years ago And took children with Her to the US.
I filed for my divorce here in the UK even though she was living in the US and this company really helped me they supported me and really help me through my divorce case.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Stowe Family Law LLP, and I must say that I was deeply disappointed with their services. From my personal encounter, it became evident that they prioritize their financial gain over providing quality representation.
One of the most concerning aspects of my experience was their tendency to drain clients' funds without delivering the necessary representation in court. They would consistently request money to be deposited into their account and then flood me with unnecessary letters, each requiring additional payments. It felt like they were intentionally prolonging the process to maximize their own profits.
To make matters worse, despite the substantial amount of money I had already paid, they failed to adequately represent me in court. Instead, they continued to send irrelevant letters, adding insult to injury. As a result, and said am owing them an additional £1900, which they aggressively demanded payment for, even threatening legal action and the seizure of my furniture.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to steer clear of Stowe Family Law LLP. Their actions and behavior suggest a lack of professionalism and integrity. It is clear that their primary focus is on financial gain rather than providing genuine support and representation to their clients. I regret ever placing my trust in this firm and strongly urge others to avoid them at all costs.
Please be cautious and conduct thorough research when seeking legal representation, as it is vital to find a solicitor who genuinely cares about your best interests and will provide the services they promise.

Stowe certainly stood out when I changed over to them
After being disappointed with my then current firm of solicitors, Stowe certainly stood out when I changed over to them. While being a relatively straight forward case, my (ex) partner was particularly difficult and litigious, making the whole proceedings a nightmare that would often balance of a knife edge. It took Stowe to take control of the case and to protect me from ensuing storm. Their communication was always clear and concise. I enjoyed both their openness and their frankness. They were always on message for a fair and above board outcome. Their case preparation for both barrister and court was also always clear, complete and above question. Special thanks go to both Chris and Debbie for all their hard work and patience.
