Tracking/Delivery

EDIT: I have to update my review. DPnworld reached out after this review gave me a detailed update and sent a request to DPD to deliver today (Saturday) and it has arrived early on.

Initial tracking not the greatest and could definitely do with being more detailed, but I cant fault the customer service!

Dell sent me an email saying the item was shipped on 17th.

Then another email on 18th February saying it was out for delivery.

Syncreon keeps saying cant find information, but it never came. DP World website just says shipped and no further updates.

No way to speak to anyone on any side, for a 4K laptop and I am left in the dark about where it is, when it will be here and even more frustrated by the fact you need to sign, but no one seems to know when you need to be in.

Useless.

Received an email yesterday from Dell confirming delivery for today. It’s in writing, in an email, “delivery confirmed for 16th January”.

I wake up this morning to an email from DP World saying my delivery is planned for 19th January.

Having made arrangements to be available today I’m now expected to spend all of Monday waiting too, on the off chance DP World get their act together and manage to actually get my computer out of the door.

Completely unacceptable, especially in 2026 when I can watch the progress of a sandwich from door to door on an app. DP World can’t even confirm what country my £4k+ item is in.

Ordered a laptop from Dell on the 13th
still waiting

Ordered a laptop from Dell on the 13th December. Delivery forecast to be anywhere between 23rd December and 5th January. It was, according to Dell, 'shipped' on the 18th December.

On the 29th December, it finally showed up on the tracking with Syncreon as being with them, to be delivered 2nd January.

Today (30th) it's gone from, 5th January in the morning, to now 'We are working to deliver your order as soon as possible'.

Which to me means, they have no idea.

No explanation from Dell beyond requests for patience, as I've been repeatedly complaining about the lack of communication.

Why they choose this company despite the many complaints, I guess they must be cheaper (Michael Dell isn't a Billionaire by choosing quality shipping companies, if such a thing even exists).

Anyway, over to the Sara bot, who will post the usual boilerplate comment, as 'she' doesn't ever read them, witness the hilarious 5-stars given by someone along with praise and 'Sara' apologies for his experience!

Anyway, the trolling:

Quick and clear communication

After a deep investigation into what I was expecting to be a company issue. I have received a fantastic customer service from Syncreon.
So if you are buying something from Dell and you live in UK be aware that staus on shipping number provided by Dell will only update to shipped when your order will arrive in UK based warehouse. Not when it leaves China factory. Shipping from China to UK is fully covered by Dell own shipping courier.

Overall I'm very satisfied with customer service provided by Syncreon.

Its a pity there is no negative stars


Its a pity there is no negative stars as the system forces to give stars. The delivery service is appalling. I put through 2 orders through Dell which are time sensitive as these are work equipment. I only ordered on the basis of the delivery date of 4th Dec 2025 promised at time of order. Today is 4th Dec 2025 and end of day and no sign of delivery and the tracker is still stuck at the first stage of order received. I am really doubtful if my order will arrive in time for what I need it for. Dell should be using a different more reliable delivery partner for computer equipment . Steer clear of this delivery company and any retailer that uses them.. you won't receive your delivery.

Addition: 5.12.25 still no sign of the delivery and no movement on the tracker. The reply from syncreon stating they will reach out didnt happen as I didn't receive any contact from them.

I have ordered my computer from Dell and Dell is using Syncreon. Syncreon said my order current delivery ETA for this order is 25/11/2025, and I have not receive any update on their tracking system. I am very worried about my order.

No tracking update

My Dell order was marked as shipped on Nov 15, but Syncreon has not updated the tracking at all since then. It still shows that the parcel has not been received by the warehouse. I’m really worried because this order is time-sensitive for me, and the lack of transparency makes the situation very stressful. Clearer and more timely updates would really help.

Lack of updates

ordered an expensive laptop on the 8th July, it was shipped on the 9th July. Dell informs me that tracking will be availiable 24 hours after package shipped. its now the 14th July and the tracking infomation has not updated states still awaiting package to warehouse. I am a little concerned as Its a very expensive laptop. It does state it will be with me on the 18th July but since there no tracking infomation it leaves me a little concerned. Dell state its with a local courier already??

