My Lord… I really should have checked the reviews before placing my order.

My issue is different, but it still strikes me as extremely unprofessional.

I placed my very first order with them. The total looked correct, so I proceeded to payment without any concerns. Everything seemed fine.

Then I received an email from my bank showing the amount that had actually been charged and, surprise… I was charged an extra $81.

It turns out the website charges in USD.

I had searched for “Tea Forté Canada,” and nowhere on the website did it clearly state that it is a U.S. company charging in U.S. dollars. To make things even more confusing, when you create an account, you’re asked to select your country, which made me assume pricing and checkout would be tailored accordingly.

Now I’m just waiting for my order, and after reading the recent reviews, I really hope I don’t end up with worms or any other unpleasant surprises.

My recent T forte tea purchase included a can infested with worms. The offer of store credit, rather than a refund for such a contaminated item, is unacceptable. I have lost all faith in your products and will take my business elsewhere. Expiration date on can 2028.

Guess I should have read other reviews before purchasing from tea forte, customer service was terrible..and they only credited me a THIRD of my return after insisting I send it back the most expensive way out of pocket.
I had high hopes because some of their blends sounded amazing, but I won't be purchasing again with practices liks theirs.

I received my 2nd order today and the item is not as shown on the website. The $26 "tumbler" arrived and is only 4 inches tall. It's smaller than my grandkids sippy cups. They sent a cup with the wrong design and the teas were incorrect and the portion on the teas isn't enough for 1 cup. I hope my other order isn't as bad. Both were purchased as Christmas gifts. On tv and on the website show items arrive in Christmas boxes. But they arrived in regular boxes with a picture of what's inside and they included the billing statement inside the boxes! I checked they were gifts and wrote gift cards. No gift cards just billing statements. Very tacky and unprofessional of them. The items received are not even up to Walmart quality. Now I have to shop again and pay for express shipping for the gifts to arrive before Christmas. After my 2nd order and prior to them being received they sent me an email with "a special gift for you" a big 5% discount off my next order! How cheap can you get after someone spends $140?
These people are scammers and should not be allowed to remain in business.
Updating to include the name of the customer service agent who continues to harass me over this. 5 emails from Lindsay Garneau claiming they are a quality company after I told her walmart wouldn't even try to pawn a 4inch cup off as a tumbler. The photo appears to be a 24oz tumbler.

This is a review for customer service, not the product. I received a duplicate gift and I wanted to return part of the gift for different items. I did not want money in return. 1) I was left on hold for a total of 25 mins (not sequentially) 2) I could not hear the customer service rep as his headset was staticy. I caught every 2nd word. I repeatedly told him that. He did not offer a solution (call me back? get a new headset?) 3) the gift was $97 dollars he told me that I can have $57 in exchange (the math doesnt math) 4) he then said I had to pay for all shipping (both ways) thus bringing my $97 gift down to ~$38. No other solutions offered. Not worth it. Painful.

He cancelled my Memorial day sale order, and did not even notify me. 5 days later without heating anything, I checked on it and saw it was canceled. If you didn't want to honor the 20% discount you offered, then don't even offer it, or lost items as sold out. When I reached out, I was told I can place the order again, without the discount. Not only I missed out on the MDW sales (I could've bought same stuff from other sellers), the items were gifts and I had scramble to get something timely.
