SupermarketItaly is just super and marvelous!! I love their selection which includes foods from around the world. What I am most impressed with is the care they take in packing the box. Everything is securely wrapped in bubble wrap and many times they are packed in smaller boxes within the larger box. It really is such a pleasure to receive their shipment.

Outstanding products, shipping (packaging and timing), and customer service. So excited that I found this online store!

I ordered over a dozen different kinds of candies because I wanted something truly high quality, and the order I received from Supermarket Italy was absolutely fantastic. It’s honestly the best candy I’ve ever had. Some of the sweets brought back childhood memories from my huge Italian family, and most of the candies I ordered were imported from Italy—they’re simply beyond words, so fresh and delicious. The entire shopping experience was extremely easy, the website was simple to use, and my transaction went smoothly from start to finish. Shipping was prompt, everything arrived well packed, and the quality was outstanding. I will definitely be buying all my candy from Supermarket Italy in the future!

The cheese, which was a gift for a sick person who'd requested this cheese but no particular brand, ..a cheese which is raw and unpasteurized which cost me $65 for 14 ounces including shipping.

Okay that's fine not a terrible price since I assumed naturally it's supposed to be delivered cold and with packaging costs, however the cheese arrived to an address which is less than 1 hour from their store and somehow, despite a couple of melted ice packs the cheese was warm, hot even as it's been a hot day .

It also arrived from an unknown to me shipper who delivered it about 9pm on a Sunday night leaving the box in the driveway by the garage.

Despite I'd heard them and retrieved it immediately, it was warm and ready for the garbage with a note in it saying it " may arrive warm" which they say is fine as it's a hard cheese. Why wasn't that on their website, I screenshot their disclaimer which says nothing about their cheeses arriving warm after days in shipment.

Who knows how it was stored before it arrived as it was packaged 9 months ago and expires in 3 months so i have no idea the condictions it was kept in if they would be so irresponsible to ship something in this way arriving warm just less than 60 minutes away. How does that even happen? Even the cheapest UPS or FedEx would be 1 day and the ice shouldn't have melted. I guess ice packs are expensive?

I'm not going to give it to her as a gift because it's already an unpasteurized raw product and you could smell it through the box so I threw it out right away and then went to see if I misread something or just missed something on their website but no, I I realized they never bother to say online before you purchase that it may arrive to you (a whole hour away) warm, but they only mention it after you've bought and paid for it.

It does get better though and funnier...there's a box inside the box that says "free gifts"

Those free gifts are a box of some kind of grain that expires in 4 days, A bag of nuts that expires in 6 days, and cookies that expire in a little over a week. So I assume that's how they get rid of items that are expiring perhaps supposed to make up for me spending $65 for nothing but warm raw and unpasteurized cheese) nobody I know is going to be so crazy to eat, and some expiring food I'll throw out for the squirrels.

I'm afraid to know if they accept returns because it would only give me visions of people who priorly had these food products and returned them because they arrived warm, and then were sent to me or to who they were sent to next lol. But again that's speculation they may not even accept returns or resell them after.

Back to the drawing board to find the raw unpasteurized Parmesan cheese this woman asked me for and to get it to her cool and refrigerated and hopefully before o visit her later this week.

None of this would have mattered had they bothered to be honest and say in their site that they don't ship overnight, and that that don't use enough ice packs or that even if you're literally less than 60 minutes from their store they cannot manage to even ask you if you want your items cool or cold when they get there even if you have to pay more. Then I could have made an educated decision if I wanted to take a chance on getting warm smelly boxes of cheese or shop elsewhere.

Just my experience and opinions of what happened when I tried to but from them. $65 into the trash and I guess there will be some happy squirrels tomorrow.

I did but her another cheese she wanted from another place and I'll update that info if they do a responsible job getting it here cold or at least cool.

** okay., to bring home the point of just what kind of people they are, this actually even gets worse. They replied to my email asking for a photo of ten damaged items ....knowing full well that the cheese would look perfect as you cannot photograph the damage caused by leaving raw cheese in a hot car for several days arriving inedible. This gaslighting to me shows how far they will go in their deceit.

Great service. Delicious product. Will shop here again and would like to try other products as well.

This was my second order, and I'm very happy. Shipping was prompt and reasonable time-wise. Everything was packaged extremely well. The quality of all items was excellent each time.

I love the great variety of items. I appreciate the many choices of colorful and differently shaped pastas.
Everything was well packed and carefully delivered. The cheese I ordered was unique and tasty. And the balsamic vinegar looks so interesting, I am planning to keep it to give as a gift.

For the most part I am very satisfied with the products I have purchased from SupermarketItaly. Some of the products are not as tasty as I would like but for the most part all the products are of good quality.

I have been ordering from Supermarket Italy for a couple of years and they have done a great job. The shipping has only been pretty slow one out of about ten orders. I think that's acceptable. They put on a lot of sales, reply to any problems, and have a huge variety of foods that I cannot find at my small local stores. I will continue to shop here and highly recommend to all! A week has passed with no communication since my order confirmation. I email them only to be told they are out of stock. Took my money and never notified me. Wonder if they would have continued to wait for me to inquire. Now I will be completely out of the product before I can order and receive it elsewhere. Never again .

Ordered perishable items arrived hot from FedEx but upon contacting customer service,the items were promptly replaced and a return shipping label issued for the spoiled items. Thank you SupermarketItaly

I absolutely love all the products I have ordered especially the coffees, sauces and pastas. I am trying to place another order this evening, but having problems downloading the app. Not sure what the issue is, but will contact customer service if I can’t log on with the downloaded app. Otherwise, I love all the products and looking forward to my next purchase (cheese with olives) one of many items I have ordered…

I’ve been a regular for a few years now, and am happy with the prices, careful packing and fast shipping. I’m mostly here for the olives, but am always happy to discover a new tea, spices or some other surprise - it’s always been good.
A few olive loving friends have also become fans.
Only one time a single jar in an order arrived broken, and was immediately refunded.

The food items they carry are great. They have an extensive asortment of various foods imported from Italy. These foods are all natural and pure with no additives. The products they carry remind of when I lived in Puglia Italia I was in heaven three withthe food and I am in heaven again with Supermarket Italy. Fantastic!!
