From start to finish Sun-Hat were great - booking operatives pleasantly polite, efficient and switched on, rep on ground was good, the app is very useful and all around decent experience - definitely use again. Details of apartments very accurate.

We have booked several villas with Sun Hat. The reason we keep coming back is because the friendliness of the team is consistently amazing. The knowledge they have of the villas and the surrounding area is beyond belief. They always do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it

We have booked in the Algarve with several companies in previous years with generally good experience but Sun -Hat are the most helpful and responsive that we have dealt with. We booked Villa Zara in Val do Lobo and it was excellent with amazing sea views and very comfortable accommodation.

We had a very good experience with Sun-hat Villas when we stayed at the Praia Vista apartment (A30C) near Dunas Douradas. We encountered a serious problem with the AC and the apartment resembled a sweat box. Clearly the AC was not working and the local representative, Chris, kindly moved us to another apartment with adequate AC.
Sun-hat approached the owners, Laura & James, to ask them to fix it but they declined. TBH, they are a disgrace so we had no alternative but to move or just go home. It seems the AC system in the block, including Praia Vista is completely broken. We were reliably informed when we arrived that the entire AC system needs replacing, and not just a fix, so the owners would have known this but still took our booking. So if you are planning on staying at Praia Vista over the coming months, I suggest you get assurances that the AC is replaced and full working or find another place to stay. This situation has ruined our holiday, I hope you don’t encounter the same issues.
The apartment is tired and there are several other problems with the apartment, electric switches not working, leaking sinks and whilst cosmetically it look appealing, the owners need to reinvest. The owners, realising we wanted to move, offered us a possible discount on our next holiday at Praia Vista. The sheer audacity of their comment demonstrates their arrogance and the chances of revisiting Praia Vista are non-existent. They have lost a valuable customer.
The only good thing about this post is that Sun-hat delivered. The representative listened, understood and handled our complaint very well. We now just simply wish to enjoy, what remains of our holiday, a comfortable and relaxing stay but wish to inform future residents of the issues they face.

I appreciate that the air conditioning system was not repairable but we were told that the apartment had not been occupied since 11 May when it was much cooler. I also think that air conditioning should be tested before occupancy to make sure it is running efficiently. This clearly was not the case and we spent five sleepless nights in stifling conditions. We were both exhausted and unhappy.
We were indeed moved to another very similar apartment but this involved packing suitcases again and transporting luggage and all our refrigerated items and food to another property.
The whole issue totally ruined our holiday.
I appreciate that Sunhat were very helpful and sympathetic but that did not help our immediate situation.
We really thought we had found our long term holiday property but this is not now the case.

Great company to deal with very friendly and efficient this is our third time booking with them and we will be booking again.

We stayed at the Villa Do Cerro in Carvoeiro, Portugal for 5 nights and WHAT A HOLIDAY. The Villa was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and had everything we needed for an amazing stay away. Naomi helped us throughout the entire booking process and was AMAZING. Every question and query I had was answered in record time. Could not fault the service or the stay. Will 100% consider booking again with sun hat.

I requested a surprise welcome pack for my son and his girlfriend on their arrival at their villa . I spoke to a lovely lady called Naomi Belsham , who went out of her way to help me fulfill my request . I was also kept up to date via emails . Outstanding !! Thank you again 😁

Sun-hat Villas are first class, all the way through from helping you look at options for your break, to preparing to go, and once you are at your resort checking in to see that everything is going well. The team are extremely friendly and very helpful, and I have booked with them multiple times because I trust them and find them to be very efficient.

We had 10 fabulous days at Villa Marchesa in Vale do Lobo. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Beautifully and stylishly decorated. Everyone was catered for and was so spacious that no one felt on top of each other.

Excellent villa rental agency. Personal and responsive service. We now always go with Sunhat for Algarve rentals. Definite 5 star.

So far, we have had nothing short of a fantastic experience booking our first self catering villa through sun hat villas with our baby and can already see us using them on a regular basis! From the main details of keeping us informed with check in details all the way to recommending local Pilates studios, Naomi has been absolutely brilliant 10/10 and can’t wait for the holiday! X

Excellent villa company, customer service perfect, great choice of villas and always helpful if any help is needed when in your villa. Have used them many times and would highly recommend Sunhat to others, especially for Algarve villas. .

Although our stay is only scheduled for August, I would already like to highlight the excellent support we have received from Naomi.

She has been extremely helpful and responsive, particularly in guiding us through the house equipment and ensuring everything is clear and easy to understand ahead of our arrival. Her professionalism, clarity, and willingness to assist have made the whole process very smooth and reassuring.

It is truly appreciated, and it gives us great confidence for our upcoming stay.

We have used Sun-hat Villas multiple times a year to book accommodation in Val do Lobo and also Quinta do Lago. Each and every time the process to book and the office staff we encounter are exemplary. So easy and efficient. Admin staff are accessible and friendly. Frequently have contact with Rose, Lily-Mae and Ann. All a delight to deal with.

Special shout out for the in resort team, notably Charlie who we have liaised with for a number of years now. She is just amazing. She goes above and beyond on every trip to ensure travelling with kidney disease is made easier. Literally goes out of her way to help every single trip. She is the front facing person for customers and is a credit to the company

We stayed in an apartment at Sau Lourenco last week. Truly was amazing with fab facilities and service from the onsite team and reception.

I have recently booked a villa through Sun Hat Villas for a multi generation holiday. I had lots of requirements and I also wanted it to have a wow factor. I worked with Roseanna who sent me lots of properties and also lots of my questions. I have been very impressed with the service that Roseanna offered. I have then since been in contact with Naomi regarding the additional items and elements I would like for the holiday. Such asa pool table, restaurant recommendations and a private chef. Naomi was very prompt and detailed with her response. This is all taking a lot of the work out if it for me. Thank you both!