Lack of transparency & slow delivery

Lack of transparency & slow delivery

I ordered dell computer.
Dell shipped order on Jun 13, 2025
Syncreon has not processed the order by their warehouse (today is 17th, the delivery, still same status)
Delivery date was updated by a day in the syncreon tracking, no communication to me whatsover about why is that the case

EDIT: After my complaint on the 17th June, I was contacted by support within 1 hour and they informed me in detail about the status of my delivery.

18th June: Delivery was then delivered by DHL and with working tracking.

I am changing my rating to 3 stars. The tracking of Syncreon was unreliable, but the customer support following the delay was very good & delivery was delivered the next day.

I bought an Alienware desktop for £2500


I bought an Alienware desktop for £2500 and the tracking info with dell says it’s been shipped but the website for this company has not been updated and says they haven’t even got it so I spoke to dell and they said it has definitely been shipped so at the moment I don’t know where my computer is or who has it but it’s supposed to be this company and all they are doing is pushing my delivery date back

Horrific delivery service

Horrific delivery service. I don’t understand why Dell use them. I ordered an Alienware laptop from Dell. Then informed by Dell’s tracking that it should have been delivered TODAY! (4th June)! Yet when I try to use Syncreon/ DP World’s tracking it’s not been updated. They state they haven’t even received it at the warehouse and that estimated delivery is the 12!!! Absolutely appalling. You’d think when you spend so much money with a company that you could at least trust it to be delivered on time but no. It’s not even like you can buy Alienware anywhere else.

Absolutely no tracking updates 😫

I have an ETA date of 12/05 for a Alienware area-51 Laptop. The DP World tracking tells me that it's not even in their warehouse. I have no idea if I need to take a day of work to receive this item. The tracking date hasn't been updated for days.

Failed to deliver on correct date

Ordered a laptop from Dell a week ago. Delivery date was supposed to be today, the tracking code I have for DP World / Syncreon says they still haven't even received it at their warehouse yet the day it is supposed to arrive.

No way to contact Syncreon is given directly so contact Dell through customer support who call them on my behalf and confirm that there is going to be a delay and delivery has to be rescheduled for Monday - another 3 days wait.

This is an unacceptable level of poor customer service and based on all of the other reviews something that is happening routinely!

If there is going to be a delay then let the customer know in advance so they can plan around it. If you cant meet the deadlines that YOU give me then just tell me what they are actually going to be instead of offering false hope

Your order has not yet been received by our warehouse

Item marked as 'not received' despite Dell having handed it to them. Delivery claimed to be 4th April, then the 7th, now the 8th. This delivery is very time sensitive for me so the lack of clarity is not appreciated.

EDIT: Order still marked as 'Your order has not yet been received by our warehouse' as of the 31st March.

I recently ordered a dell laptop and I asked to work from home in order to pick it up on the day I was told it would arrive. I received very little communication about the delivery of the laptop and ultimately it did not arrive. This was the only day I was available this week to receive the laptop. Since then it still has not arrived and I am now concerned about when the delivery is ultimately going to arrive. I have not been able to select a delivery date or receive any information on what time in the 9 to 6 window I can pick up the laptop. I am surprised the delivery service is so poor as the product I ordered was expensive, and due to the experience I have had I am anxious about the delivery and am wondering when/what day my product will arrive (I probably won’t even be in)

worst ever delivery service. zero tracking information neither on the Dell website, neither on syncreon's DP world partner's website, still I received an email that I can expect delivery tomorrow between 8:00 and 18:00 ? What kind of time window is that? I understand the final delivery is made by DHL. Why can't I get a DHL tracking number then?

Completely useless

Completely useless. Tracking is useless. Zero information since driver was 'unable to locate address', which is impossible, which was 4 days ago. Absolutely no way to contact anyone. Worst delivery company ever

Delivery was delayed by three or four


Delivery was delayed by three or four days (after Dell told me of original delivery date), then attempted but no record of how to contact DP World to establish a new delivery time / date. Cannot contact them at all. Complete joke and not up to standards expected of Dell.
