Wonderful day at gullivers. The park was much quieter than a regular day which made it far less stressful. Queues were so short which made things much easier. It was lovely to see families enjoying themselves especially as everyone understood other children's behaviours and needs. Thankyou !

The A word sent me and my 2 children to Marton mere for a weekend. It was a much needed break. There was a mix up with the caravans and they went out of their way to get us another van so we wouldn't miss out. Truly grateful.

We have always had the most amazing time at all the events with The A world.

We heard about the a world from a friend who had already been on a couple of take over days and become a member. When I had a look at the website I was surprised to find out that an a world charity shop had recently opened in our town, so I decided to go down and have a look around. I started chatting to one of the ladies who volunteered in the shop and she told me more about the wide variety of projects that the a world offer and contribute to. Since then we have become regulars at the shop and we’ve been to a take over days at Gullivers world and Eureka. The take over days are so welcoming and relaxed. It’s so nice to spend time with other children and families who understand rather than sympathise. We’re already looking forward to our next take over day at Bewilderwood in a few weeks.
If you looking for a community who understand both the challenges and rewards of being a parent to an autistic child then I can’t recommend the a world events enough.

I wanted to share my experience of this wonderful charity. My family had been able to access days out through The A World UK that we previously would not been able to access. The allow us to attend places like Gulivers world, Eureka, different zoo's and even holidays in a calmer, well planned and suppprted environment, which for children on the spectrum is essential. We never feel judged when we attend an avent because there are people who understand and accept. If thay was not the best reason to attend the events then maybe the fact that they are reduced, if not free of cost just makes what would normally be a struggle for our family to attend, an even more stress free experience. We love finding out what The A World has planned next and the social stories sent to us when we book on elevates and pressure and worries for the children too. We can't recommend them enough!

As a family we have loved the experiences The A World has provided us. My son loves the Gullivers World days and we’ve just come back from a funded holiday in Blackpool. The fays out have help my autistic sons confidence tremendously outside the home. We love there shops and always poping into the Middleton store to find a bargain. Thanks everyone who’s involved in this charity, it’s a great idea!

Could not recommend this charity enough.....the events by far are the best for our boys and they enjoy them so much and are so much catered for the needs of those with ASD. Both of my boys are diagnosed and these events are a life line for a much better experience for them. We have been to Gulliver's and most recently Diggerland ....both amazing, we look forward to attending many more.

My family enjoyed a lovely trip to Guilivers World with The A World last year and my daughter was just amazed by the fact that a lot of the children there had additional needs just like her! Her face genuinely lit up when she realised and she didn't stop smiling all day 😊

My Daughter struggles going anywhere new due to the crowds and commotion.
She gets very agitated. These days out have helped her experience new things at her own pace without it being to busy. I will be forever thankful for the opportunities we have had to go on a family day out where she can just be herself with no judgment.

The events at Gullivers have become our favourite family outings. We try to go to every Gullivers event. Our daughter wouldn't be able to wait in queues and would get very distressed on regular days at a theme park. On these event days she has an amazing time! Couldn't thank you guys enough!!!

We attended Gullivers world with the A world in march, the overall experience we had was amazing.
The entire day my child was at ease, he was able to be himself without fear of judgement from those around us. My son was able to access things that he never would of previously due to his anxiety and the fear of what other people would think if he didn’t react how other children would, but that pressure was taken away from him completely.
Every member of staff we encountered throughout the day were also amazing and so understanding.
Days like these give my son a joy he wouldn’t otherwise get to experience and we will forever be grateful for the opportunities that the A world has given us. Thank you

What an amazing and supportive charity this is, we have attended two events now with the A World and I can’t describe the difference these events make to our family life. Living with neurodivergent differences is a daily challenge for all of our family, and we struggle to access events due to a number of reasons, too busy, too noisy, too loud…. Too many people looking when my boy has a meltdown, we just want to his at home! Knowing we are surrounded by people in the same situation just takes this pressure away and we get some much needed family time! I cannot thank you enough 🥰

The A World UK has been amazing with prividing opportunities for great days out for my two autistic boys. Each event we have attended has been well thought out and non judgemental. The latest event at Diggerland was as expected a great day out. Without the A World organising these events some of these places would be inaccessible to my boys.

Amazing charity offering bespoke trips for family’s with children with ASD. It makes the whole trip so much more relaxed knowing that all the families there understand children with varying sensory, emotional and social needs.

We attendee the event at Eureka in Halifax but have attended other events with the a world. The event was well communicated and organised. It is great that the a world team are able to organise to many exclusive events for our children. Thank you so much

We are so incredibly grateful for finding The A World for our daughter and accessing some of the events they hold. I would never have been brave enough to take our daughter to Gullivers World on a normal day. The A World take over gave us a chance to experience a safe, non-judgemental day, surrounded by other people who just ‘got it’. Low noise levels and minimal queuing throughout the trip was the icing on the cake! Our daughter thrived there, and we now have memories that will last forever. We couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities and experiences that the A World have created, thank you so much!

We had our theme park trip with the A World last year and saw for the first time how wonderful it was for our son to be with his ‘tribe’ - he was instantly so relaxed and was his true self, a joy to see. A wonderful charity, so glad to have found you.
