The Temple of Incense story began in 2012, on a little market stall on Portobello Road, when us two sisters from London – Simi and Sam Aydee – set out to bring you the best in world-class incense. The ritual of burning incense is something that has been engrained in our lives for as long as we can remember, and we’ve now dedicated everything to bringing that bit of magic into your homes.

Misleading Product Photos
Ordered 100 pieces. They arrived opened, poorly packed, and without the boxes shown in the listing. The quality was very poor and the photos were misleading. Do not buy from this seller.

I'm very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your order.
From your review, it sounds as though you may have ordered our "100 Loose Sticks" option. These are supplied in a plain paper sleeve rather than individual retail boxes. We do try to make this as clear as possible on the product listing, where we include photographs of the loose-stick packaging and state that the 100-stick bulk option comes unboxed and packed in a plain paper sleeve. This option is popular with customers who would like the equivalent of five boxed packs for a lower price, while also reducing unnecessary packaging and being a little more environmentally friendly.
I'm also sorry to hear that the parcel or sleeve appeared to have been opened. We take a great deal of care when packing every order and always ensure items leave us securely packaged. For international orders in particular, parcels are sometimes opened by customs for inspection during transit, which is unfortunately outside of our control. If the paper sleeve itself had come open during its journey, then I do sincerely apologise for that experience and will certainly review whether there is a better way for us to seal the sleeves in future.
We always want our customers to be happy with their purchase, so it's a shame we didn't have the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly and better understand exactly what you felt was misleading.
We always encourage customers to contact us if there is an issue with an order, as we're usually able to resolve things quickly. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate an order under the name "Max", but if you'd like to get in touch via hello@templeofincense.com with your order details, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you and see how we can help.

Highest Quality Incense
Very high quality incense! I used to buy from Happy Hari until, sadly, the owner died. Temple of Incense have taken over Happy Hari’s best Nagchampa coated in gold dust!
Plus they have so much more! The most varied high quality incense you can hope to buy. Amazing aromas for any taste, beautiful energy and friendly personal service - a handwritten card with every order and a couple of samples thrown in.
Plus they have a shop selling all sorts of other paraphernalia related to incense and a meditational path

Phenomenal Quality
This is my 2nd order from Temple of Incense because I am so impressed with their Incense . I reordered Bulgarian Rose & Oud , it smells so beautiful and the quality is phenomenal . My first box of 20 sticks lasted for ages because the fragrance spread through my home and lingered for weeks so a box of 20 lasts for ages . If it came in perfume form I would wear it everyday .
The service is very good and my order arrived well packaged and quickly with some free samples and a sweet note .

Absolutly lovely
Absolutly lovely. I feel being taken care of… the incense sticks are coming from place called home - not machinery and warehouses - I can feel the care being put into it. Big cleanse incense sticks are absolutely incredible. It takes me to another dimensions. I’ve been shopping here for a while and honestly there’s no better place to buy these kind of items. Big shoutout to the ladies who put every care to every detail. Highly recommended.
