Teaching Gadget is honestly a lifesaver. The resources are easy to use, well designed, and actually helpful in real lessons – not just ideas that look good on paper. Everything feels practical and made by people who really understand what teaching is like day to day.
It’s great for saving planning time and keeping learners engaged, and the materials are flexible enough to adapt to different classes and abilities. I’ve found myself going back to it again and again because it just works.
Overall, Teaching Gadget is a brilliant go-to for teachers who want straightforward, effective tools without the stress. Definitely worth using!

Teaching Gadget is easy to use, easy to track student progress, and most of all have a comprehensive library of activities covering all elements of music theory. It is fantastic for setting as homework at KS3, or revision for KS4.

This is genuinely the best resource I've ever used.

It's much easier to keep the students engaged by using the games.

The homework tool saves me hours of work, literally one press of a button and it does everything for you. The students love this as well as it can be done on their phones.

Teaching Gadget has become part of our regular routine in our Music Department. In KS3 lessons, we use these as Do Now Tasks and for assessments to be able to look at students' notation skills. My KS4 GCSE students regularly log on to complete tasks linked to their course which helps them not only with theory but composition and performance.

I have even been able to write to Elliott to request other games/features which have been acted upon immediately.

This is a fantastic resource for any music department and I would highly recommend.

We have LOVED using Teaching Gadget - it has been been really accessible for all our students and has helped to embed theory knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

It is fun, interactive, links what students see/know to what they can hear, and allows for independent work without too much teacher talk. Perfect for homeworks too. One of the best bits is that they will build new games/resources to match what your students need. Outstanding service!

An amazing resources covering a wide range of music theory activities that are engaging and enjoyable for pupils. Supports repetitive learning if key knowledge and the pupils make great progress. Scores are easy to track, the product is updated regularly and communication with the creator is really responsive. Ideas are acted upon quickly and effectively. Can be used in class or at home.

Absolutely fabulous resource. Students love it - it’s an easy win for setting homework - self marking and students become competitive and want to do their best.

If I can’t find an appropriate quiz, I have requested something and it has been designed and uploaded the same day. Quite incredible.

This website is simply fantastic. It works well in both KS3 and KS4 and pupils really enjoy the competitive element. The customer service is super efficient and helpful also.

Contacted teaching gadget to see if they can make me a game I could use as a competition for each year group focusing on pitch, rhythms and elements of music. Elliott asked me my ideas of what I wanted and within 2 days he had completed it. Exactly what I asked for. Could not fault communication or delivery. Elliott even went above and beyond and on the following day created two other levels of difficulty that I can use. Amazing thank you so much.

As a classroom teacher, this site gives loads of homework quizzes and lots of other really useful music tools. The site is updated regularly and any queries dealt with very quickly and efficiently. An excellent tool for music educators.

Also wanted to endorse what others are saying. Our homework has become much more meaningful with practical tasks to consolidate what we're learning in class. The baseline assessments made light of an onerous start-of-term task, and the data collection is absolutely invaluable to track both progress and who's done the homework! Elliott is also creating some bespoke assessment tasks for us as we approach our next assessment round, which will enable us to carry the activities out as a whole class. He is very responsive and helpful with any queries or requests. It's a bargain for all our 680 students to use :)

Teaching Gadget has completely changed my teacher life! As an experienced music teacher I always struggled to find meaningful ways to set homework- but now it’s a doddle! The interactive nature of the games has meant that I am able to teach, monitor and check musical knowledge and understanding in a really fun way. There are numerous different areas of learning that you can explore on the website and the content is always being refined and developed to include more activities. I have previously contacted teaching gadget to ask if they could produce a bespoke activity for me- to which they replied yes very fast and prepared the material almost straight away. I cannot fault the support and customer service I have received from Elliott. Also- the teacher feature to monitor progress and track marks enables myself and my department to easily collect meaningful data on pupil progress.

This is a fantastic tool that we have discovered works well for revision and homework tasks. All of our KS3 pupils now are able to complete meaningful homework all thanks to Teaching Gadget. We are extremely grateful for the customer service we receive as well, with a few bespoke aspects added to allow for our kids to make even more progress
