We have bought and sold property in a number of different countries, but it's a while since we bought in London. Even though Sarah was acting for the vendor, she was extremely helpful to us throughout the entire process, making valuable introductions to local experts and contractors.
Most importantly, Sarah was open, transparent and very communicative throughout the entire purchase process.
Sarah is absolutely one of if not the best agent we have come across and we would highly recommend her whether buying or selling.

We recently bought a property marketed by the Perth Branch and although we were not specifically their “clients” (as they were acting for the seller), we found them to be so friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The two staff members that we dealt with were Hamish and Amy and honestly, having a phone conversation, or email with either of them was like talking to an old friend. So welcoming and accommodating with great liaison between themselves and their sellers (the sellers were actually amazing too, going above and beyond to make life easier for us which was very much appreciated).
We’ve never used S & P to market any of our houses (we’ve had a few and mostly self marketed ;-)), but if we are ever in need of an estate agency in the future, I’d definitely give the Perth branch of S&P serious consideration.

The sale of our property went through fast and the communication made the whole process and experience extremely efficient.

I rented a 2 bedroom flat in Eddington, Cambridge, managed by Strutt & Parker, and have experienced serious health and safety issues that went unresolved despite 1.5 months of communication.
• On 31 May, I reported a water leak — foul-smelling waste water damaged the property and caused visible mould. Even my children's books were ruined.
• Plumbers came on 3 & 9 June but left the removed bathtub panel unsecured in the corridor for over a month, creating a hazard.
• On 3 July, I learned the leak involved waste water, meaning my family — including two asthmatic children — had been exposed for weeks.
• Repairs began on 8 July, but the flat was left littered with tools and rubbish, including outside our neighbours' door.
• On 9 July, mould-killing chemicals were applied without notice, causing eye irritation. The agent later confirmed this exposure — no safety measures were taken.
• As of 15 July, the carpet is still mouldy, the communal area is contaminated, and my son is still sleeping on the sofa.
Communication from Strutt & Parker has been inadequate throughout. I was told to "be kind to the landlord" because they had to cover the cost of repairs — while I have already paid a full year’s rent upfront and am unable to relocate.
My lease ends on 15 August, and I fear this flat may be re-let to another unsuspecting tenant. No one should have to endure these conditions or this level of neglect.

We had an excellent experience with this agency, notably Mr. Aaron Turner—no delays in communication and timely response to our requests related to our purchase. Presentation of the property on the website was superb! It was much better than our agent did for selling our property. Highly professional job and satisfied customer! Thank you all guys.

Amy and Hamish in the Perth office helped us to sell our parents home. They made us feel relaxed and reassured at a very stressful time. When the sale hit some unexpected snags they steered us through with the calm professionalism that only comes from a deep knowledge of Scottish property processes and experience. I would recommenced them to anyone selling a home in Scotland.

Sian in the Notting Hill branch was a great help throughout my search for a new property to rent. She was diligent in following up and introducing new properties then professional throughout the negotiation process. In addition, she remained engaged and communicative after a contact was signed (which, in my experience, doesn’t happen with other agents). We had an excellent experience with Strutt and Parker, Perth office. They were consistently kind, considerate always responsive. All the staff at the Perth office, especially Hamish and Amy were genuinely invested in the sale of our house and we were extremely impressed with the service. This is the second time we have used Strutt and Parker with the sale of our houses and we do not hesitate to recommend them.

Strutt and Parker under the leadership of James Gow gave us a fantastic personal service. The process of placing our house on the market and the stress involved was very much mitigated by the utterly professional service we received. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and the updates from James, Rosie, Andy and the team via a whatsapp group were enormously reassuring.

James's knowledge of the area and experience (and contacts) meant that the house was pitched at the right price in a difficult market. He and the team had prepared agents etc before hand for the sale and the viewings proceeded like clockwork. All those involved could not have been more helpful even to the extent of Rosie watering our garden during the hot period whilst we were abroad awaiting the outcome. Suffice it to say we got the right buyer and are delighted.
This is the third time we have instructed Strutts with some quite difficult sales (including our old country house) and on each occasion they have come up trumps. they are number one in my opinion in the market if you want the gold standard and I would always use them.

Seeking a new home near family after the death of my husband has been tough; 43 years of marriage then it’s all change. The warm, empathetic support and professional courtesy extended to me by the staff at the Sevenoaks branch has been hugely appreciated. Not only did they find me a new home but their genuine enthusiasm has imbued me with real sense of hope. They have shown that despite the necessary demands of business, humanity can triumph. After an unsuccessful attempt to sell our home the previous year, we invited Victoria Rose from Strutt & Parker Sevenoaks to meet with us in January. We were impressed with Victoria's knowledge and enthusiasm and her belief that it was entirely possible for us to be moving out of our home by June. Thanks to Victoria's stellar organisational, selling, communications and case management skills, that belief is now a reality.

As with any complex process, communication is key to a successful outcome. Victoria personally conducted nearly all of our viewings and would update us almost instantly about how the viewing went. When issues arose, she promptly informed us of the situation and took action to find a solution. We never 'wondered' what was happening or how things were progressing--Victoria kept us fully in the loop, with her reassuringly calm approach and welcome sense of humour.

When the time came to consider multiple offers, Victoria put forward a transparent and simple strategy ensuring that all parties had a fair shot. It should be noted that she conducted this process while on holiday--and it's not the only time Victoria acted during her own personal time to keep the wheels turning.

We wholeheartedly recommend Victoria and are immensely grateful to have had her manage our sale.

I can really recommend working with Olly Truelove at the Guildford & Horsham office if you are looking in that area. Once he had our brief he worked tirelessly and brough to us lots of relevant ideas and has helped us find our forever home which we moved into in January. He is hard working, efficient, polite and respectful. Can't speak highly enough.

Andrew Harwood and his team at Sevenoaks,made the sale of my mother’s house as easy as possible. They showed great patience with our buyers solicitor and pushed to get the sale through, I had a good flow of information and the tenacity of Andrew and his team shone through, it would have been quite easy to lose the sale,but through their diligence we have now completed

Strutt and Parker Sevenoaks Branch have recently completed the sale of our property. Despite the chain being problematic due to the failings of other estate agents within the chain. Victoria Rose of S & P was professional, honest and did everything possible to ensure our buyers were able to proceed with the purchase on many occasions out of office hours and at weekends. The good lines of communication S & P maintained between buyers, solicitors and developers resulted in us moving into our dream Home.

Newbury branch - understaffed, underresourced, got a lone junior staff member running the entire Lettings team, and literally could not organise a *p-up at a brewery as a result. No apparent efforts to get resources and help from their considerable branch network, resulting in a slow, badly communicated, unsupported process and 2 weeks later, I still have no tenancy contract to sign in the most easiest of circumstances.

If you’re renting a premium property, avoid Strutt & Parker. After 15 years of renting through three different agencies, this was by far the worst experience.

When something breaks or needs fixing, they will delay and stall until you stop asking. The issue is that you can’t just hire someone to fix it yourself since it’s not your property—leaving you trapped in Strutt & Parker’s bureaucracy and at the mercy of indifferent employees.
