I would give a zero stars if I could. I ordered my son some shoes and spent $135.00 on them. Nowhere in the fine print does it say you can’t exchange for a different size if you get them and they don’t fit. They should have a warning that says “final sale”Or something. When I received the email when we received the order it says don’t worry if anything is wrong or doesn’t meet expectations, we will exchange or return. So I started the return process to be told No. We don’t do Nike Dunks-probably because they are expensive.
I would really caution you from ordering on this site. Don’t do it unless you’re 100% sure of your size or know what you’re getting will work!

I WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING LESS THAN A ONE STAR RATING. Ordered a loader from 2tactic.com . first time I used the loader it didn't function. Got in touch with Jane, She couldn't find my purchase? She was unable to even look up my name or order, sad and not very efficient. I'd say worthless is more like it. Finally I took the loader apart. Keep in mind I have been unable to load one round in a Glock 19 magazine, not one, a completely brand new loader. There are springs inside, I found when I took it apart. So I didn't ask for a replacement, just a new spring that wasn't bent. Do you think they could send me a .25 cent spring? NO! ALL I GOT WAS A BS SONG AND DANCE FROM JANE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WOULDN'T SEND ME A .25 CENT SPRING. MAYBE THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE SUCH BAD REPUTATION AND RATINGS. I MADE MY PURCHASE OFF OF FACEBOOK. Going to write them next.

I looked closely at their website and saw they are in Colorado... I'm in Utah and thought it should not take that long to get over the mountains! But!!! they didn't say that they don't have anything in stock and the items I ordered were coming from CHINA!!! So much for a Christmas Gift!! Still waiting on the shipment, just checked it has not left China even though I ordered it over 2 weeks ago!! WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN AND URGE ANYONE TO FIND OTHERS TO ORDER FROM!!!

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an online snowboard gear retailer. Their customer service is extremely rude, sarcastic, and condescending.
In April, I purchased a Burton AK Cyclic bib from Tactics with the intention of replacing my 3L Gore-Tex bibs by the end of the season. Later, I managed to patch my old bibs and decided I didn’t need the new ones. Since the item was completely unused, with tags still attached, I reached out to Tactics to initiate a return.
To my surprise, I was told flat-out that they would not accept the return because it was past their 60-day return window. Nowhere on my email receipt is this 60-day policy stated. When I asked to speak with a manager, customer service refused, saying no manager was available and wouldn’t tell me when one might be.
When I called one of their physical stores, the assistant manager assured me it would not be a problem and said to expect a return email. Instead, the email I received was dismissive and unhelpful—basically telling me to “tough luck” and pointing back to their hidden 60-day return policy.
After looking up Tactics’ customer service ratings, I discovered my experience is not unique—many customers report similar frustrations.
As a result, I will never purchase from Tactics again. I spend close to $1,000 every season on snowboard gear, and from now on all of that will go to retailers like Evo.com and Backcountry, who not only have excellent customer service but also offer a one-year return window for unused items with tags.
Tactics has lost a customer for life.
Avoid if you care about receiving quality products
This company is a joke when it comes to customer service. I ordered a whole new complete and as soon as I ordered realized i forgot to put my apartment number in it and immediately emailed to ask to correct it. Well as soon as they read the email they CCA anger the status to shipped and refused to change it. It also wasn’t dropped off to the carrier service until three weeks after the initial email. Upon receiving the products there was one that came defective. They refused to do anything to correct the issue that they are selling faulty products and suggested I pay to have them replaced. Apparently they think selling faulty products is a sound business model. I refuse to give them another dime. Will be shopping exclusively with their competitors who actually have great customer service and don’t sell faulty products.

Shoe Return
Received a pair of shoes that were too small and returned them unused. They indicated the return was “unsaleable” due to shipping placing a return label on the shoe box and reduced the credit amount by 50%. So much for that “Hassle free” return policy they advertise in bold. I’m noticing more and more online companies charging for returns and having strict return policies as well. I guess consumers now need to do a detailed review of the various return policies of prior to placing online orders.
Very disappointed with Tactics
Very disappointed with Tactics. 2 of the last 3 boards I ordered online came in the mail blemished. One had the griptape packaged with the grip side towards the board and had scraped the paint off and dug into the wood, the other had torn packaging and scratches that were obviously there before it had even been put in the box to be shipped. Even the third board I ordered had a problem with the graphic where it was peeling off, but that could just be a manufacturing defect. Not a good look, though.
Both decks that had been blemished were decks that were nearly out of stock when I purchased them, so I wasn't able to rebuy them after a refund. I refunded the first anyway and bought something different. However, with the second experience I was offered a refund and a 10% discount but I felt that wasn't enough for this repeatedly happening and me having to choose another deck again.
I can't rightfully order from Tactics now because there's no guarantee that my items will be received in proper shape nor will these issues be resolved properly. I had a friend order from a different company and they had mislabeled the wheelbase on a deck. When he notified them they apologized, let him keep the deck, and sent him a new one with the proper wheelbase free of charge.
These decks being blemished is a way bigger issue than that and with it being more than one occurrence I am uncertain of Tactics quality control. It's a bummer because Tactics has always been quite helpful with the problems I have. Customer service went silent after I told them that I wouldn't be refunding the deck and explained my reasoning.

customer service is a true gem as they helped me with a speedy exchange due to a manufacturing defect.

This might be premature but I haven't had an issue. I saw my stuff got shipped and it's waiting for me until I get home. I have to open to see if I got the right board of course but I think all is well, some of the negative comments are made look like it was all of tactics control so that's not fair. Anyway, if my order checks out, I'll definitely be buying from them again!
They took my money and only refunded…
They took my money and only refunded 50% of the returned item due to “its packaging” when I completed all required steps and everything was in tact. They also charge you 10 extra dollars for a return. This scam company deserves an audit.

Terrible Customer Service - DO NOT Order from this site
I was so stoked to try my new shoes out and knew they would sell out fast which is why I ordered two pairs to try two sizes. Unfortunately, my order never arrived. The Tactics customer service representative was condescending, rude, and implied that I was being dishonest about never receiving my order. After dragging the conversation on, failing to reply, and having me reach out to USPS, I received a message that said "hopefully we can have this resolved." Hopefully? This is such poor customer service. You are making the consumer jump through hoops and not offering a single solution. I read other reviews where consumers had to get a refund from their bank and I will probably have to do the same. If you ever have any postal issues with your address, I strongly discourage you from ordering from Tactics.com.

I ordered from Tactics twice stupid me. Both times took me to buy magazines instead of confirming my order. I went through Pay Pal. And Pay pal conformed my purchase. But no confirmation from Tactics at all. Rude. Oh well, I will make sure they do not get the money for the shoes. DGrossman

Don’t get scammed like me
DO. NOT. USE. THIS. WEBSITE.
I ordered a pair of shoes for $75, they for some reason sent the order to their fraud department and sent me an email saying I had to call some number with my order number and other info to confirm. They won’t answer the phone, they won’t call back when messages have been left, they won’t reply to emails. I absolutely just got ripped off for $75, save yourself the money. Don’t make the same mistake I made. The automated message on the phone says an assistant is “unavailable”. Yes, I’m sure a skate shop is just so busy you can’t find time to reply for two days.

I've shopped at Tactics since 2015, and never have encountered a problem. They are my go to retailer for skate decks and shoes, they carry a large inventory of decks and I can often find team decks on sale.
