Send you emails daily, each getting more menacing in content, suggesting a specific special date for change. If you don't pay, as the date draws closer, the price goes down and the menace intensifies. On the date in question - about 2 weeks after you subcribed, they use telepathy to frighten you as you sleep causing all sort of freaky images and mentioning their name.
